I Tried The Skin-Renewing SPF Dua Lipa Takes On Holiday – And My Skin's Never Been Happier
We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, HuffPost UK may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication. As a pale, ginger Scottish person, if there's one thing that's a complete and utter non-negotiable in my skin care routine, it's a brilliant SPF. The problem is though, not all sunscreens and suncreams are created equally. Some feel greasy and seep through your make-up, others clog your pores and result in a summer of pimples that just won't quit. And then, god forbid, you accidentally buy an SPF that isn't sweat proof and you end up with a burn. If there's one person I'll trust the judgement of, however, when it comes to holiday skin care (although we should be wearing SPF all year round people!), it's the queen of vacationing herself, Dua Lipa. And fortunately, on her recent trip to Sicily, the New Rules singer gave us a glimpse of her holiday essentials – with one notable skincare product making the cut. In the background of a holiday snap of an Aperol spritz shared to Instagram, we can see Dua has been using Augustinus Bader's new SPF product, The Suncreen SPF 50. I've written before about the wonder brand that is Augustinus Bader – the skin care company whose products Dua Lipa has reported that she 'can't live without', so much so that their Eye Patches and The Rich Cream have a permanent place in her handbag. It's no surprise then that the singer has opted for the brand's latest product as her preferred sun protection. The brand has a serious celebrity fanbase – Victoria Beckham, recently collaborated with them on her own skincare line and concealer. Alexa Chung and Margot Robbie are fans of the skincare's patented TFC8® technology too – a proprietary blend of natural amino acids, high-grade vitamins and peptides that supports the body's capacity to renew. So naturally, if it's good enough for that list of stars, I was willing to try it out. The lightweight broad-spectrum sunscreen is non-greasy and fast absorbing – a welcome escape from other sticky formulas. Given that the brand markets their SPF as suncare meets skincare, it promises to protect you from UVA and UVB ray s as well as renewing your skin at the same time – both of which I found super effectively when I tried it out for myself. From having tried out (and now permanently using) Augustinus Bader's award-winning Rich Cream, I know that my skin drinks up their TFC8 blend and looks better for it – and The Sunscreen had the exact same effect. My skin looks lifted, fresher and I feel great about going make up free – and most importantly, there's no chance of my face getting burnt. I'm lazy at the best of times when it comes to my skincare routine, so having a product that does the work of a serum, a moisturiser and an SPF all in one is my kind of product. When I do wear foundation over the SPF, the sunscreen doesn't seep through – leaving my base looking flawless (if I do say so myself x) all day. Although the product comes with a hefty price tag, what I will say for The Suncreen is that a little goes a LONG way and for all the celeb hype surrounding Augustinus Bader, it certainly lives up to it!

Restaurants to Try This Weekend in Las Vegas — August 1
It's the most pressing question of the weekend: 'Where should I eat?' Here, Eater editors issue tried-and-true recommendations for places to check out this weekend. For a burger at the bar: Holstein's Janna Karel For over a decade, a hot pink cow stood watch outside Holsteins at the Cosmopolitan. The restaurant closed last year, but it's back — this time on Main Street in the Arts District — with a teal cow and a moodier, brick-and-wood interior. It's a smaller space, but still delivers the over-the-top burgers and shakes that made it a Strip staple. Slide into a circular booth or grab a bar seat and order the popular Forager Burger with a beef-mushroom blend, onion marmalade, and Swiss. My go-to is the classic: juicy, flavorful, and rich enough to stand on its own. Pair it with fries and a cookies-and-cream shake topped with a cookie sandwich and bigger than my head. For drinks and bar snacks: Nocturno Janna Karel From DJ Flores of Milpa, moody Mexico City-style bar Nocturno offers a deep list of precise, playful cocktails worth exploring. The Peach Blow Fizz, made with strawberries, channels the frothy delight of a Ramos gin fizz. A dessert cocktail of orange juice, cream, Aperol, and vanilla tastes like a grown-up Creamsicle. The food, though, is just as compelling. The prosciutto tower layers a perilous stack of crispy housemade chips and silky prosciutto, all served over a bright, herbaceous sauce that demands to be smeared on every bite. Spicy tuna arrives like a cannoli, wrapped in a crispy wonton with Calabrian chile heat. Mushroom arancini are earthy and warming, best chased with the minty Brazilian-style lemonade. For New York-style cheesecake: Junior's Janna Karel Legendary Brooklyn-based diner Junior's brings its iconic cheesecake and comfort classics to Resorts World. Breakfast is big and nostalgic — think custard-soaked French toast crusted in cereal and omelets that barely fit the plate. But lunch and dinner bring more to crave, like the brisket melt, with juicy shredded brisket, mozzarella, and sautéed onions and peppers on grilled bread, served with a glossy au jus for dipping. Skip the fries and go for the onion rings — thick-cut and deeply golden, with a satisfying crunch that gives way to tender, sweet onion. And of course, save room for cheesecake. The original is rich and creamy, but I'm partial to the one topped with a dense, fudgy brownie.

1995 'Casper' movie returning to theaters in October
1 of 5 | Christina Ricci, seen receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in March, starred in 1995's "Casper." File Photo by Jim Ruymen/UPI | License Photo Aug. 1 (UPI) -- Universal Pictures announced Friday it will rerelease Casper in October. The 1995 film returns to theaters Oct. 3 and plays through Halloween. The live-action movie stars Bill Pullman and Christina Ricci as a father and daughter who move into a haunted house. They discover the ghost Casper (voice of Malachi Pearson) is not an evil spirit at all. Devon Sawa appears as Casper's corporeal form. Ricci was 13 when the movie filmed in 1993, and Sawa was 15. Brad Silberling directed. Cathy Moriarty, Eric Idle, Ben Stein and Brad Garrett also star, with cameos from Dan Aykroyd as his Ghostbusters character, Mel Gibson, Clint Eastwood and Rodney Dangerfield. Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment produced the film, employing Industrial Light and Magic to bring the ghost effects to life. A new trailer features James Horner's score. Casper originally opened Memorial Day weekend in May 1995. Casper is based on the Harvey comics, which also inspired an animated series. Universal is also rereleasing Jaws at the end of August.
