Clearing her equation and relationship status with Ness Wadia, Ameesha tola Filmy Mantra, 'Ness and I are family friends of three generations. His grandfather, our parents and now us—we all belong to the same South Bombay circle. These rumours probably came in because Ness is good-looking, eligible, and so am I. People just assumed we were a couple.' Sharing her friendship with Ness is still quit intact, Ameesha said, 'In fact, Ness's father is the reason I got into Cathedral School. Our families used to go on Christmas holidays together. There are even childhood pictures of us together.' When asked if they ever dated, she clearly said, 'No, no, no.' Ameesha talked about another headline-making rumour of her and Ranbir Kapoor's relationship. The Gadar 2 actress made it clear that it all started when they were often captured together at high-profile parties. 'There was a year when we were together at a lot of function —sometimes at Ranbir's house, the RK bungalow, or watching the World Cup with mutual friends like Saif. There are many pictures from that time which went viral.' She said.
Revealing how not just Ranbir and her, but also their families used to get along so well. 'Raj Kapoor gave kandha at my grandfather's arthi. Rishi uncle, Babita ji, my parents—they were all friends during their dating phase. We've been connected to the Kapoor family for years.' She said.
Ameesha further stated that people assumed they were together only because they were 'single' and 'good looking'. Taking all these rumours on a lighter tone , Ameesha revealed, 'Be it Ness, Salman, or Ranbir— at least the people I've been linked with are nice! But none of it was true.'
