'In light of recent developments in the regional security situation, we urge citizens and residents to use main roads only when necessary, to maintain public safety and to allow the relevant authorities to use the roads efficiently,' the ministry said on X.
Separately, Bahrain also said on Sunday that it has permitted a 70 percent remote working for all workforce in ministries and governmental institutions except for sectors whose work requires in-person attendance amid the ongoing tension in the region, according to the Civil Service Bureau.
'In light of the regional circumstances and current developments, starting today and until further notice, it has been decided to activate remote work for 70 percent of the workforce in all ministries and government agencies, with the exception of sectors whose work requires in-person attendance or those with special work procedures in emergency situations and as required by public safety,' the Bureau said in a statement on X.
The Gulf country hosts a US military base.
The statements came after the US hit Iranian nuclear facilities amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday night that American forces had struck three nuclear sites in Iran.
Trump said that the US 'completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.'

The Telegraph: Israeli Authorities suppress reports of five military bases hit by Iranian Missiles
Tehran – SABA: The British newspaper The Telegraph revealed on Saturday that Iranian missiles directly struck five Israeli military facilities during the recent 12-day conflict, citing satellite radar data withheld due to strict military censorship by the Israeli army. According to the report, six Iranian missiles hit five different Israeli military bases, yet the Israeli authorities have not disclosed the strikes, and media outlets within the entity are barred from reporting them under military censorship laws. However, American academics from Oregon State University, who specialize in analyzing satellite radar data to detect bomb damage in war zones, shared the data with the newspaper. The report indicates that among the targeted facilities were a major airbase, an intelligence-gathering center, and a logistics base. Additionally, 36 missile strikes penetrated Israeli air defense systems, causing significant damage to residential and industrial infrastructure. The paper also stated that seven Iranian strikes hit oil and power facilities, destroyed part of the Weizmann Institute – one of Israel's top scientific research centers – and caused severe damage to the Soroka University Medical Center. Strikes on seven densely populated residential areas displaced more than 15,000 Israelis. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Palestinian Mujahideen Movement Praises National Delegation and Hamas for Making Mediators' Efforts Successful
Gaza – Saba: The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement strongly condemned, on Saturday, the "international complicity and silence over the continued policy of starvation and suffocating siege, as well as the ongoing crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing against defenseless civilians in shelters and displacement centers—the latest being the horrific massacre at the Mustafa Hafez School—and the cold-blooded killing of starving, besieged civilians as they attempted to receive aid." In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the movement said: "The enemy's persistence in its heinous crimes against our people, who have been exhausted by siege and hunger due to Zionist and American policies, once again exposes the role played by the aid mechanism in killing and brutalizing our people. This inhumane mechanism has become a new death trap, a tool of execution and torment against our people by the Zionist occupation and its supporters." The movement held "the American administration and its president, Trump, fully responsible for this massacre and all crimes against our people, as well as the continuation of the policies of starvation and killing. The U.S. remains a core partner in the schemes and aggression of the Zionist enemy." It called on "international institutions to abandon their policy of silence and helplessness in the face of the Zionist occupation's atrocities—some of the most horrific crimes of genocide and starvation in modern history." The movement also urged "all free people of the world to intensify pressure and activities rejecting the Zionist war of extermination against our people."
