Aug 04, 2025 Egypt will have a stronger presence than ever at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, with eight Egyptian critics and cultural figures joining the official voting panel. The newly appointed members include film critic Hosam Fahmy, an active voice in the Arab Cinema Center's Critics Awards. Also serving as voters are TV host, actor, and producer Mico Saad; journalist and editor Moetaz Elshafey; writer and critic Mohamed Hashem A. Tawfik; journalist and critic Mohamed Abdelgalil; film critic Wael Khairy; journalist Ramy Nawar; and Yasmine Shihata, founder and CEO of Enigma Magazine.
