Some of these before-after-after images are truly making me believe in miracles.
1. Anua heartleaf pore-clearing cleansing oil that dissolves makeup residue, blackheads, and excess sebum *without* clogging pores or over-drying skin. Reviewers say that they could actually see the oils and gunk leaving their face — kinda gross, very satisfying, and a major slay.
BTW, a lot of reviewers say they use this as part of their double cleansing routine. As the name implies, double cleansing is a method of cleansing your face twice: first with an oil-based cleanser, and again with a water-based cleanser to help get all the yucky stuff out of your pores.
Promising review:"This is my first time ordering an oil-based cleanser and I'm so glad I purchased this one. I originally saw this product on TikTok and wanted to see what the hype was all about. After using the cleanser on my dry face for 2–3 minutes, I could visibly see my white- and blackheads on my fingers. I was a little hesitant to try oil cleansing because I have acne-prone skin, however, my face has never looked better. After each use, my face is as soft as a baby's bottom and my scarring doesn't look as deep! The cleanser has a light clean scent. Not super strong! I am currently pairing this cleanser with the Anua Heartleaf soothing toner to achieve glass skin. #glassskinera" — Myshel Cagle
Get it from Amazon for $17.69.
2. The Pink Stuff, aka the Swiss Army knife of cleaning products because it can do it all. You can literally scrub your house from top to bottom with this jar of miracle paste and make everything ✨ sparkle ✨ once again. You got dirty grout? Gone. Grease? Good riddance. The caked-on gunk at the bottom of your cast-iron pan that seems impossible to get rid of? Buh-bye!!!
www.amazon.com
Promising reviews:"I always see people using this on TikTok, but the videos don't even do it justice. The Pink Stuff made everything spotless. Counters, stoves, sinks, literally everything. Best cleaning product in the world and I will literally never use any other brand again." — Hailey Peters
" This stuff is some magic sorcery. I'm not usually a fan of traditional cleaning products and tend to opt for natural based cleaners. However, I had some soot over the fire place nothing would take off. Not only did it do a pretty dang good job on that… everything I've tried it on has gotten that item super clean with minimal scrubbing effort. Will always have on hand now. Got hard water stains off when CLR wouldn't even get it clean and made the faucet look brand new" — Kim Montero
Get it from Amazon for $5.97.
3. A Hard As Hoof nail-strengthening cream that helps renew your fingernails after years of nail biting or peeling off acrylics. If your nails are prone to cracking or peeling, the calcium, vitamin, and hydrogenated jojoba oil formula can help keep them hydrated and strong.
Promising review:"Achieved holy grail status. My entire life I have had very weak nails that split. Regular manicures aren't helpful, neither are supplements or a healthy diet. No underlying health issues to contribute to this. I bought this a month ago on a recommendation. I'm pretty amazed that within three days I saw a significant improvement with the cuticles and my nails have been getting stronger ever since. For the first time ever my nails look healthy and strong and I can wear polish and still see benefits. Some of the reviews talk about a weird cherry smell but I think I have a reformulated one that smells light and pleasant, like shea butter. I have since bought two more...one for the office and one for my car. GAME CHANGER!" — R. Weber
Get it from Amazon for $8.88.
4. And a nail renewal formula so you can treat that poor, discolored toe that you stubbed on the side of your bed (but obviously it was the bed's fault, duh, not yours). You'll start to see reduced discoloration and improved texture in as little as two days — don't believe me? Then trust these reviewers!
www.amazon.com
This stuff will hydrate and exfoliate any brittle, damaged nails, help improve their appearance, *and* reduce discoloration and thickness, leaving you with some dramatic results.
Promising review: 'I tried EVERYTHING! I tried tree tea oil for years and various different products. Nothing worked. The reviews were so great on this that I decided to try to cure it one more time. But when you have had a condition for 35 years, you aren't too hopeful! I followed the suggestions of some of the reviewers and cut my toenails (I only had it on my big toes) everywhere that the fungus was present. I started applying this gel, which is super easy to use. I swear to you that I noticed a difference after one application. ' — WIAPilot
Get it from Amazon for $16.97 (also available with a nail file).
5. A wire-free bra with a drawstring in the middle that'll give your boobs a push and allow you to adjust the tightness. Can a regular push-up bra do that? I think NOT.
Promising review: "I usually go to Victoria's Secret for their bombshell bra, pay way too much, and deal with being uncomfortable from having to layer a sports bra over it to keep my boobs in place. But I am a huge fan of this bra. The fit is great, comfy wide band and adjustable. I can wear it every day all day, and I will forget it's there every time because of how soft it is. I don't have to keep fluffing it up." — Shadow witch
Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (available in sizes 32A–40C and nine colors).
6. Tonymoly's octopus-shaped scrub stick to help remove whiteheads and blackheads *and* exfoliate your skin. You can just rinse it off with warm water when you're done, so no need to buy those costly one-time-use pore strips.
Promising review: "I am always using super drying products on my face to target this annoying adult acne I now have, but that causes flaky skin. I have sensitive skin so there are only so many affordable store-bought scrubs I can use, and so far the ones I've tried don't do enough or anything at all. The FIRST TIME I used this I literally watched my pores get cleaned out and my skin wasn't irritated at all by the ingredients. The scent is very pleasant and not too strong at all I think. It seems like it will also last awhile because I really used the heck out of it the first day because it was working so well and my pores are deeply clogged. When I was done, my face looked SO much better and was super smooth; I was really amazed that this tiny little Tako could do that. I love this thing!" — Diane Delfino
Get it from Amazon for $12.50.
7. A stain and odor eliminator because your poor carpet doesn't deserve to stink or stain. Instead of saying, "Bad dog!" you'll be shouting, "Amazing stain remover!" Spray and soak any mess your lil' stinker decides to make, and just like that — gone.
Check out why this TikToker loves this stuff here.
Promising review: "Initially, I bought this because I'm potty training a puppy and it's not going great. This product really worked well on my carpets for the dog messes! However, I'm writing this review because my jerk cat decided one evening that my new comforter was a great potty spot. Thankfully I noticed the mess immediately so I was able to get this product on it immediately as well. I did let it sit overnight to really penetrate the stuffing even tho that isn't in the directions. I was certain the comforter was a goner. I tossed it in the wash the next morning and I am BLOWN AWAY by the lack of smell or stain. Cat urine is so stubborn and it can easily feel overwhelming when trying to eliminate the smell but this product 100% has my support. I'm buying more the second I'm done with this review. I love it." — lexi
Get it from Amazon for $23.92+ (available in two scents and two sizes).
8. An earwax removal kit so next time someone whispers in your ear, you won't have to scream "HUH???" This will soften and loosen earwax for easy cleaning so you'll be able to hear everything loud and clear.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Check out the customer review pics to see serious *chunks* removed from their ears!
Promising review:"My right ear has been plugged up for months. I squirted warm water in there, peroxide, tried various ear scraper tools, then just gave up. A month or so later, I saw this product at a local CVS, and gave it a try. Laid on couch with several drops in my ear for a half hour. I could hear weird fizzing noises. Then I flushed warm water in my ear with the included soft bulb syringe, and out came the culprit. Had to have been deep in there." — fixitforgood
Get it from Amazon for $8.97.
9. A stainless-steel skin spatula that scrapes all the gunk from your face. The vibration brings out blackheads, dirt, and oils from your pores, making them easy to remove. For less than $20, think about how much you'll save instead of going for a facial!
Promising review:"I have very very deep blackheads to the point where you would think they are tiny freckles. I've tried all cleansers and then went with the blackhead suction tool and nothing helped. I used this thing ONE TIME and I can not believe the wonders that it has worked. Most of the blackheads were gone after 10 minutes of use. I also have very sensitive skin, but it didn't hurt or damage the skin whatsoever! I watched a YouTube review as I was doing it to make sure I was doing it correctly. Just buy it. I swear on this amazing creation!" — Kassi Miller
Get it from Amazon for $15.78+ (available in three colors).
10. And a stainless-steel tongue scraper so you can remove all the buildup and soft plaque that's been living on your tongue. It'll remove that weird taste from your mouth and odor-causing bacteria, so the next time someone offers you a stick of gum, you'll know it's NOT because you have bad breath.
www.amazon.com
Dr.Tung's is a US-based small biz that specializes in oral care products.
Promising review:"I had a tool similar to this years ago, but it was plastic and shaped a little differently, and I just didn't see much results, so I didn't stick with using it. But this tongue scraper is by far above and beyond anything I have used in the past. The immediate results were disgusting, which is a good thing in this case;-). An added plus is the cute travel bag that comes with your purchase. Solid purchase!" — Lyra18
Get it from Amazon for $8.99 (also available in multipacks).
11. An impressive peanut butter knife that had to have been designed by a genius. It'll get out all the PB from the sides, bottom, and crevices so you can enjoy every. last. drop. #PBloversunite!
Promising review: "It will save your life! Give you wings! Make you taller! More handsome! It will reverse male-pattern baldness!! It will teach your dog to behave! Has been known to bring feuding families back to an amicable place of respect and love! Your glass will always be half full! You will suddenly find yourself only grabbing on-sale items when grocery shopping (by accident even!). Just having one PB-Jife in the household has been noted as a confirmed good luck charm and beacon for positivity and fortune to befall you!*
" Here I am full of life, typing this with my CLEAN HANDS AND KNUCKLES after scraping the bottom of a big ol' peanut butter jar out in two seconds effortlessly. It might look big and awkward (it's a monster of a one-use tool), but seriously, if you have an intense dislike for getting PB on your fingertips dealing with jars — this is the solution you've been looking for. Long live PB-Jife.
"*Will not do anything in that first paragraph. I'm sorry." — CW
Get it from Amazon for $12.99.
12. A cruelty-free lengthening mascara to enhance your beautiful lashes thanks to its cone-shaped fiber brush. The best part: The formula is clump-free! Reviewers say it gives the same (if not better) results as name-brand mascaras for less than $5, AND it has over 248,000 5-star ratings!
Promising review:"I rarely post reviews. To actually type out something positive or negative just isn't my thing unless something is epic. Well, this product is EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!! My 12-year-old daughter asked me for this because all of her friends were using it. For $5, I thought, I'll try one for myself because the reviews were great. I mean WOWZER! I waited until I had worn it all day through a workday. I put this mascara on over 12 hours ago. It glided on so easy and smooth, like none of the mascaras I've ever used, and boom! Thick and volume lashes with no clumps. I don't look like spider legs are growing either. I will say that it's flaked a bit this afternoon, but seriously, it hit the 12-hour mark with no problems whatsoever." — Ryan Davis
Get it from Amazon for $4.99 (available in two colors and as a pack of three).

Sunny & Honey is a family-run small biz that specializes in biodegradable cleaning products.
Promising review: "Worth every penny. I've bought this product so many times now I have it on auto ship! Saw the reviews and figured I'd give it a try. My cat likes to pee over the litter box and stained the brand-new carpet. I used this in my Bissell and it took all the stain and smell out!!! I'll never use another cleaner." — Wendy

www.amazon.com
Promising review:"I have bought so many products to whiten my teeth, and none worked as well nor were as reasonably priced as this pen. Two days into using this pen twice a day, I could see a significant difference. This took out stains from coffee, tea, and wine and even removed the discoloration from previously smoking. I wish I found this product sooner! One thing I noticed was that this doesn't cause any teeth sensitivity. I am super impressed and will continue to use this for years to come." — Alicia

There's no need for cleaning products or intense scouring when you have this lil' mama!
www.amazon.com

Get it from Amazon for $8.49+ (available in four colors).
16. A brush kit that you attach to a drill. A DRILL. If you don't want to scrub the heck out of your mildew-infested tub (aka an unwarranted workout sesh), just attach it to the head and let the tool do it for ya — all you need to do is move it around!
www.amazon.com

Promising review:"I let my tub get extra dirty on purpose because I knew this brush set was coming. In five minutes my tub was sparkling clean. This item is no joke. The flat brushes are awesome for big surfaces and the cone brush hits the hard to reach corners. I liked them so much I bought a set for my mom." — Jason B.
Get it from Amazon for $18.95 (available in soft, medium, stiff, and ultra stiff bristles).
17. A Korean exfoliating mitt to buff all those dead, dry skin cells with its viscose fiber material, leaving you smooth as butter. www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Watch someone use it to remove their self-tanner buildup on TikTok!
Promising review:"I have always used body scrubs, so many different kinds and brands. When using this mitt I didn't see much dead skin but I wasn't expecting to since I consistently use body scrub. After using this mitt my skin has never felt softer or smoother. I wish I found this sooner, I would have saved a lot of money not buying buying scrubs. This is a wonderful price for a wonderful product. If it is in your cart buy it now!!" — Amazon Customer

18. A ChomChom pet hair remover with over 147,000 5-star reviews (!!!), and over 5,000 of them call it "the best," a word that shall not be taken lightly. It's like a reusable lint roller (without those annoying sticky papers) and designed to pick pet hair up efficiently — once fur is locked in, it doesn't go anywhere until you empty it out!
Jenae Sitzes / BuzzFeed
Promising review:" If I could give this product 6 stars, I would. My husband and I use it almost every day. We have three furry dogs and six fluffy cats, which makes for A LOT of hair. We were using a lint roller before we bought our ChomChom Roller. The lint roller didn't work very well and had to be replaced. We have had our ChomChom Roller for months and it still works just as well as it did when we first got it. We can actually invite our friends over now without worrying about all the pet hair." — Morgan Willis
Get it from Amazon for $13.99+ (available in three styles).
19. A descaling solution so you can finally rid your coffee machine or espresso maker of limescale and mineral buildup without scrubbing. It'll extend the life of your machine *and* make your cup o' joe taste better.
Promising review:"I had never even thought of descaling my 2-year-old Keurig before Amazon suggested it, but this stuff was cheap, I knew I was supposed to descale regularly, and I knew this kind of descaler wouldn't be as hard to rinse out as the smell of vinegar. I honestly wasn't expecting much, but the next morning it took much less time for the water to heat up and my coffee tasted twice as strong and rich as it did before descaling, which means the brewing temperature is higher now that the heating element isn't caked with mineral deposits. Now I feel a little silly for drinking mediocre coffee for so long." — Lenore
Get it from Amazon for $9.99.
20. And a set of fast-acting Keurig cleaner pods to cleanse your machine of old coffee grinds and residue. Just pop it in like you would with a K-Cup and let it run. It can help extend your Keurig's lifespan and make your coffee taste super-duper fresh!
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:"I had no idea that cleaning a Keurig was a thing. I bought these because I saw them on TikTok believe it or not. I wanted to give it a go because my Keurig isn't that old, and I didn't think it would do anything. IT WORKS SO WELL! My Keurig wasn't as nasty as some I've seen, luckily. I would highly recommend, keeps everything running correctly and clean." — Lauren

For best results, you should apply the cream after washing your hands, after showering, and at bedtime.
Promising review:"I didn't think it could work as well as everyone said it did. My BF has working man hands and they crack and are very painful. I wanted to get him something to ease that and I immediately remembered hearing of this brand. They didn't disappoint! He noticed a HUGE difference within the first use! It really does take so little to coat your hands that it'll last a while! We'll most certainly be repeat customers!" — HSmomma
Get it from Amazon for $8.90+ (available in two sizes and also in a pack of two or 12).
22. A bestselling pack of Mighty Patches to tackle pesky pimples head-on. The hydrocolloid absorbs the gunk inside, which helps speed up the healing process. Plus, they help conceal pimples and prevent you from picking at them (so they can actually heal faster)!
BTW, these work best on open, draining pustules (rather than blackheads or pimples that haven't come to a head yet). You can read more at Cleveland Clinic!
Hero Cosmetics is an Asian woman-founded brand and home of the popular Mighty Patch. Ju Rhyu launched the brand in 2017, and it's since evolved with products such as cleansers, toners, Mighty Patch nose strips, and more!
Promising review: "I first heard of these 'pimple patches' on a makeup site and tried another (more expensive) brand, and became hooked on them. When I found out there's cheaper versions out there? Definitely looked at alternatives, and this Mighty Patch brand is my new favorite — it works just as well at 'drying' out a pimple/whitehead and I feel it 'clings' better than that expensive brand. I put it on clean skin, let it stay for several hours or overnight, and it works great. I'm sticking with this brand." — nekojita
Get a 36-pack from Amazon for $12.99.
23. Plus, a pack of nose pore patches because the grime and excess oil in your nose are begging to be released. Just leave it on overnight and take it off in the morning to see all the goop and gunk it pulled out, plus your clearer, smaller pores.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review:"It had to be said. These things are disgusting, that's why you should buy them. Squeeze part of your nose skin. Do a bunch of little pustules come out? Yeah, if you put one of these puppies on at night, you wake up, and that is all trapped inside that weird film. I dunno how it works. It's probably sorcery." — Jack Sawyer
Get a seven-pack from Amazon for $9.98.
24. A medicated dog shampoo that could help your poor doggo who's been dealing with dry, flaky, and oily skin. Plus, it can give them a healthier-looking coat! Happy dog = happy you.
It's paraben-, dye-, and soap-free!
Promising review:"Naturally, because of the ingredients, it has a strong smell. However, it does seem to leave my dog's skin feeling dry and provides good relief for her poor itchy skin. My dog Molly is a 9-pound mini dachshund whose little chest makes contact with the grass all the time so her skin gets itchy and irritated. I've been bathing her regularly with this shampoo and it is giving her some relief. No more greasy, flaky skin. Her skin and fur is now dry and soft." — Climbyourarms
Get it from Amazon for $9.87+ (available in three sizes).
25. A cooktop cleaning kit to take you one step closer to having the kitchen you've always dreamed about. Now you can chef it up all day long without having to worry about a messed-up stove!
The kit comes with a bottle of cleaner, a cleaning pad, and a heavy-duty scraper that are all designed to break down burnt-on foods and tough stains.
Promising review:"As soon as I used this stuff, I couldn't believe it! We had a new stove that I didn't clean for months and assumed the burnt pea juice (my enemy) would just be a new stain forever. However, after one application, it was basically gone. I used the scraper that came with it and did one more small application on just that spot, and it was gone! Every time I use this it looks like my stove could be brand-new." — Christi
Get it from Amazon for $13.98.
26. Or a gas range cleaning spray that'll make cleaning your stovetop easy-peasy, no-more- grease -y. All you have to do is spray and wipe to make your stove look good as new!
Promising review: "This stuff really works on grease! I was skeptical about purchasing this product because nothing seemed to clean my greasy stovetop. A friend recommended that I try this brand and when I saw the chance to get a two-pack, I thought it would be a value. Once I used this for the first time, I am never going back to wiping down my stovetop the same way again." — Kindle Customer

Promising review:"This stuff is absolutely amazing. I was one step away from going to the dermatologist. I had severe dandruff that was so bad, I could shake my head and it would come off. 28. Base Labs keloid minimizer that helps reduce and heal those pesky lil' (or, in some cases, big) bumps that decided to grow in with your new piercing.
Note: This product is not an overnight miracle. Apply this two to three times a day, be patient, and you'll start to see the results.
Talk to your doctor before attempting to treat your keloid on your own, and learn more about keloids from Cleveland Clinic.
Promising review: "This product is amazing! Truly a miracle product. I had an AWFUL keloid forming near my nose piercing about six weeks after getting it done and it was getting bigger and more irritated by the day, nothing was helping. I bought this and started using it and in less than two weeks my huge keloid was completely gone! I was definitely skeptical and a little nervous when it didn't seem to be getting noticeably smaller after a week but then the second week, it started totally disappearing so give it some time to work if your bump is on the larger side. If you remain patient and apply it twice a day, it should do the trick!" — Jordan Caprigno
Get it from Amazon for $12.85+ (also available in multipacks).
29. A deshedding glove so you can groom your fuzzy BFF without them fussing, because they'll probably enjoy it!
BuzzFeed Shopping contributor AnaMaria Glavan swears by this thing: " The glove is super comfortable and using it couldn't be more foolproof: Just put it on and run your hands through your pet's fur. That's it! The silicone grooves pick up so much fur with ease. Like, my dog looks close to hairless. HOW is he shedding so much!?!? After a few runs, I found that I would have to remove fur from the glove before continuing (you can pick up the fur with your other hand or run the glove under some water — either works), but it's no biggie. The silicone actually makes it really easy to keep this clean.
"We got Rockie when he was 5, and he'd been riddled with skin issues and allergies, so I was pretty nervous to use anything that could potentially aggravate his conditions. However! Not only does this *not* bother his skin, but he…loves this. A lot. He starts snoring after exactly two run-throughs on his back. Also, his coat looks SO shiny after each use! TL;DR: This is one of those inexpensive add-ons that any pet owner should have on hand."
Get it from Amazon for $7.97.
30. First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser, a body scrub for exfoliating dry and rough bumps, especially those caused by keratosis pilaris (aka "strawberry" or "chicken" skin). It also helps decongest pores and remove dead skin. It's vegan, cruelty-free, and safe for all types of skin!
www.amazon.com
Promising review:" I am sorry that I did not discover this years ago! I have ordered two of them by mistake and it's one of my best mistakes. I have the ingrown hair issue on my legs for years now which causes the 'strawberry legs' issue as well. I've been using once in a week for a month now and my legs have never seen a smoother day before! It is incredible. I apply it on my legs and scrub it with my bare hands a little bit, then I continue doing it with the scrubbing side of my sponge for a couple of minutes. I'm scared to stop using it. I don't want to go back to my old legs!" — Eylote
Get it from Amazon for $10+ (available in three sizes).
32. A jewelry cleaning stick for restoring your old rings so they'll stay true to the lyrics ~shine bright like a diamond~. Save yourself a trip to the cleaner, because all you have to do is twist the bottom of the pen and brush the solution on. Lo and behold, your gem is as shiny as new!
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"This little pen brush is incredible! I wasn't sure if it would work well on my emerald engagement ring, since it's mostly advertised for diamonds, but I thought I'd give it a try. I have been wearing the ring since getting engaged in October, and even though I had it cleaned at the jeweler's in April, it just didn't seem as bright as it was when it was new, and I thought it would just always be a little cloudy. But after cleaning it once with the Dazzle Stik, I was blown away by the difference — it looks as bright and sparkly as when I first got it! I'm so glad I didn't buy an ultrasonic cleaner, since this is so much less expensive and easier and gentler. It took me less than a minute to clean, and I can do it whenever I want! And it's honestly better than when the jeweler cleaned it. So thrilled!" — KFray
Get it from Amazon for $9.48.
33. Some arnica bruise cream if you're clumsy by nature (guilty!) and get bruises ALL the time, even in your sleep. This will calm bumps, swelling, and discoloration, so you'll be grateful to have it around the next time you take a trip to the pantry (and inevitably bump into the corner).
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"I am very fair-skinned and bruise easily (it doesn't help that I also tend to be very clumsy). I recently got a very large, dark bruise on my arm, and a friend at work whose son is a stuntman told me I should use arnica on it. Based on the reviews, I ordered this product and started using it approximately four days after I was bruised. At first, it didn't seem like anything was happening, but after three to four days of use, I could see a marked difference just from morning to evening. I have never had a bruise heal that quickly before. I'm sold!" — J. Yount
Get it from Amazon for $14.99.
34. A bottle of makeup brush-cleaning shampoo to thoroughly remove all concealer, foundation, highlighter, or blush from your brushes instead of just running them through water. It washes out makeup fast without using any harsh chemicals — perfect if you have sensitive skin. Use it with a silicone brush-cleaning mat for the ultimate cleanse!
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
This shampoo is hypoallergenic, cruelty-free, and paraben-free.
Promising review:"I absolutely LOVE this brush shampoo! I was a little skeptical of how well it would clean my brushes since I'd never tried it before, but after using this I am very pleased with the outcome. It has a faint shampoo scent but nothing too overpowering, and suds like you wouldn't believe. It got all the way down to the base of the brush and gave it a really good cleaning. One of my brushes is made from boar hair (Estée Lauder powder brush) and I was worried it was going to frizz it out and ruin the shape, but it actually improved it after I had previously used baby shampoo. It's very soft and not at all coarse feeling. I also used this shampoo on my Beauty Blender, and it did a great job getting all the foundation out. All in all, I'd rate this product a 10/10!" — Ryan Brooks

Stick these into the soil, and they'll fertilize it for up to two months!

Each spike can be used for 30–60 days, depending on the season.
Promising review:"I always kill my plants, but I decided to try again. I just bought five houseplants, and three of them were marked down because they were looking pretty puny. Since I tend to kill them anyway, I figured I would give them a try and save some money. I put one of these spikes in each plant, and they all looked so much healthier and happier after just a couple of days. I also added one spike to the only houseplant that I've had for years without killing (I was beginning to think it was artificial); the leaves looked healthier almost immediately. I'm very happy with this product, and it was a great price." — victoria

Promising review:"I had a cheap, untempered windshield that was awful in the rain. A friend of mine from college recommended Rain-X and I was shocked at the difference. I applied it with a soft rag and sat there wondering if it was even on properly. I trusted the system and then later that night took my car out for a drive; it rained while I was out and the difference was instantly noticeable. Before, when using my wipers, streaks would obscure my view so much that any lights would make driving in the rain hard. Now, the droplets don't smear and smaller ones sometimes just roll off. It's pretty great." — Alison J. Gong

Watch out Fitbit and Apple Watch, Amazon has entered the chat

You've seen them on wrists and fingers everywhere - at the gym, in the office, on the subway. Smartwatches and fitness trackers have become the quiet uniform of modern life. For many, they track steps. For others, they serve as sleep monitors, heart rate checkers, or reminders to stand every hour. But despite their popularity, most of these devices do the exact same thing. And frankly, they've started to Whether it's an Apple Watch, a Fitbit, or a Garmin, the core experience hasn't evolved much over the past few years. Related: Amazon's latest products go after a new type of customer Sure, there are better sensors and more polished apps. But the function is nearly identical: collecting health data and feeding it back to you in yet another dashboard you'll probably stop checking. What wearables haven't done, at least not well, is make your life easier in the moment. That may be why one small company decided to build something different. And now, a major tech giant just announced plans to acquire that company, marking a bold return to a space it once gave up on. That company is Amazon. And the startup it's buying is called Bee. Amazon confirmed this week that it will acquire Bee, a San Francisco-based startup behind a $49.99 AI-powered wristband. Bee's device is sleek and screenless, but packed with purpose. It uses onboard microphones and generative AI to listen to daily conversations - like work calls, casual chats, or even errands shouted across the room - and then distills that information into summaries, reminders, or to-do lists. Think: a wearable that doesn't just track your health, it helps you manage your life. In a LinkedIn post, Bee CEO Maria de Lourdes Zollo described the vision as "truly personal, agentic AI." Related: Apple Watch, Fitbit rival stuns with bold message "We imagined a world where your life is understood and enhanced by technology that learns with you," she wrote. Amazon spokesperson Alexandra Miller confirmed the acquisition but didn't share financial details. The move comes as Amazon expands its AI ambitions with projects like the shopping assistant Rufus and a revamped Alexa voice assistant. It also marks a second swing at wearables after Amazon discontinued its Halo fitness tracker in 2023. This time, though, the angle isn't frictionless productivity. Apple and Fitbit have long defined what wearables are supposed to do. Track your steps. Nudge you to stand. Alert you when your heart rate spikes. But those features haven't changed much in the past five years, and they haven't solved a bigger problem: information overload. Bee offers something different. Its core value isn't movement tracking or health metrics; it's saving time and promoting mental clarity. Instead of keeping you glued to your screen, it wants to take tasks off your mind. That kind of AI-assisted memory could appeal to students, professionals, parents, and anyone juggling a busy life. And because it's currently priced at just $49.99, it lowers the barrier to entry significantly. By comparison, the Apple Watch SE starts at $249. Fitbit's latest models range from $100 to $300. This isn't just another gadget - it's a rethink of what a wearable should be. With Amazon backing it, Bee now has the infrastructure to scale, and the resources to improve. If Apple, Google, WHOOP, and Meta weren't already watching, they are now. And with OpenAI, Humane, and others chasing similar hardware ambitions, the AI-on-your-body race is officially on. Behold, The Pimple Patches That Quietly Heal My Most Stubborn Breakouts

Whenever I'm faced with a pesky under-the-skin pimple, I wonder how I ever survived without pimple patches. Then, I quickly remember it was a life filled with picking, popping, and unwanted scarring. Talk about dark times, but I've learned my lesson. Now, if a blemish appears, I simply put a sticker on it. The targeted treatment—which comes in every shape and form, from bright yellow stars to nearly invisible dots—uses an ingredient called hydrocolloid to draw out the gunk hiding inside acne. Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Sheila Farhang is a huge fan of pimple patches. 'I have been recommending them for years and use them myself,' she says. The magical dots are gentle on the skin, hard to see on the face, act as a barrier against makeup, and speed up the healing process by absorbing fluid, oil, and impurities. The best part? 'The patch also helps prevent touching or picking the acne spot, which is the worst thing to do as it causes scarring.' Contrary to popular belief, not all pimple patches are created equal. Some contain active ingredients, such as salicylic acid and tea tree oil, to further reduce inflammation and target acne-causing bacteria; others feature hundreds of tiny micropoints that penetrate the pimple's core. If you're not sure which version of the classic patch is right for you, I'm here to help. I've tested dozens of options, consulted Dr. Farhang for her expert recommendations, and reviewed customer feedback to find the best pimple patches that effectively heal even the most stubborn breakouts. Keeping reading for the full breakdown. The Mighty Patch from Hero Cosmetics is the OG pimple patch. It's transparent enough for daytime wear, and strong enough to stay put overnight. Each patch is formulated with medical-grade hydrocolloid to suck the gunk out of your pimple and slow growth over a few hours. It's so good, I've lost count of how many packs I've gone through. Patches per pack: 36 Amazon rating: 4.6/5 Our expert says: 'This is my favorite non-medicated patch. It is a simple hydrocolloid patch that works well without added ingredients. It's great for sensitive skin and is a little bit thicker of the patch so stays on throughout the day/night.'—Dr. Farhang The Bliss Clear Genius Blemish Patches are Dr. Farhang's go-to. 'I love that this patch has effective yet gentle active ingredients that target the acne two ways: treat and prevent,' she says. 'Salicylic acid helps absorb the excess oil that is clogging the pore, and tea tree oil is anti-inflammatory.' It's also formulated with zinc sulfate, aloe, and vitamin B5 to help calm, protect, and moisturize. Patches per pack: 66 Amazon rating: 4.3/5 An Amazon reviewer says: 'Love these! I've tried a bunch of different brands, and these are by far the best! They are thin, actually help to clear up the pimple, and stay on well!' There's truly nothing worse than a painful under-the-skin blemish. That's why Rael created the Microcrystal Spot Cover—a patch affixed with microcrystal spikes that penetrate the pimple to deliver healing ingredients like succinic acid and hyaluronic acid into its core. Patches per pack: 9 Amazon rating: 4.2/5 An ELLE editor says: 'Not only do the Rael Microcrystal Spot Cover patches magically shrink my biggest breakouts, but they visibly speed up the healing process—bringing the whitehead to the surface sooner. Plus, they stay on so well.'—Emma Aerin Becker, associate beauty e-commerce writer The Peace Out Acne Healing Dots are the ultimate blemish multitasker. They use hydrocolloid to draw out impurities, along with salicylic acid, vitamin A, and aloe vera, to help reduce oil production and calm redness. The result is smaller, less inflamed, and completely pus-free pores. Patches per pack: 20 Sephora rating: 4.2/5 A Sephora reviewer says: 'Never have I experienced quicker and better results than with these acne dots! Especially with those pesky under the skin pimples are flat and that patch is FULL in no time at all! It makes healing a breeze too!' If Hailey Bieber says it's cool to put yellow stars on our pimples, then that's exactly what we'll do. Starface's Hydro-Stars do the heavy lifting for you by drying out blemishes and speeding up healing time, all while concealing your acne with fun and playful patches. Patches per pack: 32 Ulta rating: 4.8/5 An Ulta reviewer says: 'There may be a wide variety of pimple patches, but my all-time favorites are the Hydro Stars! I simply love them, and I would buy them over and over again. I love their design, they look so pretty on my skin, and they really help heal my pimples.' In need of an extra-powerful patch? Look no further than the PanOxyl Overnight Spot Patches, which take a more aggressive approach to treating acne. Dr. Farhang loves them for their star ingredient. 'This patch is formulated with benzoyl peroxide to be used overnight, which kills acne-causing bacteria and unclogs pores,' she explains. Patches per pack: 40 Amazon rating: 4.5/5 An ELLE editor says: 'As an acne-prone girl, these pimple patches are my absolute favorite. They effectively bring every whitehead to the surface and fast. I also notice that my post-popped pimples heal so much faster thanks to the benzoyl peroxide inside.'—Emma Aerin Becker Pimples come in all shapes and sizes. Whether you're dealing with a large cystic blemish or trying not to pick at a tiny zit, the Cosrx Master Patch Set has a dot for it. These hydrocolloid patches come in three sizes, with 90 in a pack to treat and conceal every kind of breakout. Patches per pack: 90 Ulta rating: 4.2/5 An Ulta reviewer says: 'I have tried so many brands of pimple patches, and this is the one brand that actually works! It speeds up healing time significantly, actually draws out so much fluid, and reduces redness significantly. I love the different sizes, they stick on the best, and are tough to get off because the seal they form is tight. Put one on before bed, and see a noticeable difference in the morning.' The Practical Alchemy Just In Case Bundle is a travel essential. It includes 57 ultra-thin patches in multiple sizes, and a sleek case with tabs to secure your patch sheets and a built-in mirror for easy, on-the-go application. Consider it your emergency fix—just throw it in your purse and you're prepared. Patches per pack: 57 Practical Alchemy rating: 5/5 A Practical Alchemy reviewer says: 'The best pimple patch I've ever used - and the chicest case for emergencies on the go!' According to Dr. Farhang, pimple patches should be applied as soon as you feel a blemish forming beneath the skin. 'Definitely before popping it,' she advises, adding that the patch should go on freshly cleansed, dry skin. However, if you just can't help yourself (I get it), you can still apply a patch to an already-popped pimple—though it's not ideal. 'A non-medicated hydrocolloid patch can help absorb remaining fluid, protect the open skin, and reduce the chance of infection or scarring,' she says. 'Once the patch turns opaque or white, that's a sign it has absorbed fluid and it's time to remove.' Dr. Sheila Farhang is a board-certified dermatologist, double-fellowship trained cosmetic surgeon, and reconstructive Mohs micrographic based in Arizona. As a leading publisher of fashion, lifestyle, and beauty content, is committed to highlighting the best products in various categories by personally testing the latest and most innovative products, interviewing countless experts, and vetting customer-loved items. For this piece, beauty writer Emma Aerin Becker interviewed a dermatologist and tested different variations to find the best pimple patches. Boyfriend Thought Living Together Would Be 'Cute'—Then Reality Hits

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. What started as a cute idea—living with his girlfriend—quickly turned into a hairy nightmare for one man, after he found himself cutting clumps of her hair out of the vacuum cleaner. Zoe Mary (@zoemaryfairy) shared a video of her boyfriend struggling to remove tangled strands from the vacuum brush using scissors. The TikTok has since gone viral, with over 148,000 views and more than 6,000 likes. "I was just getting ready when I heard him hoovering our room and then the hoover stopped and he went quiet for ages, so I walked in and he was there with the scissors trying to cut it all out. We only realized afterward that you can actually take that part of the hoover out and do it easier," Mary told Newsweek. She said her boyfriend, Bill, always jokes about finding her hair everywhere, including his clothes. "POV [point of view]: Your boyfriend thought living with you would be cute, until he had to cut all your hair out the hoover," she wrote in the overlay text on the clip. "How I'm not bald is beyond me, she's about 100 hairs a day," Zoe added in the caption. Hair getting stuck in vacuum rollers is a common household issue—especially in homes with long-haired residents. One Good Thing by Jillee says that the best way to remove hair from a vacuum brush roll is to use scissors or a seam ripper to cut gently through the hair wrapped around the brush. Some vacuum models also have release tabs or screws that make it easier to detach the brush roll for cleaning. As for why so much hair ends up in the vacuum in the first place, experts at Healthline say that it is normal to lose about 50 to 100 hairs a day. Factors such as stress, diet, hormone changes, or even hair-care routines can cause increased shedding, but daily hair loss at this rate is generally not a cause for concern. If you don't have a vacuum on hand—or want to prevent hair from getting tangled in one—there are several effective ways to remove hair from carpet manually. Experts at wikiHow say that tools such as a rubber broom, squeegee, or even a damp sponge can lift hair from carpet fibers. The static created by rubber helps gather it into clumps, making it easy to pick up and throw away. You can also put on rubber gloves and run your hands over the carpet, as the friction pulls strands up from the surface. These low-tech methods are especially helpful for quick cleanups or in hard-to-reach areas. TikTok users rushed to the comments with empathy—and advice. "You can take that bit out, sooo much easier!" posted one user. "Babe get yourself an unpicker/seam ripper it's a gameeee changer for this," said Christie. "Absolute fact, the first time he watched me cut it out he was so grossed out," said Jen. "On the side, there is a screw, you can turn it and pull the whole thing out. Makes it way easier to clean," added Manu. Do you have any viral videos or pictures that you want to share? We want to see the best ones! Send them in to life@ and they could appear on our site.
