Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper booed by entire crowd for 'horrendous' performance at Cubs game
Cooper was given the honor of singing 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' as the Cubs played the Cardinals, but Chicago fans hated her performance, with the podcasting mogul performing the baseball tradition in an exaggerated fashion.
'Alright Daddy Gang and Cubs fans, are you ready?,' she asked the crowd, before beginning her rendition and earning the scorn of the Wrigley crowd.
She started laughing at one point in the performance, while she finished off the act by having two of her 'Unwell' employees lift her in the air.
And fans were livid with Cooper.
'She made a complete mockery out of the song. Leading the Stretch at Wrigley is an honor, and this was insulting,' one wrote on X.

'You have the opportunity to do something so exciting and memorable at a historical ballpark and this is what you do….ohmygod,' another said.
'Horrendous,' a third chimed in.
'She has always been painfully unfunny & her show is emblematic of so much that's wrong in our society and culture,' a fourth said of the podcaster.
And a fifth succinctly stated: 'The 7th inning stretch is for the fans, and Alex made it all about herself.'
Ultimately, Cooper's performance was likely forgotten by fans in attendance as Chicago beat their St. Louis rivals 11-0 to win the series.
No team other than the Dodgers (56-35) has a better record than the Cubs (54-36).
Cooper's name was in the news last month after she claimed her former Boston University soccer coach Nancy Feldman sexually harassed her.
The allegations from Cooper, who played at the school from 2013-15, were revealed in her new Hulu documentary, 'Call Me Alex,' at the start of June
The University later responded Cooper's claims and insisted they 'remain committed to fostering a safe and secure campus environment'.
A letter defending Feldman was later signed by 99 women's soccer alums of the school.
However, former BU player Sophia Woodland told PEOPLE that Feldman was a 'manipulator.
'The first word that comes to mind is just 'horrible,' she said. 'She is awful. She, I think, puts on a really good front.'

Tom Brady spotted in Donald Trump's luxury suite at Club World Cup final amid Sofia Vergara fling rumors
Tom Brady joined Donald Trump in his Club World Cup final luxury suite on Sunday as the president watched Chelsea beat PSG 3-0. The NFL icon could be seen walking on the MetLife Stadium sideline before the game with Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Fanatics founder Michael Rubin. But he also made his way into Trump's suite at one point, with the Commander-in-Chief seen in the background of one photo as Brady had a conversation. Brady caused controversy in 2015 when a 'Make America Great Again' hat was spotted in his locker, and he later called Trump a 'good friend' during an appearance that year on WEEI. However, he declined to answer in a press conference when asked if he was in support of Trump's first run for office. In 2022, he told Variety that the pair hadn't spoken in 'a lot of years,' and that the nature of their relationship had been 'mischaracterized' by the media. Kraft, meanwhile, has said that he was previously a 'social friend' of Trump's and donated to his first inauguration. However, he revealed on The Breakfast Club last year that he had also ceased contact with the president. 'I will say this: I was very upset [with] what happened January 6,' Kraft said. 'And I haven't talked to him since then.' During the game, Brady was seen sitting next to Rubin as Chelsea produced a rampant first half to take a 3-0 lead before the break, via two Cole Palmer goals and a goal from Joao Pedro (which was assisted by Palmer as well). Trump's Marine One helicopter was seen touching down near the stadium roughly 35 minutes before the game. The chopper arrived at Teterboro Airport before Trump got in a motorcade to take him to East Rutherford for the match, which he attended with first lady Melania Trump. Trump was also seen watching the match with FIFA president Gianni Infantino. Trump's son, Donald Jr., and his girlfriend Bettina Anderson were also seen headed to the game, as was the president's son-in-law, Jared Kushner. Brady 's appearance at the game came amid reports that he had been enjoying a 'summer romance' with actress Sofia Vergara. The pair were first seen spending time together on Ritz-Carlton's superyacht 'Luminara' off the Italian coast after Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez 's wedding. The NFL legend was said to have specifically requested to sit next to the actress at dinner during the exclusive two-day voyage (which was part of the wedding celebrations) - and the pair spent time together in Ibiza afterwards. But the Daily Mail later revealed that the pair are not officially dating, and that 47-year-old Brady wishes to stay single. Brady has been divorced from his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen since October 2022, when their 13 years of marriage came to an end. T Vergara, meanwhile, is also newly single following her divorce from Joe Manganiello in 2024.

Chelsea 3 PSG 1: Cole Palmer produces three moments of magic as Blues destroy European champions to win Club World Cup
COLE PALMER has done something no other man has - upstaged Donald Trump. Where Kier Starmer, Volodymyr Zelensky and even Vladimir Putin have failed, a spindly kid from Manchester succeeded and put America's caricature President in the shade. 10 10 10 10 Two magical goals and an equally masterful assist had victory in the bag for Chelsea two minutes before half time. Against a team considered untouchable. Big Bad Don was watching from under cover in the VIP section of the Met Life Stadium in New Jersey. Not a traditional football venue but one that will host next summer's World Cup Final. Few without an allegiance to Stamford Bridge will have been rooting for Palmer in blue here yesterday afternoon - but think ahead to July 19 next year when he may well be doing it in the white of England. It's a tantalising image even if we must keep a little calm and remember this is a glorified summer kickabout dreamed up by Fifa boss Gianni Infantino as a willy waving exercise and a counter to the expansion of European competition by Uefa. Nonetheless, poster boy Palmer has adorned every advertising hoarding, social media meme and electronic billboard these past four weeks. And like a true star he kept his audience waiting until the very end for the piece de resistance to his magical show. Two classy goals and an artistic assist had European champions Paris Saint-Germain beaten not long after the first mandatory hydration break as they are referred to here in the sweltering suburbs of New York. With Palmer leading the way, Chelsea did to PSG what PSG did to Real Madrid in the semi final and smashed them at full speed under a burning sun, where a lad from Wythenshawe would have been expected to wilt. Join SUN CLUB for the Chelsea Files every Tuesday plus in-depth coverage and exclusives from Stamford Bridge Instead he produced three magic moments like three lighting counter punches in a world title fight. And PSG with all their hipster credentials were on the ropes. The French had only conceded one goal during the entire competition prior to meeting Chelsea. Fans say football's 'never been further gone' as Coldplay make shock appearance at Club World Cup half-time show The talk was of two, three, four nil to Luis Enrique's rampant Champions League winners early doors. But for all their undoubted talent, they clearly aren't very clever. Palmer had made it patently obvious where he was going to be shooting at. Much like Trump did with Iran. They can't say they weren't warned. After only eight minutes Chelsea's most naturally gifted player shaved Gianluigi Donnarumma's right hand with a left foot curler. Just fourteen minutes later he found the net for the first time from the same spot. The only difference? He went low instead of high. Is it really so easy to bamboozle the runaway champions of Europe? Because another eight minutes on and he did it again. The lofted ball out of defence by Trevoh Chalobah set him free. Palmer's top and check on the 18 yard line was the stuff of instinct. Up there with Lionel Messi. It was enough to put defender Lucas Beraldo on his backside and Palmer chose the same place to plunder number two. And with three minutes to go until half time, he showed the confidence to exquisitely chip the PSG defence. The kind of weighted lob that a golfer like Trump would have appreciated. The Club World Cup has been something of a political plaything. Infantino was purring that having rented office space at Trump Towers in Manhattan this week, his new bestie was coming along to watch the soccer as they call it over here. But after this masterclass from a young bloke of few words who does all the talking in shorts and boots, there is an argument for who is the most powerful man in the world. Palmer played his part in a supreme and unlikely team effort that upset the odds. Keeper Robert Sanchez stepped up when required with some cracking saves - all in-front of Coldplay, who performed during the very American half-time show. 10 10 PSG made it even harder for themselves to mount a comeback when João Neves was sent off for pulling the hair of Marc Cucurella. But now Chelsea are world champions. Whether they are the best team in the world is an argument to be had. They were only the fourth best team in England last season, so Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City alone might claim to be ahead of them in that particular queue. They were invited along for having won the Champions League four years ago. The season before last they weren't in Europe at all. They have blown more than a billion quid on players and at Christmas time they lost to Ipswich. Now the boys from Kings Road in London are kings of the world and a handy £97 million better off. And even Donald Trump knows who Cole Palmer is.
