The actress and model's sudden demise due to cardiac arrest sent shockwaves across the globe and among her fans. She was rushed to the Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Mumbai but was declared dead on arrival. With a heavy heart and moist eyes, her family and friends performed her last rites on June 28 at Mumbai's Oshiwara Crematorium. Well now, television actor and Shefali's close friend, Vishal Aditya Singh, took to social media to share the last conversation he had with the actress on Wednesday, June 25. In the screenshot, we can see that the actress had planned to meet him on June 27, around 10 pm, the same day when she breathed her last. The chat began with Vishal sending a list of restaurants, including Gigi (Bandra), Ditas (Lower Parel), Slink & Bardot (Worli), Masala Library (BKC) and Amazonia (BKC). Her parents and a house help were also with her husband when she was taken to the hospital. While her postmortem report is yet to be released, it has been learnt that the 'Kaanta Laga' fame actor was also self-medicating, and was consuming anti-ageing medicines for some years, sources have confirmed. As the investigations into her death were underway, cops found two boxes of medicines at her Mumbai residence. They also learnt that on the day of her death, Shefali Jariwala had consumed stale food, and later took her anti-ageing medicines. Doctors at Mumbai's Cooper Hospital, where Shefali Jariwala's postmortem was conducted, suspect that the actor may have suffered a cardiac arrest due to self-medication, subsequently leading to her death. They also said they were waiting for the actor's viscera and blood reports to confirm the outcome of the postmortem. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police recorded Parag Tyagi's statement in the case. He said that his relationship with his wife, Shefali Jariwala, was good and that both of them respected each other. He also said it was difficult for him to come to terms with Shefali's death. Parag told the police that Shefali was physically fit but used self-medication. He also told the police that they both had travelled to Australia in May this year for a stage show. Shefali Jariwala, who shot to fame with her breakout appearance in the remix track 'Kaanta Laga' and also appeared on several reality shows, died at the age of 42 on the night of June 27. An on-duty doctor at the Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital, where she was rushed to, declared her 'brought dead' at nearly 11.15 am. The police received the information about her death at 1 am (Saturday), after which her body was sent to the civic-run Cooper Hospital for post-mortem. As the cause of death is not yet clear, the Mumbai Police registered an accidental death report (ADR) in the case. Shefali Jariwala's funeral was held at the Oshiwara Hindu crematorium on Saturday evening. Her last rites were performed by her husband, father Satish Jariwala, and younger sister Shivani Jariwala.
