Designed to instantly give your outdoor space a sense of privacy without the hassle or cost of permanent fencing.
the Black Mesh Fabric Privacy Fence Screen is winning over customers with its easy install, tough build, and low price.
Whether you're dealing with nosy neighbors, nearby schools, or just want to block off a messy side yard, this budget-friendly backyard hero is exactly what you need to cozy up your space and cut out the chaos.
And the best part is there's no tools or digging required.
According to the retailer, this mesh screen works by attaching to your existing fence, railing, or structure using integrated button holes, which is a clever alternative to the usual grommets that gives you more flexibility and a neater finish.
Just loop through with zip ties or twine and you're good to go.
The screen comes in a generous 50-foot roll, standing at 68 inches tall, so it's tall enough to offer serious visual coverage without overwhelming your outdoor aesthetic.
It's made from heavy-duty, mold and mildew-resistant fabric, meaning it's built to withstand the elements and look good doing it.
Shoppers say it's not only ideal for home use but also comes in handy for events, construction sites, pet areas, and even community gardens.
It's basically a multi-use, low-maintenance solution for just about any space where you want privacy fast and don't want to spend a fortune getting it.
Affordable No-Dig Privacy Fences: Transform Your Backyard Oasis
One impressed reviewer wrote: 'This is exactly what we wanted and needed. We live by a school and wanted some privacy – this worked perfectly!"
Another added: 'Very simple to install and seems durable. I like the button holes instead of the grommets so that you have options to customize to your area.'
Others raved about how it transformed their space: 'The mesh was very easy to hang, gave our area the privacy we were looking for.'
Even if you're not looking to block out the neighbors, it's also a clever way to cover up eyesores, whether that's trash cans, compost bins, or unfinished corners of your yard.
Think of it as the quickest, easiest facelift your outdoor area could ask for.
And if you're on a tight budget, you can pay in installments, making it even more accessible for renters, DIYers, and first-time homeowners.
It also comes with a 5-year UV warranty, so you won't have to worry about it fading or wearing out under the summer sun anytime soon.
At just under 50 bucks, this simple screen is selling fast, especially as more people look for affordable ways to upgrade their outdoor space without calling a contractor.
How high can a garden fence be?
Despite what many people think a garden fence can be as high as 100m but you need to get planning permission for any fence taller than 2m.
Any fence under 2m does not need planning permission.
However, there are some complications to this.
If you are thinking about front garden fences, restrictions state that fences alongside a driveway can be a maximum of 1m or 3ft.
You would need to get planning permission for putting a trellis on a fence of 2m.
But, if any plant that you grow on that trellis exceeds 2m, you do not need to obtain a permit for the growing plant.
HOW DOES IT HOLD UP TO COMPETITORS?
Though the consensus over the fence seemingly leans towards the positive, that doesn't mean it's devoid of some heavy competition.
For example, The Home Depot's also sells a Vevor no-dig privacy fence, which has a slight price point advantage.
The big box chain's version sells for $44.99, a few dollars less than the latter retailer.
Amazon is also selling a multi-purpose privacy fence for £49.99.
The Lilypelle two-panel 48-in x 48-in privacy fence is made from solid, sturdy pine, a wood known for its versatility and aesthetic qualities.
Its uses can range from protecting (or even hiding) behemoths like cumbersome AC units to shielding your backyard paradise from unwanted onlookers.
It also comes equipped with metal stakes that can be wedged 10 inches into the ground, allowing the fence the ability to withstand high winds.
According to Excelia's product page, the initial price for the fence is listed at slightly over $105 – a 53% markdown from the original cost.
But the Home Depot buy does work out slightly cheaper and gives you more bang for your buck, measuring at 68-in x 50 ft.

Terrifying moment thrashing 20ft whale bashes boat throwing woman into the churning sea

A video taken by a passenger on a nearby vessel captured the ordeal, which saw the 20ft minke smash into the motor in Barnegat Bay, New Jersey on Sunday. "It was really in distress. That's when it would go under boats, it was a crazy experience," she told 6abs. After flailing around in the ocean, the animal found itself under the boat's hull. Terrifying footage shows the boat bobbing on the sea as the whale's fin jerks out just a few metres away. She was quickly pulled to safety and did not sustain any injuries. Meanwhile, the whale reportedly died. This isn't the first time a whale was caught capsizing a boat. Last year, A video taken by a pair of brothers on a nearby ship captured the terrifying ordeal, showing the exact moment a whale submerged a fishing boat near the New Hampshire coast. Brothers Colin and Wyatt Yager, both Maine natives, said they were fishing about a half-mile off the coast of Rye, New Hampshire – about 10 miles southwest of Portsmouth Harbor – when the whale first appeared. Incredible moment two giant whales 'protect' diver from bloodthirsty shark Portsmouth Harbor is located about 50 miles northeast of Boston, Massachusetts. Colin quickly took out his phone to film the whale, eager to get the sighting on camera. "I had my fishing rod right here, phone in my hand, and just saw it go up, and was just lucky enough to be facing the right direction," Colin said, as reported by ABC affiliate WMUR. Colin's brother Wyat was shocked at what happened next. "I saw it come up, and I was just like, 'Oh no, it's going to hit the boat!' and then it started to flip," Wyatt Yager said. They watched as the whale emerged from the water, crashing on top of a nearby fishing boat. The brothers jumped into action to help rescue two individuals on board, who had fallen into the water as their boat capsized. At least one of the two fishermen was wearing a lifejacket, according to reports. "When I turned, the whale's head was already landing on the engine," said fisherman Greg Paquette. "So when I saw that, then all of a sudden, I look down, the boat is pitching up, the transom is going down into the water." The other fisherman on board, Ryland Kenney, called the experience "surreal." "Everything seemed like in slow motion. It was really weird," he said. "Everyone was like, 'Oh, it was eight seconds. How'd you move so fast?' But it was almost slow motion, like a movie." 5 The incident went down Sunday off in Barnegat Bay in New Jersey Credit: Facebook/Kim Mancini

Pilot ‘didn't send mayday call' before plane vanished without a trace as search for missing couple on board continues

Pilot was 'very experienced' but plane was 'new to him' after buying it just months ago PLANE MYSTERY Pilot 'didn't send mayday call' before plane vanished without a trace as search for missing couple on board continues Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A PILOT flying off Australia with his partner and their dog reportedly failed to contact authorities before their plane disappeared. The two-seater aircraft took off from George Town in Northern Tasmania on Saturday afternoon. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 5 An Australian Maritime Safety Authority search aircraft reportedly deployed to search for the plane Credit: Australian Maritime Safety Authority 5 The plane took off from George Town in Northern Tasmania on Saturday afternoon Credit: Google Maps 5 On board was a man in his 70s, a female passenger in her 60s, and their dog, but none have been seen or heard from since. The plane was set to stop in Leongatha in southern Victoria, before continuing to on to Hillston Airport in New South Wales. But the aircraft never made it to its first stop — and no mayday call or radio contact was ever made. The Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) confirmed the pilot didn't make contact before takeoff, but added it's still investigating whether the plane disappeared before such communication was required. The move has since stunned aviation experts, with George Town flight instructor Eugene Reid telling ABC: 'You have to do scheduled reporting. 'On leaving the coast, they should have called up air services.' Compounding the mystery, the aircraft was reportedly equipped with an emergency satellite beacon, which should have triggered if anything had gone wrong — but no signal was detected. Reid also noted that local airports like George Town don't always track individual flight plans. 'If someone took their plane out of the hangar and flew away, well, you wouldn't know,' he said. The revelation has since intensified the urgency of the multi-agency search, which entered its third day on Monday. Ex- fighter pilot and son, 13, feared dead after plane crashed off Majorca as wreckage found near tourist hotspot Authorities are scouring vast stretches of northern Tasmania, the Bass Strait, and southern Victoria with helicopters, aircraft, and marine crews. They say the focus remains on finding the pair alive. Police have confirmed the couple, both Tasmanian residents, were travelling to visit family in NSW when they disappeared. AMSA confirmed the aircraft disappeared over Bass Strait after leaving George Town around 12.45pm. The alarm was raised shortly after 5pm on Saturday by concerned relatives after the pair failed to arrive in NSW. Tasmania Police Inspector Nick Clark said the pilot was 'very experienced' and a key member of the local aero club. But he added the plane itself was 'new to him,' having only been purchased three to four months ago. 'We believe he has had several flights prior to this incident,' Clark said. 'Any body of water is difficult to search. The main thing is, though, that this is still a search operation.' 5 Rescue workers are searching the area near the flight's path Credit: Australian Maritime Safety Authority 5 A Tasmania Police boat involved in the search operation Credit: ABC News: Mackenzie Heard The disappearance triggered an immediate and large-scale search effort, coordinated by AMSA. Air and marine assets from Tasmania Police, Victoria Police, and regional airline Par Avion have been combing the area. AMSA previously said: 'Just after 5pm on Saturday evening, concern was raised after the aircraft failed to land in Central Western NSW. 'Search efforts are underway across northern Tasmania around George Town, over the Bass Strait and southern Victoria around Morwell and Leongatha.' Anyone travelling near George Town, crossing Bass Strait, or along southern Victoria's coastline is urged to report any signs of wreckage to AMSA or Tasmania Police immediately. In a direct appeal to the public, Inspector Clark said: 'Keep a lookout for any debris or something as simple as a life jacket or some aeroplane parts. 'If you find people in the water and it's safe to do so, please render them assistance.' The Sun has contacted AMSA and Tasmania police for more information.
