Reports: BTS Involved in Secret Michael Jackson Music Project Featuring Unreleased Track
Rana Atef On Sunday, a new report by the Irish Sun claimed that trending K-pop group BTS took part in a secret music project involving a previously unreleased Michael Jackson track recorded in 2006. The song was initially intended for a new album by the late King of Pop, but the project was halted before completion. It was recorded at Grouse Lodge Studio, a converted stable in the Irish countryside, where Jackson had several recording sessions during his stay, alongside notable names like producer Rodney Jerkins and singer Ne-Yo. Studio owner Paddy Dunning recently stated that the tracks were part of a tribute album concept. For the first time, he revealed that BTS was among the 'global stars' invited to re-record some of the songs. 'We began the sessions last year,' Dunning said. 'We hosted BTS here at Grouse Lodge, where they recorded one of the tracks.' The project reportedly included around ten tracks linked to Michael Jackson, either written or developed in collaboration with his Irish-based team at the time. Presented as part of the Sitar programme, which supports emerging Saudi theatre talent, the production has already won recognition in the Kingdom.
