Thomas Partey STILL has profile page on Arsenal website after being charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault - just five days after leaving the club
The discovery comes in the wake of the midfielder being with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. Partey is accused of attacking three women between 2021 and 2022.
The charges follow a three year investigation by Scotland Yard and comes just five days after his Arsenal contract expired on June 30.
Partey had been in discussions with the Gunners over a deal after impressing last season for Mikel Arteta 's men, who finished second in the Premier League and reached the semi-final of the Champions League.
The 32-year-old's listing on the Gunners' site includes a brief description of the player, that reads: 'Powerful midfielder Thomas showed his value to the team once again at the end of last season, playing regularly during the run in and dominating opponents with his tough tackling, authority on the ball and passing range.
'He began the campaign playing at right back, lifting the Community Shield at Wembley, but was then hampered by injury set-backs, limiting him to 16 appearances.'
The profile goes on to detail his career path from Atletico Madrid, where he won the Spanish title and Europa League, and was recognised as Ghana's Player of the Year in both 2018 and 2019.
On Friday, Partey was charged with multiple sexual offences. He is accused of five counts of rape. Two counts of rape relate to one woman and three counts of rape relate to a second woman.
The one count of sexual assault relates to a third woman. None of the alleged victims can be named. He will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on August 5.
The Crown Prosecution Service has said the charges came after it 'carefully reviewed a comprehensive file of evidence'.
Partey 'denies all the charges against him' and 'welcomes the opportunity to finally clear his name', his lawyer on Friday.
The Metropolitan Police said the investigation into Thomas Partey began in February 2022 after officers first received a report of rape.
He was first arrested in July 2022, though he was not named at the time and continued to play for Arsenal while investigations were ongoing.
He played more than 50 games for Arsenal while on bail, it has emerged.
In a statement, his lawyer Jenny Wiltshire, of Hickman and Rose, said: 'Thomas Partey denies all the charges against him.
'He has fully cooperated with the police and CPS throughout their three-year investigation.
'He now welcomes the opportunity to finally clear his name.
'Given that there are now ongoing legal proceedings, my client is unable to comment further.'
Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy, whose team is leading the investigation, said: 'Our priority remains providing support to the women who have come forward.

The Home Office has announced what it is calling a 'nationwide blitz' on asylum seekers who take jobs, after recent political controversy about people in asylum hotels working as food takeaway delivery riders. Ten days ago the shadow home secretary, Chris Philp, posted a much-shared social media video of him visiting an asylum hotel in London and finding bikes laden with bags from the various food delivery companies packed together in an outside courtyard. On Monday, Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat promised to increase the use of facial verification checks for riders after a hastily arranged meeting with Home Office ministers. The Home Office statement said anyone caught working could lose their accommodation or support payments, and that businesses found to be employing someone not entitled to work could face fines of up to £60,000 per worker, as well as director disqualifications or prison terms. It said there had already been an increase in enforcement and arrests connected to illegal working in the year since Labour took power. Asylum and immigration is seen by ministers as an area of political vulnerability, one being exploited by Reform UK and the Conservatives.
