‘Five-Star Weekend' Peacock Series Casts Judy Greer, West Duchovny, Tory Devon Smith (EXCLUSIVE)
Judy Greer ('Stick,' 'The Long Walk'), West Duchovny ('Saint X,' 'Painkiller'), and Tory Devon Smith ('The Get Down,' 'Zoe Ever After') have all joined the series in recurring roles. The trio join previously announced cast members including: Jennifer Garner, Regina Hall, Chloë Sevigny, Gemma Chan, D'Arcy Carden, Harlow Jane, Timothy Olyphant, David Denman, Josh Hamilton, and Rob Huebel.

Timothy Olyphant Joins 'Five-Star Weekend' Peacock Series (EXCLUSIVE)
The official description for the series states:
'Hollis Shaw (Garner), a famed food influencer known for her delicious recipes, impeccable taste, and warm demeanor suffers a devastating loss. Unable to move forward, the death starts to expose the cracks in Hollis's picture-perfect life—her strained marriage, her complicated relationship with her daughter, and her growing pursuit of validation from her followers. In an effort to overcome grief and find herself again, Hollis gets the idea to host a weekend away at her house on Nantucket with three friends from different stages in her life: her childhood, her twenties, thirties, and one surprise fifth star. Set against a luxurious and coastal backdrop, they will mature in ways they could never imagine as boundaries are pushed and secrets are exposed.'
Greer will recur as Electra, while Duchovny will play Aubrey. Smith will play John Mark.

Bekah Brunstetter serves as creator, writer, and executive producer on 'The Five-Star Weekend,' with Beth Schacter also writing and executive producing. Garner will executive produce in addition to starring. Sue Naegle and Ali Krug executive produce via Dinner Party Productions, with Hilderbrand also executive producing. UCP is the studio. Dinner Party is currently under an overall deal with UCP.

Jimmy Kimmel Hilariously Trounces Trump With His Own Alleged Words
Jimmy Kimmel is once again taking time out of his vacation to troll President Donald Trump. The late night host is set to return to ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' after Labor Day, but clearly caught wind of Trump's latest attack on social media — in which he suggested that Kimmel's show will soon be canceled just as Stephen Colbert's has been. 'The word is, and it's a strong word at that, Jimmy Kimmel is NEXT to go in the untalented Late Night Sweepstakes and, shortly thereafter, Fallon will be gone,' Trump wrote Tuesday morning on his Truth Social platform. 'These are people with absolutely NO TALENT, who were paid Millions of Dollars for, in all cases, destroying what used to be GREAT Television,' he continued. 'It's really good to see them go, and I hope I played a major part in it!' Trump recently celebrated the news that Colbert's 'Late Show' was canceled by CBS, whose parent company Paramount Global notably requires legal approval from Trump's Federal Communications Commission for a lucrative $8 billion merger it's seeking. Colbert was ousted mere days after publicly slamming Paramount Global for settling a lawsuit with Trump for $16 million over a '60 Minutes' interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris, leading fans, pundits and lawmakers to suspect potential bribery. Kimmel made mincemeat of Trump's callous warning Tuesday on Instagram — and responded with a delightful dig of his own. 'I'm hearing you're next,' Kimmel wrote. 'Or maybe it's just another wonderful secret.' The response was a reference to a birthday message Trump allegedly wrote in 2003 to his then-friend Jeffrey Epstein, who would be convicted of sex crimes in 2008 and later died in a Manhattan jail cell while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Trump, who socialized with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s, wrote the message inside the hand-drawn outline of a naked woman and wrote: 'Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.' Trump denied that he wrote the message and is currently suing the Journal over its article. While the majority of right-wing broadcasters continued to express support for Trump despite his administration teasing it would declassify files on Epstein and his rumored 'client list' only to reverse course, much of Trump's base is increasingly irate at his lack of answers.
