Everything you need to know about the WeHo Pride Parade
Here's the deal: The L.A. Pride Parade, the long-running LGBTQ+ event produced by Christopher Street West that traces its history back to the 1970s, moved east into Hollywood starting in 2022.
Meanwhile, back at the event's familiar location from the past few decades, West Hollywood now stages its own inclusive festival, WeHo Pride, complete with a parade that draws tens of thousands of spectators and a ticketed music festival, OUTLOUD, at West Hollywood Park (which will follow a free Friday-night concert headlined by Maren Morris).
Here we'll be focusing on the WeHo Pride Parade—but if you want info on L.A. Pride, we have a separate guide dedicated to that fest. Each one takes over a separate weekend, so you thankfully won't have to choose one over the other. With that bit of intro info out of the way, here's everything else you need to know about this year's WeHo Pride Parade.
When is the WeHo Pride Parade?
The WeHo Pride Parade will be held on Sunday, June 1 (the day after the Dyke March and Women's Freedom Festival and amid the ongoing street fair and OUTLOUD fest).
When does it start?
This year's parade kicks off at noon at Santa Monica Boulevard and North Crescent Heights Boulevard.
Who are the special guests?
Model and actor Cara Delevingne tops this year's list of WeHo Pride Parade Icons, and the Guardian Icon will be joined by actress Nava Mau (Trailblazer Icon), Love on the Spectrum star Pari Kim (Next Gen Icon) and former NFL player Chris Kluwe (Ally Icon). The Parade Icons are chosen for their contributions to the LGBTQ+ community, visibility and advocacy.
Where can I watch the parade?
The parade runs along Santa Monica Boulevard, starting at North Crescent Heights Boulevard and then heading west to North San Vicente Boulevard, right near West Hollywood Park, so find a spot anywhere along the route to see the floats, performances and special guests pass by.
If you can't make it in person, KTLA 5 will air a special two-hour broadcast of the parade at 8pm on Sunday night. You can also stream it via KTLA+, the station's app.
What street closures will be in place?
Between the parade and the street fair, you can expect shutdowns on stretches of Robertson, Santa Monica and San Vicente Boulevards all weekend. Here's the full list of street closures:
– N San Vicente Blvd from Melrose Ave to Santa Monica Blvd (Thu, May 29, at 7pm through Mon, June 2, at 10am)
– Santa Monica Blvd from N La Cienega Blvd to N Doheny Drive (Fri, May 30, at noon through Mon, June 2, at 7am)

Poppy Delevingne welcomes baby girl Kaia Moon with billionaire BF Archie Keswick
Poppy Delevingne has welcomed her first child with her partner Archie Keswick. The model, 39, and the billionaire businessman, 44, who went public with their relationship last June, shared their happy news to Instagram on Friday. Uploading a black and white snap of her clutching her baby girl's hand, Poppy wrote: '20.05.25 The stars aligned, & then there was you.' Revealing her daughter's name, she continued: 'KAIA MOON KESWICK. Welcome to the world, baby bear. You have our hearts, our everything.' Poppy announced in January that she was expecting her first child, a baby girl, with her partner, Archie. The socialite said becoming a mother is 'all I've ever wanted,' as she shared the happy news with Elle magazine. Poppy first discovered she was pregnant during London Fashion Week when, during a fitting for a Burberry show, she noticed her clothes were tighter than usual. Sensing something was different she took a pregnancy test shortly after and then learned she was expecting a daughter. Speaking to ELLE UK in January, she said: 'Obviously, I would have been fine with either, and when I was younger, I always thought when I get pregnant, I wouldn't find out, but the second we got told we could find out, we did. 'I'm so excited. I come from all girls, we're very girl-heavy. Girls are great.' Poppy's sisters, model Cara, 32, and socialite Chloe, 39, were both delighted when she told them the news. She said: 'We were all in New York, with each other and with the bump, and there was a lot of talking to the bump, stroking the bump. They're just elated.' Poppy and Archie kept the news of their pregnancy to themselves for a while and only told friends and family around the four-month mark. The model previously admitted she was 'really nervous' about her pregnancy and wanted to 'protect' it for a while. She explained: 'It just feels like such an extraordinary privilege to be able to do this, to be able to have a baby at this age and at this time, and when it happened, I couldn't really believe it.' Sweet: She revealed her daughter's name in the post Poppy has long wanted to start a family of her own, but admitted in recent years she thought it might not happen for her and had 'made peace with it'. Poppy and Archie went public with their romance in July 2024, when they attended BST Hyde Park festival together. Archie is the son of Simon Keswick, former director of the multi-billion pound Hong Kong conglomerate Jardine Matheson - owner of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. The family has a private fortune of $8.6bn, according to the Sunday Times Rich List, and owns an 18,000-acre estate in Angus. Now the group's interests range from prime Hong Kong real estate and brands, including the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, to Vietnam's largest dairy producer. Archie was previously described as a 'demon on the tennis court' who 'loves house music' by Tatler. The Eton-educated businessman was named as one of the world's most eligible bachelors back in 2019. Archie is no stranger to a high-profile relationship. He previously dated actress Sienna Miller, 43, who once lived with Poppy in New York. He was linked to Sienna after reportedly being friends for years. The actress is now in a relationship with model Oli Green, 28, and they welcomed a daughter in December 2023. Poppy was previously married to James Cook. While neither addressed the break-up publicly, they are said to have called time on their union after eight years in 2022.

X Factor and Union J star Jaymi Hensley cancels Pride show a year after his fiancé's shock death
X Factor star Jaymi Hensley has announced has pulled out of his upcoming show at Pride nearly a year after his fiancé's sudden death. Union J's Jaymi, 35, who rose to fame as a member the boyband in 2012, was set to appear as a solo artist at Worthing Pride but has had to cancel his gig. He took to Instagram on Saturday to announce the cancellation and explained that the reason behind it was 'personal'. Jaymi said: 'Guys I'm really sorry for those who were coming to see me but for personal reasons I'm unable to perform at Worthing Pride tomorrow. 'I really hope you understand I never cancel unless it absolutely necessary.' Jaymi did not add any further details on why he had pulled out of the performance at the LGBTQ + event. Last year, Jaymi's fiancé Oliver Marmon, 33, lost his life after plummeting from a window at Hind Hotel in Wellingborough, Northampton. Jaymi, who was cleared by police after reportedly being arrested on suspicion of murder following Oliver's sudden death, thanked his fans for all the 'love, messages and prayers' sent to him after the loss of his much-loved fiancé. The statement issued to MailOnline read: 'Jaymi Hensley would like to thank all the love, messages and prayers sent to him over the loss of his beautiful fiancé Oliver Marmon. 'At this time the family would like the media to respect the privacy of Jaymi and Oliver's family while they mourn the loss of Oliver.' In September 2023, Jaymi reminisced on his long-lasting relationship with Oliver and looked forward to their upcoming wedding, which was due to happen the next month. On Instagram, he wrote: '14 years together and one year until 'I do.' 'Happy Anniversary @ollymarmon! I think of many beautiful quotes when I think of our relationship so far but one that really sums it all up for me is from her Late Majesty QE2, 'He has, quite simply, been my strength and stay all these years.' 'I love you irrevocably and so excited that in 365 days we will finally be Mr & Mr.' The couple, who have been engaged since 2014, were excitedly looking ahead to their future before the tragedy occurred. Oliver shared a poignant Instagram post on July 21 of the pair smiling on holiday in Norway, commenting on their upcoming nuptials. He said: 'Norway! you were epic! Over and out! round 2 on Arvia Mediterranean bound. Best week with my man and 9 weeks and counting until we say I do!' His final post on the social media platform came seven days later and pictured him and Jaymi in Marseille, France, with the caption: 'Bonjour de Marseille.' Detectives launched a murder investigation after paramedics and police officers battled to save Oliver's life but he was pronounced dead at the scene an hour later. Jaymi was released without charge and the case into the tragedy has been closed after a forensic post-mortem examination carried out at Leicester Royal Infirmary 'did not support' Oliver's death as homicide, police said. Jaymi was one of the founding members of Union J, although they auditioned as a trio called Triple J. But the judges added George Shelley, and the group was renamed Union J. The four-member band came fifth in the competition, which won by solo singer James Arthur - beating Rylan into fifth. The group signed to Sony Music subsidiary RCA Records, and released their debut single 'Carry You' in June 2013. Their self-titled debut studio album was then released in October 2013 and peaked at number 6 on the UK Albums Chart. George left the group in 2016 before Josh followed two years later - leaving Jaymi and JJ as a duo. The pair officially disbanded in 2019. They announced a reunion show at London Palladium in 2022 to celebrate Union J's 10th anniversary and a comeback tour but Jaymi quit ahead of the gig.
