Man nabbed with ganja-laced chocos in Andhra Pradesh
Teams from the Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF), local police, and EAGLE officials conducted the search as part of 'Operation Flush Out', launched on the instructions of Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta. The operation has been ongoing across trains, stations, and buses over the past week. Acting on a tip-off, police boarded the train at Eluru and inspected all coaches. Upon reaching Vijayawada, they searched the luggage in coach S1 and found 40 pieces of ganja-laced chocolates weighing approximately 220 grams.
GRP Inspector JV Ramana said, 'We took the accused, Kailash Kumar from Korkatta in Jharkhand, into custody. He confessed to purchasing the chocolates from a local shop in his village and claimed they were for personal use.'
Further investigation is underway to trace the sources.

Pak fishing net buoy found washed ashore at Korlai beach in Raigad after six days of search operation
Navi Mumbai: A Pakistani fishing net buoy that had detached and drifted in the Arabian sea about five months ago and had disappeared after being spotted by the Indian Coast Guard on July 6 has been found washed ashore at Korlai beach in Murud taluka, Raigad district on Friday. Anchal Dalal, Raigad Superintendent of Police said, "The Pakistani boat's fishing net buoy was being searched for the past six days by multiple security agencies along Revdanda, Alibaug, Murud, Korlai and Mandwa beaches. Bomb detector devices were used to search for the buoy along the coastline. On Friday, the buoy was found washed ashore at Korlai beach. The GPS tracking system in the buoy would get activated in sunlight and the GPS signalling has been tracked to Pakistan, thus confirming that the buoy was of a Pakistani fishing boat to keep the fishing net afloat and the GRP tracker in the buoy is meant for tracking fishing activities. However, the buoy got detached during navigation and drifted and reached the sea in Raigad." While the Raigad police were searching for the Pakistani buoy, it was found that about 287 fishing boats in Raigad district were unauthorized. The police had sought details of the owners of more than 3,500 fishing boats in Raigad district. Out of them 2,800 fishing boats were found to be registered. Railways technician among two arrested for Panipat train gangrape
1 2 3 4 Chandigarh: Haryana GRP on Saturday arrested two suspects, including an Indian Railways technician, for gangrape of woman who was found near rail tracks in Sonipat with one foot severed by train. Mobile phone location was key in solving blind case. Accused were identified as railway staffer Bhajan Lal and Shivam, a petty thief. GRP teams are on lookout for four more accused who have been identified on basis of duo's preliminary interrogation. A Panipat court remanded the suspects in two days' police remand. "So far, investigations have established rape. Survivor was abused by accused at Kurukshetra in a bogie. After that, she travelled towards Sonipat. She told us her feet got entangled in railway lines in Sonipat, which led to her injuries and amputation," said GRP SP Nikita Gahlaut, ruling out initial theory survivor was thrown onto railway lines by the accused. Gahlaut, personally monitoring SIT, said the arrested duo confessed to their involvement and identified the location. RPF rescues 3 minor girls at Nagpur station
Nagpur: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) rescued three minor girls in two separate incidents on July 11 at Nagpur railway station under the ongoing 'Operation Nanhey Farishte', an initiative aimed at protecting children in distress on railway premises. In the first incident, RPF personnel during routine patrolling spotted a minor girl sitting near the ladies waiting room on platform no. 1. When questioned, the girl said she left her home without informing her parents due to a personal issue, but now wanted to return. The RPF immediately contacted her family and arranged for a medical check-up. Until her guardians arrived, she was placed under the care of the govt girls' shelter home at Katol naka. Later the same day, RPF staff found two more minor girls near the general waiting hall at the same platform. The girls said they ran away from home over domestic issues and reached Nagpur by train. A missing persons complaint was already registered for them at their local police station. The RPF personnel contacted the girls' families. After medical check-ups, both girls were also placed in the same shelter home.
