Sonay Kartal shines in Wimbledon spotlight to clinch best grand slam result
She is in the last 16 of a grand slam for the first time in her career after a sizzling 6-4 6-2 victory.

When Jack Draper was knocked out by Marin Cilic on Thursday he admitted the expectation levels surrounding home players made him realise just how big two-time winner Andy Murray's achievements were.
But laid-back Kartal is taking all the hype in her stride as she prepares for a crack at Russian veteran Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova for a place in the quarter-finals.
'I enjoy it. I think it's an honour,' she said. 'Obviously if you've got a lot of attention on you, it means you're doing good things.
'I'm pretty calm and pretty collected. I don't think it's going to affect me too much. But no, I'm just enjoying it all. I'll still pretty young. It's my first fourth round.

'I feel like I'm going to go out on the court in the next round kind of with nothing to lose at the minute. I'm going to go swinging.
'I think the pressure that I'll feel is the pressure I will be putting on myself just wanting to perform as best as I can.'
Kartal, ranked 298 this time last year, is on the cusp of the top 50 and could even finish the tournament as British number one, usurping Emma Raducanu and Katie Boulter.
She is the fourth unseeded British woman to reach the fourth round this century after Laura Robson, Heather Watson and Raducanu.
Kartal has been shining on Court Three this week but on Friday she was first up on Court One, the scene of her defeat by Coco Gauff at the same stage last year.

She made a nervous start, falling 4-1 behind, but then won the next nine games to move a set and 4-0 up on her way to a hugely impressive victory in an hour and 22 minutes.
'I'm not going to lie, I was pretty nervous walking out there,' she added. 'It's a big court with a match that has a lot of meaning to me.
'Obviously last year, that was also in the back of my mind, losing to Coco on the same court in the same round.
'I tried to take everything I learnt from that match and put it into play on the court, tried to relax as best as I could.
'When I got it level, I felt like I was pretty good. The nerves were gone. I just felt super comfortable out there.'

Liverpool handed positive Alexander Isak transfer update - 'Only see him joining'
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak, with the Sweden international said to have asked to leave the Magpies this summer Former Liverpool star Stan Collymore has tipped Newcastle striker Alexander Isak to make the switch to Anfield this summer, claiming discussions have been ongoing for over 12 months. The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for the Swedish striker for several weeks but appeared to cool their interest when Newcastle refused to do business earlier in the window. In response, Liverpool pivoted to Hugo Ekitike, signing the French forward in a £79million deal. But now it appears Isak is pushing for an exit, with the 25-year-old telling Newcastle his wants to explore his options. As such, the door has been reopened, and Liverpool could be set to pounce. Isak has opted out of Newcastle's pre-season tour of Asia while his future gets sorted ahead of what could be a British transfer record departure from St James' Park. The Magpies are reportedly holding their ground, insisting on a valuation of more than £150m if they are to consider selling him. With the expected exits of Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa, combined with growing interest in Luis Diaz, Liverpool are believed to still be targeting new attackers before the transfer window closes, and Isak remains their top target. Collymore, who scored 35 goals for Liverpool, is confident the move will go ahead. "I can only see Alexander Isak joining Liverpool if he does leave Newcastle, which is now expected," he wrote in his column for CaughtOffside. "I think this has been something that's been ongoing probably for 12 months or more. I think the expectation from Newcastle was that it was going to be next season that other clubs were going to bid. "A lot of fans will want him to be sold abroad, but it doesn't work like that. If the player says that they're going to down tools unless you let me go to this specific club, it's very, very difficult for the club." The addition of Ekitike pushes Liverpool's total summer outlay beyond £265m, and should Isak arrive, the overall investment would likely top £400m. Collymore explained the reasoning behind the club's aggressive spending. He continued: "With Liverpool, I know that there probably will be some room for Diaz and or Nunez to go. But still, at the moment, if they were to get Isak across the line, you've got Diaz, Gakpo, Nunez, Salah, Wirtz, Ekitike, and potentially Isak. That's six top-quality front players. "So for me, it just says that Liverpool now are realising that if they're going to stay top of the Premier League, if they're going to continue to win Champions Leagues, but more importantly, win domestic leagues in the manner that Manchester City have done, they have to accept that Man City, Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal are going to continue to spend as more and more money pours into the Premier League. And I think that FSG have realised that they've got to do the same."
