Tennis ace Carlos Alcaraz surprises Madrid runners after Wimbledon
Alcaraz is a five-time Grand Slam champion having also won the French Open twice and US Open back in 2022.
A couple of weeks on from Wimbledon, the world No.2 surprised runners - including many Brits - by taking part in a 5k run through Madrid's largest park, Casa de Campo.
In his first public appearance as GetPRO's Chief Progress Officer, Alcaraz appeared in a pop-up office within the park, to cheer on runners and celebrate their progress as they crossed the finish line, including shouting his signature 'Vamos!'.
Alcaraz, who's fresh off another impressive season of tennis, said: 'Cheering the runners on and seeing their determination and energy up close reminded me how powerful a progress mindset can be.
'Whether it was someone's first 5K or their hundredth, every runner out there was chasing their own version of growth, and that's what this is all about..'
After the run, Carlos handed out mementos to mark their achievements, along with a range of GetPRO's high-protein snacks.
From Grand Slam glory to grassroots grit, Alcaraz continues to prove that progress isn't just about podiums. Whether you're chasing a personal best or just getting started, the message is simple: progress is personal, and worth celebrating.

Le Mans officially announced today that investment company OutField have purchased an undisclosed percentage of the club. Tennis icon Djokovic and former F1 drivers Felipe Massa and Kevin Magnussen are involved in the project. In a statement published by Le Mans, they say the 24-time Grand Slam champion's "mental strength and unique approach will bring considerable added value." On Massa and Magnussen, the club claim the duo will "create a bridge between football and motorsport – a distinctive strength of the Le Mans brand." Ex-Ferrari driver Massa raced in F1 for 15 years and is a massive fan of Brazilian club Sao Paulo supporter. Magnussen was with Haas and his father Jan is a four-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner. Opening up on his new venture, Massa said: "I think everyone knows my passion for football, which is leading me to take this step today. "Le Mans FC has a strong connection with motorsport, and when my good friend and partner Georgios Frangulis presented the project to me, I wanted to be a part of it. Newcastle receive 10-word Alexander Isak warning to leave Liverpool response non-negotiable
Alexander Isak has made it clear he wants to leave Newcastle for Liverpool this summer, but the Magpies' owners have been urged not to sell the striker Newcastle United's owners have received a firm ten-word warning to stand firm and prevent Alexander Isak from departing St James' Park. Saunders, who worked for the Magpies during Graeme Souness 's tenure, cautioned against selling Isak, saying: "It's just like punching all the supporters in the stomach." The Nigerian, who is serving as a club ambassador during the pre-season tour, said: "At the end of the day, this is football and when you are trying to mix it with the best teams, you are going to have great players that other teams want. "The thing for us is where we are at as a club, an ownership, we are really ambitious. We want to do our best for the club. They have shown that right from the get go, and that is not going to change. "There are things happening in the background. We are really keen to communicate that the club are going to do what is best for the club. He added: "Myself, being somebody who has lived this since I was a kid, it is great to see that ambition.
