Morgan Wallen Matches The Beatles
Morgan Wallen lands three top 10 songs on the Hot 100 this week, matching The Beatles and Kendrick ... More Lamar with 10 frames of triple hits. LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - SEPTEMBER 23: (FOR EDITORIAL USE ONLY) Morgan Wallen performs onstage during the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Festival at T-Mobile Arena on September 23, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo byfor iHeartRadio) Morgan Wallen scores three top 10 hits in America yet again this week, as a trio of his most popular recent releases live inside the highest tier on Billboard's competitive Hot 100. All three of them are currently on the decline, pushed downward by Drake's brand new single 'What Did I Miss?,' which opens at No. 2. Another frame with multiple smash hits helps the country singer-songwriter match some of the most successful artists in Hot 100 history for a special place in the chart annals. 10 Weeks With Three (Or More) Hot 100 Top 10s This week marks the milestone tenth in which Wallen has claimed three top 10 hits at the same time on the Hot 100. Billboard notes that he is just the sixth musical act to rack up that many frames with at least a trio of appearances inside the region. With an even 10 to his credit, Wallen is now on the same level as both The Beatles and Kendrick Lamar, who managed the feat many decades apart from one another. Drake Leads, Followed By 50 Cent And Justin Bieber Drake leads all artists in this capacity, as he has landed three or more top 10 hits simultaneously on 19 occasions. He's followed by 50 Cent with 15 such instances, and Justin Bieber, who has done so 11 times throughout his career. "What I Want," "Just in Case" and "I'm the Problem" Wallen's biggest hit in America at the moment is "What I Want," a collaboration with Tate McRae. That tune debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 less than two months ago and has remained inside the upper reaches of the list ever since. This frame, it dips from No. 2 to No. 3, pushed down by Drake's latest smash. Wallen also sits at Nos. 4 and 8 with "Just in Case" and "I'm the Problem," respectively. Both of those cuts dip slightly this time around. Coincidentally, those two tracks stalled at No. 2, missing out on adding to Wallen's growing collection of champions. Morgan Wallen's 13 Hot 100 Hits Wallen fills a lucky 13 spots on the Hot 100 this week. That's a huge number of spaces for any one artist to claim, and it's something the Grammy nominee has accomplished many times before. Wallen increases his total as "Don't We" reappears at No. 94, while all of his other 12 tunes drop from where they sat last frame.

Billie Eilish, Shakira & More Musicians Are ‘Sending Love to Texas' Amid Deadly Floods
Billie Eilish, Shakira and more stars are speaking out amid the deadly floods in Texas. Starting on the Fourth of July, natural disaster swept through much of central Texas as torrential rains caused catastrophic damage across multiple counties. At press time, CNN reports that at least 89 people — including 27 young girls and counselors belonging to the Camp Mystic summer camp along the Guadalupe River — have died as a result, while others are missing. More from Billboard Jessie J Shares Update on Cancer Battle: 'Happy Tears Are Real' 'Park Waves Is Coming': Parkway Drive Tease New Australian Festival Fall Out Boy's Joe Trohman Steps Away From Touring for Hand Surgery In response, Eilish shared a video capturing some of the flood damage and wrote Sunday (July 6) on her Instagram Story, 'this is so sad.' 'sending love to Texas,' she added, following it up with a reshared video of a meteorologist warning how budget cuts to the National Weather Service under Donald Trump's administration would inhibit its ability to properly warn people of disastrous weather crises such as the floods. Shakira encouraged fans to join her in donating to Texans in need, sharing a link to a local crisis response charity and revealing that a portion of the proceeds from her July 5 concert in San Antonio would go toward the cause. 'Our hearts and prayers are with those affected by the flood in Central Texas,' she wrote on X. 'Your help is important and appreciated.' Miranda Lambert also sprung into action, sharing posts on Instagram about how her pet charity, Mutt Nation, would be assisting displaced animals in her home state. 'I can't even come up with the words for the loss everyone is suffering,' the country star says of the floods in a video posted on her Instagram, after which she shared resources about fostering pets, dropping off supplies and donating on her Story. Other Texas natives who posted about the disaster were Maren Morris and Hilary Duff. Sharing old photos of herself performing in the Lone Star State, the former wrote on Instagram that she was 'thinking of my home state right now.' 'the floods are devastating and people are still missing,' she added in her post. 'there are several places to donate but i'll be donating to an incredibly impactful fund called the Texas Hill Country Community Foundation.' The Lizzy McGuire actress shared a statement decorated with bluebonnets — the state flower of Texas — on Instagram. 'Heartbroken doesn't begin to cover it,' she wrote. 'Praying for even a shred of a miracle — to find a child alive in the wake of this boundless disaster … I'm just so deeply, absolutely sorry. Your loss is felt across the world.' Lana Del Rey mourned the loss of lives in both the Texas floods and the ongoing conflict in Gaza, sharing in a statement on Instagram, 'We've been thinking of you every day since the floods … May all the angels be with you as you search for even more lost loved ones.' 'And yes of course we pray for Palestine every day,' Del Rey added in a comment on the post. 'There is never a good way of wording things that will make all people happy but that is my personal truth. Politically I do keep up and have been very much hoping for cease fire.' The musicians' posts come as responders are still searching for survivors on rescue missions across the impacted areas in Texas. Even days after the disaster began, active flood warnings are currently still in place across the state. State representatives are also now grappling with how they could have better protected citizens amid the crisis. Sen. Ted Cruz told reporters Monday (July 7) that 'if we could go back and do it again, we would evacuate,' while Mayor Joe Herring Jr. of the heavily affected Kerrville, Texas, revealed in an interview with CNN that he hadn't even received an alert before the floods hit seemingly out of nowhere. 'It all happened upriver at the worst possible place,' he told the news network. 'And I think everyone in Kerrville, everyone in Kerr County, wishes to God we had some way to warn them. To warn those people … Everyone here, if we could've warned them we would have done so. And we didn't even have a warning. We did not know.' Morgan Wallen Matches His Own Record On The Streaming Chart
Morgan Wallen is the only artist who currently occupies double-digit spaces on Billboard's Streaming Songs chart. The country superstar continues to ride high on the success of his latest blockbuster album, I'm the Problem, as the set is on the verge of hitting two months at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Millions of Americans continue to stream the full-length project in its entirety, while many others are focusing on their favorite cuts from the 37-track effort. While the spotlight is on I'm the Problem and its many hits, one of Wallen's older tracks is still performing well enough to rank on the all-genre Streaming Songs tally. As it holds on – just barely – it ties the Grammy nominee's longest-running streaming win in the United States.'Last Night' barely manages to hang on, slipping from No. 45 to No. 50 this frame on the Streaming Songs chart. Even as it falls, Wallen's smash, taken from his previous album One Thing at a Time, reaches an impressive milestone – two full years (104 weeks) on the Billboard list. It's relatively uncommon for any track to remain among the 50 most-played titles on platforms like Spotify in the U.S. for that long, but this is a feat Wallen has managed before.'Last Night' is Wallen's second tune to rack up 104 weeks on the Streaming Songs chart. His former Hot 100 champion is now tied with 'Wasted on You' for the honor of being his longest-running success on the roster, as both have logged exactly two years on the list. When Billboard refreshes its ranking again, it's possible 'Last Night' could fall off, but there's also a good chance that the tune — one of Wallen's most recognizable — will return. If it can rack up just one more stay, it will break its tie with 'Wasted on You' and become Wallen's longest-charting hit on the streaming-only currently claims 11 spots on the Streaming Songs chart. He bookends the tally, with 'Last Night' at the bottom and 'What I Want,' his collaboration with Tate McRae, ruling at No. 1 for a sixth nonconsecutive frame. He secures a quartet of top 10s, as 'Just in Case' and 'I'm the Problem' rise to Nos. 3 and 4, respectively, while 'I Got Better' dips one spot to No. 8.
