HYDERABAD: Chief minister A on Wednesday directed officials to take all steps to ensure that every student who passes class 10 joins Intermediate and completes it. This should be done by identifying the challenges and addressing them through required initiatives to achieve a good pass percentage of students in the Board of Intermediate Examinations. "Conduct a study on the education policy for classes between class 9 and class 12. The Intermediate college education is crucial for the students to make a career. Proper guidance should be given to them during their college education," the CM told the officials at a review meeting of the education department held at the Command Control Centre here. Reviewing the designs and models of the Young India Residential School buildings, the CM suggested that a huge national flag be installed on the premises of every school and also instructed the officials to submit a weekly report to him on the progress of the construction of the schools. Revanth also reviewed the construction of additional buildings for Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Mahila Vishwa Vidyalayam (Women's University) and suggested several changes. The CM ordered that the tender process be completed at the earliest. Officials should pursue with the departments concerned of the Union govt to get all funds under the centrally sponsored schemes.
