Rangers 'emerge as favourites to sign record-breaking Tottenham wonderkid amid major transfer interest from England'

The highly-rated winger has been the subject of plenty of interest this summer. He made a huge impact in Europe last season as Spurs made it all the way to the Europa League Final and won it under Ange Postecoglou. Moore was an unused substitute as Spurs beat Man Utd 1-0 in that final. He scored his first senior goal in their 3-0 win over Elfsborg to round-off their league stage campaign. It was the last kick of the game but a historic moment. The goal saw Moore become the youngest-ever English goalscorer in a major European competition at 17 years and 172 days old. It broke a record that had stood since 1957 when Jimmy Greaves struck when he was also 17. Moore, who's been capped by England at under-19 level, had been expected to head out of Tottenham on loan this summer. Several English Championship clubs had been credited with an interest, including Birmingham and West Brom. Russell Martin opens up after he got sent off by John Beaton in pre-season friendly vs 'Boro But now, Rangers are in pole position to seal a deal for Moore, according to a report. The Daily Telegraph say that the Gers have 'emerged as favourites' to sign Moore on loan. The report adds that a switch to Ibrox is now seen as the most likely destination for the forward. Rangers have been on the hunt for reinforcements in the wide areas all summer long. They sealed a deal for Djeidi Gassama a couple of weeks ago and he went on to make a stunning impact by scoring on his debut against Panathinaikos. 4 But Gassama and a potential move for Moore might not be the end of business as far as signing wingers goes. Rangers are also reportedly interested in signing Oliver Antman from Go Ahead Eagles. The £5m-rated Finland international, 23, enjoyed a highly productive season in the Eredivisie last season and is attracting plenty of transfer interest. But reports claim the Dutch club are 'expecting' a bid from Rangers. The Gers head to Greece this week to face Panthinaikos in the second leg of that crucial Champions League qualifier. Goals from Findlay Curtis and Gassama see the Light Blues take a 2-0 lead to Athens with them. Have YOU got a point for Kris Boyd?
