Tom Walker: ‘Miracle' I made it through my Trnsmt set
Mr Walker, who was born in Kilsyth, rose to prominence in 2018 with the hit single 'Leave a Light On' and is also known for his song Just You and I.

He played the mainstage of Trnsmt on Sunday afternoon for the first time in his career.
He said it was 'really good' but admitted he had a 'crazy time getting here'.
He told the PA news agency: 'We played in Buncrana last night. The set was at 10.30 at night, we finished at 12, got on a bus – not a tour bus, a wee mini-bus – drove five hours to Dublin airport from Belfast, got on the 6am flight and came straight here.
'I've not been to bed so I'm feeling the burn right now if I'm honest.
'I'm tired. My voice just about made it through that set which is a miracle.'

He applauded his 'packed' Glasgow audience as 'amazing', especially given the 26C weather.
The Scot said it was his best time at Trnsmt yet and his first on the main stage.
Reflecting eight years on from his breakthrough hit, Mr Walker said: 'To be honest, I never ever thought I'd be able to pay my rent with music.
'Me and my partner bought a house four years ago together and I'm just so grateful.
'I never ever in my life thought I'd be able to sustain a living from music and I've gone far beyond anything I thought was possible.
'I'm just so grateful to everybody who's listened to my music, who has supported me, come to my gigs and bought my albums – thank you very much.'

He allegedly made a racist remark during a private conversation - something John denies having any recollection of ever taking place. Shockingly, the BBC and production company Banijay asked John to resign last week - and claim he had mental health problems. He refused and has now issued a statement to The Sun confirming he was investigated over the alleged remarks. John told how he intended to cause no offence to the person he was talking to and apologised immediately after the alleged incident at the time. He has now come out and said: 'Following publication of the Executive Summary of the Investigation into Gregg Wallace while working on MasterChef, I am aware of speculation that I am one of the two other individuals against whom an allegation has been upheld. 'For the sake of transparency I confirm that I am the individual who is alleged to have used racial language on one occasion. 'The allegation is that I did so sometime between 2018 or 2019, in a social situation, and that the person I was speaking with did not believe that it was intended in a malicious way and that I apologised immediately afterwards. 'I have absolutely no recollection of any of this, and I do not believe that it happened. 'However, I want to be clear that I've always had the view that any racial language is wholly unacceptable in any environment. Last night a source close to the chef added: 'John is absolutely devastated to have been pulled into this mess. 'As Gregg has pointed out broadcasting is becoming a dangerous place especially when there is no concrete evidence. 'If the BBC let him go for this, where will it all end? There will soon be no-one left on telly.' It follows a series of serious complaints being made about co-star and close friend Gregg Wallace. In a bombshell report, 45 of 83 complaints about the TV star's bad behaviour had been upheld - leading to his sacking last week. One included unwelcome physical contact and another three of being in a state of undress. The under-fire host, 60, yesterday apologised, saying he 'never set out to harm or humiliate'. In total, the report says 83 allegations were made against Wallace, with the majority of the substantiated claims relating to inappropriate sexual language and humour, but also culturally insensitive or racist comments. The inquiry, conducted by an independent law firm, was ordered by Banijay in the wake of a BBC News investigation which first revealed claims of inappropriate sexual comments against Wallace. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said he 'welcomed' the BBC cutting ties with Gregg Wallace and demanded action to end future 'abuses of power'. The PM's spokesman said he still has 'confidence' in the Corporation but that it must take steps to 'ensure the public retains trust'. The BBC has now also admitted the new series of MasterChef is still hanging in the balance. Wallace is said to feature in the 20 episodes yet to be released. Grace Dent is now set to be announced as his replacement on MasterChef UK, The Sun on Sunday revealed. The food critic, 51, is understood to have been asked to start filming for MasterChef UK alongside chef Torode at the end of the summer. It is unclear how the recent report and claims from the Aussie chef may change the BBC's scheduling. What did the report find? FORTY-five allegations made against Gregg Wallace during his time on MasterChef, including one of "unwelcome physical contact", were found to have been substantiated. An independent report commissioned by production company Banijay assessed 83 allegations against Wallace. The report substantiated: - Twelve claims he made inappropriate jokes and innuendo; - Sixteen reports he made sexually explicit comments; - Two allegations that he made sexualised comments to or about someone; - Four complaints that he made culturally insensitive or racist comments; - Three claims that he was in a state of undress; - Seven allegations of bullying; - One allegation of unwanted touching. Oscar Borland features in the official programme for the rock and roll band, who recently returned to the stage for the first time in 16 years. The Gallagher brothers are playing to sold-out arenas across the globe and the four-year-old will feature in the pamphlet at all gigs. He said: "I have been a huge Oasis fan ever since I can remember. From 1996 onwards I was hooked. "As I have gotten older, and during the time period when the band had broken up, I have been really into collecting Oasis memorabilia. "As a result of this obsession, I got to know Brian Cannon, who designed a lot of things for the band at their peak, such as album covers. "We became good friends after I started going to his shop Mircobot Boutique, down south in Kendal, which sells merchandise from the band and other groups." He also opened up on the meaning behind Oscar's picture in the programme. Raymound continued: "Brian knew there would not be any new music on this tour and wanted to design the programme like an album cover, with 20 pages to fill. "The idea he came up with was to base the pictures in the programme around B-side songs that some fans think should have been singles. "I jokingly said about getting Oscar involved and amazingly it ended up happening. "Oasis have a song called Fade Away and the lyrics Brian referred to were 'The dreams we have as children fade away.' "Oscar was photographed on a football pitch in Erskine, throwing the Definitely Maybe Globe in the air and a flight case with Oasis on it beside him, the idea being he was dreaming of being in the band. BBC staff who had authority to cut Bob Vylan livestream ‘were at Glastonbury'
It comes after the frontman of the punk rap duo, Bob Vylan, led crowds in chants of 'death, death to the IDF (Israeli Military Force)' during their set at the Somerset music festival. Police have since launched an investigation into the group with the BBC issuing an apology for the livestream and promising to no longer broadcast live acts they deem 'high risk'. 'There were 550 personnel working for the BBC at Glastonbury. Of these 328 were working for BBC Studios (camera crew, rigging, technical and production roles), 35 providing coverage for BBC News, and 187 other BBC public service, working across a wide range of roles, including technical crew, producers, presenters, engineers, runners, commissioners and compliance staff.' He added: 'There were failures in our coverage which led to offensive content being broadcast live. I deeply regret that such deplorable behaviour appeared on the BBC and want to apologise to our viewers and listeners and in particular the Jewish community. 'In considering what to learn from this, my immediate priority was to take swift actions, as detailed above, to mitigate against anything similar happening in the future. 'At the same time we are taking actions to ensure there is proper accountability for those found to be responsible for the failings in the live broadcast; and we are urgently reviewing our guidelines to see if any further measures are needed.' Bob Vylan crowd surfs during his performance on the West Holts Stage, during the Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm in Somerset (Yui Mok/PA) Since their Glastonbury set, Bob Vylan, made up of frontman Bobby Vylan, whose real name is reportedly Pascal Robinson-Foster, and drummer Bobbie Vylan, have reportedly been dropped by their agency, United Talent Agency (UTA), which appears to have removed the group from their website, and have also been pulled from a number of concerts – including their US tour after having their visas revoked. The group announced on Monday, in a post on Instagram, that they were unable to join rock band, Gogol Bordello, on their European Tour. The statement said: 'Due to logistical complications, we have decided not to join our friends Gogol Bordello on their upcoming European Tour. However, we will be heading to Europe in the coming months for both festivals and headline shows.' It comes after the group performed a sold-out gig in London last week where Bobby Vylan said: 'We are a loving band, we love you lot for being here with us. We love the Palestinian people. 'Their strength, their resilience, their ability to keep on going in the face of it all is a beautiful and inspiring thing. 'So as hard as this week may have been for us, it has been nothing in comparison to what the Palestinian people are going through right now.'
