
"Catalog " Unveils Trailer
The official trailer for Netflix's highly anticipated original series "Catalog" have finally been unveiled.
The cast includes some of the region's most beloved stars: Riham Abdel Ghafour Mohamed Farrag, Samah Anwar, Tara Emad, Ali El Beialy, Retal Abd El Aziz, Donia Sami, Sedky Sakhr, Dina Samy, Khaled Kamal, Bayoumi Fouad, and more.
Directed by Waleed El Halafawy and penned by Ayman Wattar, "Catalog" is set in Cairo and follows Youssef (Farrag), a father of two reeling from the sudden loss of his wife, Amina (Abdel Ghafour).
However, Youssef finds a lifeline in the most unexpected place: a series of parenting videos his late wife recorded before her death.
Each video becomes more than just a guide to a different life — they're breadcrumbs and a lifeline leading Youssef back to his children, himself, and to a version of fatherhood he never imagined he had.
The series' official logline reads:" After the loss of his wife, Youssef, a devoted father, navigates the ups and downs of parenthood while carrying the weight of grief."
"Catalog" combines emotional rawness with gentle humor, exploring not just the grief, but the process of rebuilding.
The drama marks Abdel Ghafour and Farag's second collaboration after the series adaptation of '

'.
"Catalog" is set to debut on Thursday, July 17 on Netflix.

Assala Nasri Drops Album "Daribet El Boad"
Yara Sameh Syrian megastar Assala Nasri released for the her Egyptian dialect album "Daribet El Boad" on digital music platforms and YouTube. It is produced by Rotana and consists of 10 songs. In the album, Nasri cooperates with new collaborations with composers Tamer Ashour, Madian, Mohamed Shafaay, and more. Nasri dropped her last LP, " Thumma Ana " in June 2024. Born on May 15, 1969, the superstar is one of the best female singers in the Middle East. She made her music debut with the 1991 album 'Law Ta'rafou'. The album featured four songs in the oriental operatic tarab style and was an instant hit with heartbreaking songs like 'Ya Sabra Yana' and 'Samehtak Ketir'. Hawass Foundation Launches 1st Course to Teach Ancient Egyptian Language
Ali Abo Deshish - Ahmed Emam In a bid to preserve cultural heritage and promoting awareness of ancient Egyptian civilization, the Zahi Hawass Foundation for Archaeology and Heritage has launched its first specialized course dedicated to teaching the ancient Egyptian language. The initiative is held in collaboration with Egypt's Cultural Development Fund at the historic Prince Taz Palace in Cairo, attracting around 500 participants keen on learning hieroglyphic writing and the ancient tongue. The opening lecture drew considerable interest and was delivered by Dr. Mohamed Hassan, a scholar of ancient Egyptian archaeology. His presentation explored the origins of ancient Egyptian civilization, the evolution of the language's scripts, and offered insights into the fundamental phonetic and grammatical rules necessary for understanding hieroglyphic texts. Among the distinguished attendees were Dr. Gamal Mostafa, Head of the Egyptian Antiquities Sector; Ali Abu Deshish, Director of the Zahi Hawass Foundation; several university professors; members of the Egyptian Senate; and a host of specialists and enthusiasts from the archaeological and cultural sectors.
