Putin Refuses To End Russia-Ukraine War Without Victory In Call With Trump; Says This About Iran…
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has firmly voiced India's concern over rising tensions in the South China Sea during the Quad Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Washington. He emphasized that the waterway is an "issue of great concern" and of strategic interest for all Quad nations, including India, given its critical role in global trade and maritime security. India joined the US, Japan, and Australia in condemning China's increasing militarization and coercive activities in the region. The joint Quad statement denounced unilateral actions that aim to alter the status quo by force, particularly in disputed areas, including the unsafe use of water cannons and ramming tactics. India reaffirmed its commitment to upholding international law, especially UNCLOS, and maintaining freedom of navigation, overflight, and unimpeded lawful commerce. Jaishankar reiterated that the peace, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Indo-Pacific cannot be compromised. India's stand signals a stronger alignment with like-minded nations to deter China's expansionist ambitions. #southchinasea #china #india #indiaquad #jaishankar #quad #chinamaritimetensions #freedomofnavigation #quad2025 #indo pacific #indiausrelations #uncos #chinathreat #toi #toibharat #bharat #trending #breakingnews #indianews
