The second co-location with Sign & Digital UK attracted 7,055 visitors who took the time out of their busy working week to discover everything the two industries and exhibitions had to offer. 130 exhibitors covering all aspects of the garment decoration industry came together to showcase their very latest cutting-edge equipment and 2025 blank garment styles. Some of the equipment debuts that visitors were able to see demonstrated live included the new SPYDER X computer to screen system on the EXILE Technologies stand, the TY-300 DTF printer on the Roland DG stand and the Epson's SC-G6000 DTF printer on the Xpres stand.

NEW DELHI: The Monsoon Session of Parliament is set to begin on Monday, after a break of over three and a half months. The government has lined up 15 bills, eight new and seven pending, for consideration in both Houses. The session is likely to focus on introducing and passing several key bills across various sectors, including finance, income tax , sports, education, mining, and shipping. The highlight will be the introduction of the Income-Tax Bill, 2025, which was first presented during the Budget session in February and later referred to a select committee chaired by BJP MP Baijayant Panda. The session will also mark the rollout of a new digital attendance system for Members of Parliament. Under this system, MPs will be required to register their presence using a digital device at their designated seats, a move aimed at boosting transparency and curbing misuse of allowances. This will be the first Parliament session since Operation Sindoor , launched in May in response to a terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. CLAT 2026: Exam date announced; registration to start on August 1
CLAT 2026: The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has announced the schedule for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026, which serves as the national-level entrance exam for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) law programmes across 24 participating NLUs. According to the notification, CLAT 2026 will take place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, and will be conducted in a pen-and-paper (offline) format. The application window is set to open on August 1, 2025, and will remain active until October 31, 2025, allowing aspiring candidates a three-month period to complete their registration. 'The Executive Committee and the Governing Body of the Consortium of National Law Universities (the 'Consortium') at their Meetings held on July 20th, 2025 decided that the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 shall be conducted on Sunday, December 7th 2025, from 2 PM-4 PM,' read the notice published on the consortium website. The official notification for CLAT 2026, which will include comprehensive details such as the syllabus, exam pattern, marking scheme, application fee, eligibility criteria, and other key information, is expected to be published soon on the CLAT website. According to the eligibility norms, candidates who have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 45 per cent marks (40 per cent for reserved categories) can apply for the CLAT UG exam. For CLAT PG, applicants must hold an LLB degree with at least 45 per cent marks, while candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories require a minimum of 40 per cent. In the previous year, the application fee was Rs 4,000 for candidates from the General and OBC categories, and Rs 3,500 for those belonging to SC, ST, and BPL categories. Last year CLAT 2025 exam was mired with controversies. Over five months after the exam was held following a bunch of court cases, Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) results for undergraduate courses were revised and declared on Saturday (May 17). This year, CLAT, which was held on December 1, 2024, faced court cases over a few questions asked in the exam and the correct answers to them. The matter has drawn attention to the framing of questions and the conduct of the exam, with the Supreme Court expressing 'deep anguish' in a judgement earlier this month 'regarding the callous and casual manner in which' the Consortium of NLUs has been framing questions for CLAT, 'an examination on the basis of which meritorious candidates get entry into the prestigious National Law Universities across the country.'
