You Can Stream the 1985 Live Aid Concert in Full on Its 40th Anniversary. Here's How

July 13, 2025, marks the 40th anniversary of Live Aid. The iconic charity concert was the brainstorm of rock legends Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise money for famine relief in Africa.
Live Aid was held simultaneously at Wembley Stadium in London and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia on July 13, 1985. Forty years later, fans can stream the entire concert at internet radio station 80sCentral.com or listen via Alexa, Roku, Live365, Audacy, or the 80s Central mobile app, Antimusic.com reported.
The Live Aid livestream will begin July 13 at 8 a.m. and will air commercial-free and in real time, just as it played out from both stadiums four decades ago.
80s Central program director Christopher Shaw said in a statement, "For 80s fans, this is the Super Bowl, the Grammys, and New Year's Eve rolled into one. Live Aid wasn't just a concert-it was our Woodstock. And here at 80s Central, we're honored to bring this historic day back to life."
Back in 1985, fans clamored to get tickets for Live Aid. Longtime 93.3 WMMR radio personality Pierre Robert explained how the Philadelphia classic rock station covered the event. '[Concert promoter] Bill Graham took one look at JFK Stadium and said, 'What a f---ing dump,' he told Philadelphia magazine. 'So they asked for help cleaning it up, and I volunteered for a few days before the concert. And by doing that, I got an all-access pass to the show. WMMR didn't have the rights to the broadcast, so we were broadcasting outside in a Winnebago. It was the wildest f---ing thing.'
The list of performers in Philly included Black Sabbath, Run–D.M.C., Judas Priest, Bryan Adams, The Beach Boys, Pretenders, Madonna, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Cars, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Patti LaBelle, and Mick Jagger and Tina Turner.
In London, fans saw performances from The Who, Queen, David Bowie, Elton John, Elvis Costello, Dire Straits, Paul McCartney, and more. Queen's 20-minute set is regarded as one of the best live concert performances of all time.
In addition, Genesis frontman Phil Collins completed a major feat by performing in both London and Philadelphia on the same day, thanks to a quick trip on a Concorde.
'I'm very proud to be asked to do it,' Collins said in a backstage interview after his London performance. 'I mean because everybody's involved and, you know it's just great to be part of something like this.'You Can Stream the 1985 Live Aid Concert in Full on Its 40th Anniversary. Gypsy Rose Blanchard Says She and Boyfriend Ken Urker Are Moving in Together Now That She's Off Parole: ‘A Full-Time Family'

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, Ken Urker and their daughter are moving in together Now that Blanchard has completed her parole, she's can move in with her boyfriend and travel freely across state lines The couple is also looking toward a possible engagement in the future, Blanchard saidGypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker are moving in together. Months after welcoming their first child, the Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up star shared that she and her boyfriend will be moving in together on the June 30 episode of Tori Spelling's MisSpelling podcast. This comes just a few days after Blanchard officially completed her parole for her role in the death of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Recently, Gypsy and Urker have been "ping-ponging" back and forth between Urker's home in New Orleans and Gypsy's parents' home, with the permission of her parole officer, who requires two weeks' notice before she leaves the state. However, now that her parole is complete, Blanchard has come into a whole new freedom to move and live wherever she'd like. "Now, this week, I can move in with Ken, and we could be a full-time family," she shared. "And being on parole, we can go on vacation anywhere, have no restrictions." She added that next month, their family — including Gypsy, Urker and their daugther Aurora, as well as Gypsy's dad Rod Blanchard and his wife Kristy — will be going on vacation to a beach. Urker and Blanchard welcomed Aurora in December 2024, and now the family is moving in together — but those aren't the only major milestones on the family's radar. Blanchard also shared that she suspects an engagement could be on the way. Urker went engagement ring shopping during the season 2 finale of Life After Lock Up. "But he hasn't told me if he got a ring or if he didn't get a ring," said Blanchard, who was married once before, to her ex-husband Ryan Anderson. "Like he's been so big about it and so part of me is hoping that maybe [we'll get engaged when] we're on vacation." She added, "He's already talked to my dad and gotten my dad's blessing." The Coppola Family Has Owned This Hollywood Home for Decades—It Can Be Yours for $2.3 Million

A recently listed home in the Hollywood Hills has strong ties to entertainment industry royalty. The Spanish Revival residence is the childhood home of director Gia Coppola, now 38, who lived there for almost two decades with her mother, Jacqui Getty. Getty, who's now selling the historic abode, bought it from her father-in-law, Francis Ford Coppola, back in 2013. While the Godfather director never lived in the house himself, he and his wife, Eleanor, owned it for about 20 years, after purchasing it around 1994. Their children Roman and Sofia similarly bought homes in the area so that the whole family could be near one another. Getty would regularly throw parties, with guests ranging from the Smashing Pumpkins to Leonardo DiCaprio to Demi Moore and the Olsen twins. 'There was always something happening at our house,' Getty said in a statement. 'So many people have passed through here, each with unforgettable memories. Everyone who walked through these doors always felt at home.' Kristal Moffett at Compass holds the $2.3 million listing. The home, originally built in 1922, retains many original details, including the red roof tile, period wood detailing, wrought-iron balconettes, and arched French doors and windows. Getty's favorite room is the kitchen, which has a cozy farmhouse feel with a breakfast nook in the corner that looks out on the lush landscaping, courtesy of Studio Art Luna. The primary suite opens up to a private balcony, and the additional two bedrooms have en suite baths as well. Outside, the detached garage has been converted into a guest suite complete with a kitchenette. The flexible space can also be used as a home office or an art studio, where you can keep the property's creative legacy going. The backyard includes a small pool and several seating areas for outdoor hangs or alfresco dining. One section is currently set up like a living room, with a comfy couch and a fireplace. Getty is moving on from the Hollywood Hills home to make her way back east—she grew up in New York and wants to return, with the hopes of having a little farm. And while the Coppola family will always have strong ties to Los Angeles, they have historically snapped up property outside the City of Angels, too. A few years back, for example, Francis Ford Coppola's private island in Belize popped up for sale with a relatively low price tag of just $2.2 of Robb Report The 10 Priciest Neighborhoods in America (And How They Got to Be That Way) In Pictures: Most Expensive Properties Click here to read the full article.
