Al-Dameer: 54 Palestinians Still Missing Near Aid Centers in Gaza

Gaza – SABA The Palestinian human rights group Al-Dameer Foundation reported Sunday that 54 Palestinians remain missing after heading to Israeli-American aid distribution points in Gaza. The foundation said in a press statement that Israeli forces have not disclosed the fate of those individuals, and they are currently listed as missing persons. According to Safa News Agency, the number of such cases continues to rise, especially near aid zones that have become targets of frequent attacks. The organization warned that lack of safe aid distribution mechanisms is contributing directly to the increase in disappearances. It further revealed that Israeli forces are preventing retrieval of bodies from around these centers, and in some cases, resort to bulldozing them rather than allowing families or rescue teams to collect the dead. Al-Dameer also documented arbitrary detentions, including children, among those waiting for humanitarian aid. Earlier today, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced that the total number of 'Aid Victims'—civilians targeted while queuing for food—has now reached: 1,487 fatalities 10,578 injuries since May 27, 2025. These figures are part of the broader toll of Israel's ongoing war on Gaza, which, as of August 3, has killed 60,839 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and wounded 149,588 others. Thousands remain under rubble or inaccessible due to the ongoing attacks and siege on rescue efforts. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

UN Confirms Over 100 Palestinians Martyred in Two Days at Gaza Aid Distribution Points

New York – Saba: Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, stated Friday that more than 100 people were martyred and hundreds injured in Gaza over the past two days while attempting to access food at military aid distribution points. During a daily press briefing, the UN official emphasized that no one should risk their lives to obtain food, stressing the imperative to protect civilians at all costs. He called for unimpeded and sufficient aid distribution to Palestinians in Gaza, warning that months of deprivation have deepened the crisis. Haq underscored the urgent need to remove obstacles hindering aid flow into Gaza and ensure humanitarian workers can perform their duties swiftly and safely. Israeli enemy crimes against Palestinians awaiting aid in Gaza continue daily since the implementation of the "Israeli-American mechanism" supervised by the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" on May 27. Earlier Friday, Gaza's Health Ministry reported the total martyrs of the "bread queues" - aid seekers arriving at hospitals - has risen to 1,383 martyrs and over 9,218 injuries since May 27. With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has committed genocidal crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in 60,332 Palestinian civilian martyrs (mostly women and children) and 147,643 injured - incomplete figures as thousands remain trapped under rubble inaccessible to rescue teams Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
