Marcus Rashford says Barcelona ‘feels like home' after completing loan move
'I want to win the biggest trophies and feel like Barcelona is a huge club in the football world so it is the perfect place,' Rashford said in a press conference.
'You see with the team last season, they have a young ambitious team and I want to add my qualities, my personality, improve the team and help them win…
'(It was) not difficult. I was clear on my preference from the beginning. Actually from maybe in January. It didn't work out in January so I went to Aston Villa and enjoyed a good period there. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to play there.
'The summer came around very quickly, it was time to make another decision. My choice was easy. It's a family club, something I'm used to from my past.
'It feels like home. I feel I made the right decision. I'm excited to get going and eager to play the first game in front of the fans.'
The 27-year-old came through the ranks at United but has not added to his 426 first-team appearances for the club since being hauled off in a Europa League match away to Viktoria Plzen on December 12.

Along with Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, Rashford had been training away from Ruben Amorim's first-team squad since pre-season began as they explored their options in the transfer market.
Asked about United during his unveiling in Barcelona, Rashford said: 'The situation with United is the club is in a period of change and they have been for a while. I don't have anything bad to say about Manchester United as it has been an important part not only in my career but my life.
'I was grateful for the opportunity to play for them. But football is like life – not everything goes as simply as you thought and this is my next chapter. I'm fully focused on this and trying to improve myself and helping the team win trophies.
'I don't have anything bad to say about United. I wish them all the best and hope they are successful in the future.'

Rashford departs 23rd in United's all-time appearance list and as their 15th-highest scorer with 138 goals, having notched a brace on his February 2016 debut against FC Midtjylland in the Europa League.
He won five major trophies with his boyhood club and was crowned their player of the year in 2022-23 after scoring a career-high 30 goals, which saw him rewarded with a reported £325,000-a-week deal until 2028.
The Premier League club said: 'Everyone at Manchester United wishes Marcus good luck for the season.'
Rashford, who scored 17 goals in 62 England appearances, will hope the move boosts his chances of going to next summer's World Cup.

The Magpies lost out on Ekitike to Liverpool and need to replace Callum Wilson, even if Alexander Isak stays put. They are moving for Sesko and it appears to be a straight shoot-out with United, who are also interested. Local newspaper Leipziger Volkszeitung says Sesko's agent is in talks with both Newcastle and United and it could come down to the choice of the Slovenian. In that case, Sesko would 'undoubtedly' pick Ruben Amorim's side, despite the fact they can't offer any European football and Newcastle are in the Champions League. Lammens keen on transfer Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens is keen on a move to Manchester United. Lammens is one of the players United are considering after a difficult campaign for Andre Onana, while Altay Bayindir didn't convince when he got a chance either. Ambitious moves for Aston Villa's Emi Martinez and Paris Saint-Germain's Gianluigi Donnarumma have gone nowhere, but Lammens is available for €15-20million (£13-17m). Manchester City star Jack Grealish could be set for a switch to a Premier League rival, according to a report. Grealish's time with City looks set to come to an end this summer after he was left out of their 27-man Club World Cup squad last month. Everton sell women's team to parent company to boost transfer funds
Everton have sold their women's team to a parent company in a move that should generate a paper profit of tens of millions of pounds that could help the club make new signings and still comply with the Premier League 's Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR). Companies House shows that Everton Football Club Women Ltd has been transferred to a company called Roundhouse Capital Holdings, which records show is controlled by Everton's owner, Dan Friedkin, the American businessman. Roundhouse is the company that The Friedkin Group used to buy Everton during its takeover in December. Club insiders say the move is to ensure the women's team is a standalone entity that can attract its own investment from the United States, but accept that the profit will help with PSR compliance. Everton are the third Premier League club to take advantage of a law that allows clubs to sell assets such as the women's team to related companies and register that as a profit for PSR calculations. Chelsea and Aston Villa have done the same, but, significantly, they breached Uefa's financial rules as the European body does not permit such practices. The Premier League insists it is not a loophole because it carries out rigorous fair value assessments of such 'sales'. Nevertheless it has failed on three occasions to persuade member clubs to change the rules to prevent such practices. Everton have previously been deducted six points for a PSR breach in the 2021-22 season and two points for a breach in 2022-23. Kieran Maguire, a football finance author who works at the University of Liverpool, said: 'Everton have transferred their women's club to a holding company under the same ownership, and will be able to use the profit generated from that to help comply with PSR.' Maguire said that given Chelsea sold their women's team for £200million, ten times their annual revenue, then Everton could put a value of £60million on their women's team.
