The new Universal Epic Universe and the 70th anniversary of Disneyland are getting a lot of the theme park headlines these days. Not to be left out, Walt Disney World Resort is offering some major summer deals, too.

A select group of roller coaster enthusiasts, as well as members of the media, got their chance to check out the newest roller coaster at Cedar Point on Thursday, June 26. And the air was filled with screaming, cheering and even a little Katy Perry, according to posts on social media. The coaster will open to the public on Saturday, June 28. But if you're a season passholder, get to the Sandusky, Ohio, theme park tonight, Friday, June 27, for a chance to ride it early. Here's what those who have already ridden Siren's Curse have to say: If you have a season pass to Cedar Point, you can get your chance to ride Siren's Curse early from 2 to 10 p.m. June 27. According to a recent post on Cedar Point's Facebook page, the offer is valid for all season passes – summer, gold, prestige and all-park passports. And if you want to ride it early, you should be able to buy a season pass today and use it tonight, according to the park's FAQ. The newest addition to the Sandusky theme park is billed as the tallest, fastest and longest 'tilt' roller coaster in America, the Akron Beacon Journal previously reported. The name Siren's Curse comes from the mythical sirens who reside in Lake Erie and lure sailors with their singing.
