Manuwadi ideology
. This incident is a mirror for those who claim that caste is no longer an issue. Every incident that tramples the dignity of Dalits is an attack on Baba Saheb's Constitution, a conspiracy against equality, justice, and humanity."

Gandhi demanded that the culprits be immediately arrested and given strict punishment.
"Such incidents are becoming common in BJP-ruled states because their politics is built on hatred and hierarchy. Atrocities against SCs, STs, and women have alarmingly increased, especially in Odisha. The culprits must be immediately arrested and given strict punishment. The country will run by the Constitution, not by Manusmriti," the post reads.
Earlier on June 21, Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi accused the Election Commission of "match fixing" the elections, claiming that the new instructions to delete CCTV footage of the election after 45 days of polls is just a way to "delete evidence."
The Leader of Opposition raised concerns about the integrity of the electoral process, citing the destruction of evidence as a potential indicator of election rigging. He warned that a fixed election would be "poison for democracy," highlighting the need for a free and fair electoral process.
The Congress leader alleged that the CCTV footage is being hidden by changing the law, raising suspicions about the intentions behind this move.

Nearly 12.7 million women in Madhya Pradesh who are beneficiaries of the Ladli Behna scheme will receive ₹250 as a Rakhi gift, and their monthly assistance will be hiked to ₹1,500 from October, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said. Currently, eligible women receive ₹1,250 per month under the scheme. "The Raksha Bandhan festival symbolises the unbreakable bond of love between a brother and Rakhi (festival) on August 9, it is only fitting for brothers to offer gifts to their sisters. Our government will ensure ₹250 reaches every Ladli Bahna (before August 9) as a token of affection," Yadav said on Saturday. He was speaking at a state-level event held at Nalwa village in Ujjain district, where financial assistance was disbursed to beneficiaries of various schemes. "By Bhai Dooj (October 23) after Diwali, the monthly support will be raised from ₹1,250 to ₹1,500," he was quoted as saying in a government statement. Trump says he's considering 'taking away' Rosie O'Donnell's US citizenship
President Donald Trump says he is considering taking away the US citizenship of a longtime rival, actress and comedian Rosie O'Donnell, despite a decades-old Supreme Court ruling that expressly prohibits such an action by the government. Because of the fact that Rosie O'Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship, Trump wrote in a social media post on Saturday. He added that O'Donnell, who moved to Ireland in January, should stay in Ireland if they want her. The two have criticised each other publicly for years, an often bitter back-and-forth that predates Trump's involvement in politics. In recent days, O'Donnell on social media denounced Trump and recent moves by his administration, including the signing of a massive GOP-backed tax breaks and spending cuts plan. It's just the latest threat by Trump to revoke the citizenship of people with whom he has publicly disagreed, most recently his former adviser and one-time ally, Elon Musk. But O'Donnell's situation is notably different from Musk, who was born in South Africa. O'Donnell was born in the United States and has a constitutional right to US citizenship. The US State Department notes on its website that US citizens by birth or naturalization may relinquish US nationality by taking certain steps but only if the act is performed voluntary and with the intention of relinquishing US citizenship. Amanda Frost, a law professor at the University of Virginia School of Law, noted the Supreme Court ruled in a 1967 case that the Fourteen Amendment of the Constitution prevents the government from taking away citizenship. The president has no authority to take away the citizenship of a native-born US citizen," Frost said in an email Saturday. In short, we are nation founded on the principle that the people choose the government; the government cannot choose the people. O'Donnell moved to Ireland after Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris to win his second term. She has said she's in the process of obtaining Irish citizenship based on family lineage. Responding to Trump Saturday, O'Donnell wrote on social media that she had upset the president and add me to the list of people who oppose him at every turn. Tamil Nadu schooled over classroom seating idea
New arrangement may affect kids' health 'Students on the sides will be forced to turn their necks for hours, five days a week. This can lead to 50% of students developing serious neck-related issues, and 15% may face very serious issues,' a neurosurgeon posted on X. He also warned of visual strain, especially for students who wear glasses, as they would be forced to look through the periphery of their lenses rather than the optic centre, causing further eye discomfort and headaches. The circular issued by the Director of School Education had asked all Chief Educational Officers in every district to ensure the new seating arrangement in all classrooms, taking into account the number of students and the size of the classrooms. Although the arrangement was supposed to be implemented depending on each classroom's size as per the circular, many pointed out that government and government-aided schools have longer classrooms, unlike the wider rooms needed to accommodate seating arrangements in 'Pa' shape. Moreover, classrooms with a large number of students will face difficulty even with the new arrangement. The inspiration behind the move came after some schools in Kerala voluntarily adopted similar seating arrangements, inspired by the Malayalam film Sthanarthi Sreekuttan. Reacting to the proposal, AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami slammed the state government of copying ideas from films without any proper study. 'Stop playing with students' health for publicity,' he posted on X. BJP state secretary SG Suryah, too, criticised the move. The director confirmed to TNIE that the circular has been put on hold. 'After health concerns were raised, we are currently discussing whether to implement it. A final decision will be taken after detailed discussions next week,' he said.
