The Thai army said in a statement that Cambodia had conducted attacks at multiple locations early on Tuesday in violation of the ceasefire and Thailand had retaliated proportionately in self defence.

SAD to intensify agitation against land pooling policy, hold protests across Punjab
Chandigarh: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Tuesday declared it will intensify agitation against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led Punjab govt's 'Land Pooling Policy'. The party announced plans to hold at least four major protests, one each in Bathinda, Patiala, Ferozepur, and Moga in August. The decision was made after a core committee meeting of the party on Tuesday. Following the meeting, senior SAD leader and party spokesperson Daljit Singh Cheema stated that the party would protest against the "land grabbing scheme" in Bathinda on Aug 4, in Patiala on Aug 11, in Ferozepur on Aug 21, and in Moga on Aug 30. He mentioned that "the outline of the state-wide opposition to the govt's land loot was discussed at meetings of the party district presidents as well as the working committee earlier in the day, which were presided over by party president Sukhbir Singh Badal."
