Justice ministry condemns Zionist assault on Hodeida
Sana'a - Saba: The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights condemned the Zionist aggression on the ports of Hodeida, Ras Issa, and Salif, and the central power station in Ras Katheeb. The Ministry explained in a statement that ten Israeli warplanes launched a series of barbaric raids aimed at putting these vital civilian facilities out of service and preventing them from performing their purely humanitarian roles and missions. These ports are the sole artery for the entry of food, medicine, petroleum derivatives, humanitarian aid, and essential supplies that are indispensable to more than twenty million Yemenis and meet the needs of more than 90% of the population of the Republic of Yemen. The statement warned the international community, which is complicit in the criminal Zionist behavior against civilian objects, and has turned a blind eye to all the gross violations committed by the criminal Zionist entity, which violate all the rules and principles of international law that criminalize the targeting of civilians and civilian objects, especially those related to the rules stipulated in the United Nations Charter, international humanitarian law, and human rights law. The statement affirmed the legitimate right of the Yemeni people and their armed forces to defend themselves and their capabilities by all available legitimate means. These attacks will not deter them from their firm and continuing principled stance in supporting the oppressed Palestinian people, who are being subjected to the most heinous crimes of systematic genocide, inhumane violations, and the deliberate killing of children, women, and the elderly in death traps perpetrated by the criminal Zionist entity against the hungry and thirsty people seeking to meet their basic food needs. The statement considered Yemen's support for the Palestinian people a religious and moral duty, from which it will not deviate, no matter the sacrifices, amid the shameful silence of the United Nations and the international community. The statement reaffirmed Yemen's full right to defend itself and deter any external aggression, and emphasized the options of the political and military leadership to take the necessary measures to protect the country's sovereignty, safeguard its national security, and safeguard the interests of its people. The Ministry held the United Nations fully legally, morally, and humanitarianly responsible for the Zionist criminality and arrogance, and its blatant and flagrant aggression against Yemen. This organization called for immediate pressure on the US-backed Zionist entity to respect Yemen's national sovereignty, immediately halt its aggression against Yemen and Gaza unconditionally, lift the unjust blockade imposed on the people of Gaza, and hold war criminals and perpetrators of violations accountable. The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights also affirmed that the rights of the Yemeni people will remain above all considerations, that the crimes of the Zionist-American aggression will not be forgotten, and that Yemen will always stand in the trench of truth and justice alongside all the oppressed, based on its sound faith approach, its lofty humanitarian principles, and its free national principles. Foreign ministry condemns Zionist assault on Hodeida, praises army
Sana'a - Saba: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression against Yemen, most recently targeting the ports of Hodeida, Ras Issa, and Salif, and the central power station in Ras Katheeb, including a commercial ship stationed in the port of Hodeida. This belies the misleading Zionist narrative of attacking military targets. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that the cowardly Zionist aggression constitutes a blatant violation of Yemen's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, as well as the UN Charter and all international norms, conventions, and laws. It commended the valiant Yemeni armed forces for intercepting the enemy aircraft and forcing them to leave, as well as for their swift response to this aggression through a qualitative military operation with 11 missiles and drones targeting Israeli territory. The statement noted that the name given to the aggression on Yemen confirms the close connection between the Zionist entity and terrorist organizations, particularly ISIS. It considered the repeated targeting of civilian objects by the usurping entity in Yemen to be evidence of the entity's criminality, its disregard for international law, and its abject failure to achieve its goals. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the international community's silence regarding the war crimes committed by the Zionist entity in Yemen, affirming the Republic of Yemen's right to respond and defend itself, and that any Zionist aggression against Yemen will not pass without a response and punishment. The Ministry called on the international community to curb the Zionist entity and force it to end its crimes of genocide in Gaza, which are unprecedented in history and have resulted in the deaths of more than 57,000 people and the wounding of more than 136,000 others, most of whom are women and children. The Ministry stressed that restoring stability to the region will only be achieved by ending the siege and aggression imposed on the Palestinian people in Gaza, ending the Zionist occupation, and establishing a Palestinian state on all national territory with Quds as its capital. The Ministry also reiterated that Yemen's position in support of Gaza will not change, and that support operations will continue at a high pace until the aggression and siege imposed on Gaza are ended. Israeli Occupation destroys 'Badu al-Kaabneh' School, displaces Arab al-Mlihāt Community
Ariha – SABA: Israeli occupation forces stormed and destroyed the 'Badu al-Kaabneh' Coeducational Primary School east of Ariha today, Friday, and forcibly displaced the residents of the neighboring Arab al-Mlihāt community — an act the Palestinian Ministry of Education condemned as a crime against the right to education and dignified living. In an official statement, the ministry stressed that this violation goes beyond the demolition of a school building, describing it as a systematic attempt to undermine the future of students in marginalized and threatened areas. It noted that the Israeli authorities aim to impose a forced reality by emptying the land of its native inhabitants and depriving children of a safe educational environment. The Ministry added that the incident represents a blatant breach of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and other international agreements that guarantee the right to education. It further emphasized that the continued Israeli violations require urgent international action, calling on all human rights and humanitarian organizations — foremost among them the United Nations — to exert pressure on Israeli authorities to cease these abuses, reopen the school, and guarantee the children's right to return to their classrooms without fear.
