Australian mom reported to police for having an OnlyFans account
We would all do anything for our kids. For Lucy Banks that looks like trading a corporate career for a webcam and building an empire in the process. All while dodging shade during the school run, standing tall through the whispers, and doing what needed to be done. Advertisement 'No one was coming to save me. I didn't have parents I could move back in with,' Lucy told Kidspot. 'I didn't have any savings or anything like that. So, although it seemed drastic to some people it just made sense for me.' She created an account on OnlyFans. Not for attention. For survival. 4 For Lucy Banks that looks like trading a corporate career for a webcam and building an empire in the process. Instagram/Lucy Banks 'I got a lot of hate, a lot of judgment, a lot of abuse.' Advertisement The mom of three wasn't chasing clout or quick cash. She was choosing presence over burnout. 'People say they'd do anything for their kids,' she said. 'Well, this was my anything.' Advertisement The Perth mom had been grappling with a divorce, her full-time job as a banker, and the exhausting reality of single mom life. When her son asked, 'Do we have to go to daycare? We miss you,' she decided enough was enough. 'It was such a line in the sand for me. I was like, 'I can't do this.' Like, it really broke me,'' she revealed. The judgement was swift and brutal once people came to learn of her career change. Advertisement 'I think the first assumption people made was that she's lost her mind. She's crazy. She's going through a divorce. She's on OnlyFans. What is she doing?' Lucy said. 'I got a lot of hate, a lot of judgment, a lot of abuse.' 'People had contacted child protection' But the cost of her decision didn't stop at judgmental stares. Things got much worse. 'I had women subscribe to my OnlyFans page, screenshot everything, and send it in groups,' Lucy revealed. 'I had a rock thrown in my yard and somebody had written 'slut'' on it.' Scared for her safety and her children's, she moved house. But then came something even more confronting. 4 The Perth mom had been grappling with a divorce, her full-time job as a banker, and the exhausting reality of single mom life. Instagram/Lucy Banks A police officer told her 'that they had had multiple complaints' about her. 'People had also contacted child protection and when I heard that I just burst into tears,' Lucy shared. The officer reassured her. There'd never been any formal investigation, no phone calls, no welfare checks. That's because there was no cause for concern. Advertisement 'My kids are never ever exposed to anything. They're never unsafe,' Lucy said. The officer reminded her that when people make baseless complaints like this, it says more about them than it does about her. 'They don't need to know that their mom is on OnlyFans' But perhaps the cruelest blow came when someone told her eldest son about her work before she had the chance to herself. 'He was told by somebody: 'Don't you know that your mom does OnlyFans?'' Lucy revealed Advertisement He had been just 10 years old at the time. Someone had taken away her power as a parent. It wasn't a conversation she was avoiding. Just one she wanted to handle when the time was right. 'My kids were too young to know what nudes were or pornography was,' she said. 4 But perhaps the cruelest blow came when someone told her eldest son about her work before she had the chance to herself. Instagram / @imlucybanks Advertisement 'They don't need to know that their mom is on OnlyFans…. someone took that away from me.' Over the years, plenty of comments have dented Lucy, but there's one in particular that still stings. 'What do you think you're doing? Do you really think you're going to become a rich single mom?' a former friend had scoffed. The irony? That's exactly what she did. Lucy has built her empire brick by brick. She is now running her own PR and marketing agency, Million Billion, and becoming the only woman to own the Adult Industry Choice Awards. 'A lot of the big porn companies and a lot of the big corporations in the adult world are all owned by men. I have a real thing about people who want to earn sex worker money, but without doing sex work themselves. I don't think it's fair,' she explained

If you're thinking about adding some pieces to your wardrobe, let this edit of meticulously crafted essentials be your guide to the Dôen items worth investing in. Camila Morrone has an enviable collection of summer whites by the brand. While in Mallorca with bestie Hailey Bieber, she wore two different styles: a hand-knitted dress featuring a 1920s-inspired cape and a now-sold-out crochet caftan. Don't worry – you can also shop Morrone's white Dôen Sebastiane Skirt and Simona Dress, which are perfect for getaways and summer-in-the-city escapades alike. I've Tried Tons of Work Bags But This $130 Quince Bag is My Go-To
As a city girl with a lot of stuff, I've gone through my fair share of work totes—leather totes, slouchy totes, totes big enough to fit a giant planner, a packed lunch, and a return package I need to ship off—all in an effort to find the perfect daily bag. I've found some really functional ones over the years, but hadn't found a really stylish option that didn't cost an arm and a leg until I came across this suede bag while writing our Quince review. Let's be honest: What caught my eye is that it's verrryyyy similar to The Row's Suede Bindle bag. But! It's not the exact same silhouette (aka a knock-off) so wear it with pride! You're not like other girls! (Jk, I am exactly like other girls and I love it.) I also had questions: Would the $130 bag look cheaper in real life? Was it practical enough, with space for all of my junk? Would its perfect slouchiness equal a lack of the structure I needed for laptop-supporting purposes? Time to find out! Yes! The bag is made of 100% Italian calf suede made in a Leather Working Group certified tannery, which means that they're working on reducing energy and water waste. It may be a tote bag but it feels a million times more luxurious than my usual canvas totes, and the structured bottom has held up nicely even when I load up the bag with a gigantic water bottle, seven lipsticks, a paperback book, and a MacBook. As for colors, it's available in the shade Chocolate (a slightly darker brown than my bag, which is in the currently out-of-stock shade Whiskey) and Sand, a lighter beige suede colorway that I have my eye on. And yes, it's a vibe twin (aka not exactly the same, but similar in ~essence~) to Dakota Johnson's favorite Bindle Bag that she's been spotted with over and over. If I can't have Dakota's gorgeous green kitchen, I'll settle for this purse! I even found Quince's verison to be better for me since it's more shallow, which I actually appreciate since it means less time digging for my keys while still holding everything I need. The bag measures 11" (height) x 17.5" (width) x 4.75" (depth), with a 11" shoulder strap drop that I LOVE. Nothing worse than trying to fit a too-short strap over a jacket sleeve or puffy coat. There's also an internal zip pocket as well as a bigger slip pocket that's perfect for holding my little card case (it always manages to get lost at the bottom of my purse). I also got my hands on Quince's leather slouchy bag in the shade Mink, hoping that it would be similar to the iconic Coach Brooklyn bag that Bella Hadid is constantly photographed carrying around. And honestly, I didn't feel the same love I had for its suede sister. Even though both are the exact same pattern and structure, the leather felt stiff rather than supple, and lay awkwardly on my shoulder. Something about the fabric just didn't sit right, making it look cheaper. It isn't available on the site anymore, but it's worth noting that seeing the two fabrications side by side just made me appreciate the suede version even more. YES. It takes a lot to impress me but I'm honestly considering buying a second one in a different color to swap out with various outfits. The bag is beautiful, sturdier than I expected, and just big enough. Buy one for your mom, your grandma, your really cool coworker—maybe Dakota Johnson would be interested in one of these Quince bags, too?!
