Western Carriers shares jump 6% on ₹230 crore order from Jindal Stainless

Shares of Western Carriers (India) Limited rose another 6 per cent on Friday, on securing a work order from Jindal Stainless Limited for the second straight day.
The logistics solution provider's stock rose as much as 5.75 per cent during the day to ₹121 per share, the highest level since January 6 this year. The stock pared gains to trade 3.3 per cent higher at ₹118.2 apiece, compared to a 0.05 per cent advance in Nifty 50 as of 10:22 AM. This rally comes a day after the stock rallied as much as 11 per cent on Thursday.
Shares of the company extended gains to their sixth straight day on Friday, gaining nearly 15 per cent in the process. From its April lows, the stock has surged nearly 72 per cent. The counter has risen 7.8 per cent this year, compared to an 8.12 per cent advance in the benchmark Nifty 50. Western Carriers bags work order from Jindal Stainless
The company secured a ₹230 crore work order from Jindal Stainless for a three-year integrated EXIM logistics contract, according to an exchange filing on Thursday.
The deal includes rail transportation of containers from various ports to JSL's plant siding, customs clearance at its Jajpur facility, return movement of empty and export-laden containers, and last-mile delivery to designated container freight stations or shipping line yards, it said.
Securing this prestigious contract from Jindal Stainless Limited is a strong endorsement of Western Carriers' proven execution capabilities and trusted partnership, said Rajendra Sethia, chairman and managing director, Western Carriers. "These back-to-back significant orders not only
highlight our operational excellence but also reaffirm our strategic position as a preferred end-to-end logistics partner for India's leading industrial houses."
On Wednesday, the company said that it secured an ₹558 crore work order from Jindal Stainless for the transportation of slabs, coils, and sheet plates in DSO containers to various destinations across India. Earlier this month, it received a work order worth about ₹27.73 crore from Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) for hiring and trip basis of trailers for container movement inside the JSL plant in Jajpur.

NEW DELHI: Home First Finance Company India has reported a growth of 35.47 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Its profit after tax stood at ₹118.89 crore in Q1 FY26 as against ₹87.76 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing. The company's net consolidated total income stood at ₹455.26 crore in Q1 FY26, a growth of 33.38 per cent from ₹341.32 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year. Assets under management (AUM) grew by 28.6% year-on-year to ₹13,479 crore, disbursements grew by seven per cent to 1,243 crore, ROA was 3.7%, gross non-performing assets (NPA) was at 1.8% and cost to income was 34.2%. ECL provision as on June 30, 2025 is ₹90 crore, resulting in total provision to loans outstanding ratio at 0.8% and the GNPA to total provision coverage ratio (PCR) is at 43.1% as of June 30, 2025 vs 46.6% as of March 31, 2025. Manoj Viswanathan , MD & CEO said, 'Q1 FY26 saw consistent business delivery with assets under management (AUM) growing to ₹13,479 crore, registering a growth of a 28.6% year-on-year and 6.0% quarter-on-quarter. The key highlight from the quarter was the successful QIP of ₹1,250 crore and a subsequent upgrade of our long-term credit rating to AA (Stable) by ICRA, IndRa and CARE. This capital infusion augments HomeFirst's capital base and further strengthens our ability to expand our footprint, deepen customer engagement, and deliver sustained value to all stakeholders. Q1FY26 Disbursements, at ₹1,243 Cr, was in line with expectations for Q1. We continue to expand our distribution reach; we added 3 new physical branches during the quarter taking the total branch count to 158." Total CRAR was at 49.6%. Tier I capital stands at 49.2% as on June 30, 2025. The company's net worth as on June 30, 2025 was at ₹3,855 crore. Total borrowings including debt securities are at ₹9,674 crore as on June 30, 2025. The company continues to carry a liquidity of ₹3,379 crore as of June 30, 2025. Cost of borrowings was at 8.4%.

NEW DELHI: Mahindra Lifespace Developers (MLDL), the real estate and infrastructure development business of the Mahindra Group , has reported net consolidated profit after tax of ₹51.26 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2025. It had registered profit after tax of ₹12.74 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing. The company's net consolidated total income stood at ₹40.61 crore in Q1 FY26, a dip of 80.25 per cent from ₹206.70 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year. Amit Kumar Sinha , managing director & CEO of the company said, 'We started the year well with a successful Rights issue in Q1, that has further improved our Balance sheet. We are continuing BD momentum with GDV additions of Rs 3,500 crore. Our residential sales have been lower as we await certain approvals, however, we have several launches planned in the subsequent quarters. Our IC&IC business has been firing on all cylinders, clocking healthy leasing activity across Jaipur and Chennai.' During the quarter ended June 30, 2025, the company successfully completed a rights issue of 5,81,53,156 equity shares of face value of ₹10 each for a cash price at ₹257 per share, aggregating to ₹1,49,454 lakhs. The funds are being utilised for the repayment of the debt funding acquisition of land parcels and working capital. As on June 30, 2025, the company's net worth stood at ₹3,432.83 crore, debt-equity ratio was 0.19, current liability ratio was 0.94, total debts to total assets was 0.09, operating margin -172.10% and net profit margin was 160.34%. It consolidated sales stood at ₹569 crore, gross development value (GDV) additions in Q1 FY26 were at ₹3,500 crore as against ₹1,400 crore in Q1 FY25. It recorded residential pre-sales of ₹449 crore in Q1 FY26 as compared to ₹1,019 crore in Q1 FY25.

NEW DELHI: Arkade Developers a has reported a decline of 4.83 per cent in its net consolidated profit during the quarter ended June 30, 2025. Its profit after tax stood at ₹28.75 crore in Q1 FY26 as against ₹30.21 crore it registered in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a BSE filing. The company's net consolidated total income stood at ₹165.22 crore in Q1 FY26, a growth of 31.64 per cent from ₹125.51 crore it recorded in the similar quarter last year. Amit Jain, chairman and managing director of the company said, " We are pleased to report a healthy year-on-year growth, with pre-sales increasing by 17.1% and collections rising by 41.8%.Additionally, we announced a maiden interim dividend for our shareholders, and this underscores the company's strong financial health and investor-focused approach." The board of the directors recommended a maiden interim dividend of 10%. Promoter Amit M Jain and whole-time directors Sandeep Jain and Arpit Jain forgo dividend.
