Vijayawada: The Hans India Technical Education Awards-2025 presentation programme held at Sidhartha Engineering College in Vijayawada is a nice programme and students should be involved in the programme to promote them, observed Godavari Global University Registrar Dr PMMS Sarma.
Speaking to Hans India, the registrar said such awards presentation programmes will inspire students in a big way.
Sharing his opinion, Deputy Director of Admissions of the same University described the programme as an innovative programme. He said the Godavari Global University has collaboration with several international companies which helps students to acquire skills as per industry needs and to get good placements.
Dr Kishore Kumar of Annamacharya University of Rajampet opined that such programmes will help students to get information at one centre. He said the awards presentation also ignite the spirit of students to acquire knowledge as per demand.
QIS College of Engineering and technology, Ongole, Dean Academic Dr R Satya Meher opined that the Hans India awards presentation is very good and students should be involved as it will help students in a big way.

Bengaluru: Karnataka's flagship dairy brand Nandini has made significant gains in the Brand Finance India 100 – 2025 rankings, moving up five spots to the 38th position. The brand, owned by Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), has also retained its fourth place in the competitive food & beverages category, standing alongside national giants like Amul (1), Mother Dairy (2), and Britannia (3). According to Brand Finance, a global brand valuation consultancy headquartered in London, Nandini's brand valuation rose to $1,079 million this year, marking a $139 million increase from 2024. The annual rankings assess the financial strength and brand value of over 6,000 companies globally using original market research and sector-specific reports. A brand's value, the report notes, is calculated based on brand strength, customer loyalty, market share, and overall brand equity. High-ranking brands typically enjoy strong perception, consistent performance, and deep consumer trust. New Delhi: The Central Electricity Authority, under the aegis of Union Ministry of Power, recently organised the 'Electrical Safety Day – 2025' in collaboration with power distribution companies of BSES. The Electrical Safety Day served as a reminder of India's commitment to creating a zero-harm electrical ecosystem that evolves in tandem with the country's clean and smart energy ambitions. The event was held in New Delhi. This year's theme, 'Smart Energy, Safe Nation', underscored the need to embed safety into every facet of India's modernising energy journey, especially in the context of emerging technologies like Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure, and Rooftop Solar. With the increasing electrification and decentralisation of power systems, the associated risks have multiplied, making electrical safety a collective imperative. NITI Aayog Member V.K. Saraswat on Saturday appealed to the research scholars, academic institutions and entrepreneurs to play a key role in building a self-reliant India as the Centre has increased spending on Research and Development to over ₹1.27 lakh crore under the mission Viksit Bharat-2047. Mr. Saraswat has delivered a keynote address during the inaugural session of the two-day national seminar on 'Leveraging Research and Innovation for Viksit Bharat@2047' at Godavari Global University here on Saturday. Mr. Saraswat has stated; 'Viksit Bharat-2047 is not just a dream, but it is a shared responsibility of every India'. In his address, Vice Chairman of All India Council of Technical Education Abhay Jere has observed that research and innovation are keys to transforming India into a knowledge economy through higher education institutions.
