Cena was joined by his wife Shay Shariatzadeh at SW19 as they enjoyed Carlos Alcaraz beating Brit star Ollie Tarvet and Emma Raducanu knocking out former champion Marketa Vondrousova.
It was his first time at Wimbledon and it is safe to say he knew little about tennis.
Cena was asked several questions testing his knowledge of the Championships in an interview that has gone viral.
With remarkable confidence, he guessed that "hot dogs and mustard" was the traditional snack of Wimbledon.
Quizzed on how many racquets are strung every year, Cena said: "I see it a lot of tennis, but I don't see a lot of repair going on. I'll go five."
The actual answer is a whopping 2,000 as he admitted to being "a little off on that one".
Cena let out a "damn it" when he thought the height of the grass was 4cm instead of the correct 8mm.
He also predicted that the longest match ever lasted a week as a joke, being left visibly shocked when finding out John Isner vs Nicolas Mahut in 2010 took three days to complete.
Cena was full of praise for his fellow celebs in the royal box, saying: "I got the chance to ask multiple audience members for help, knowing nothing, and everyone was so kind."
Fans found him hilarious, with one saying: "Need this level of confidence in my life."
'Favourite part of Wimbledon,' say fans as umpire is wheeled away 'like piece of furniture' when rain hits
Another added: "I love him."
A third wrote: "He's trying his best and I love him for it."
More said: "Tbh fair some of these questions even some players would get it wrong."

Stevie Wonder, 75, cracks blind joke on stage during BST Hyde Park set as he pays tribute to John Lennon and Marvin Gaye

Stevie Wonder cracked a blind joke while paying tribute to John Lennon and Marvin Gaye on stage on Saturday. The legendary singer, 75, brought his joyful catalogue of music – spanning six decades – to BST Hyde Park for the second time. With over 100 million records sold all over the world, it's no surprise that Stevie's appearance sold out. Arriving on stage, Stevie was dressed in a white tunic with stitched portraits of John and Marvin on either side. Tapping one side, Stevie told fans, 'This is Marvin Gaye,' but quickly realised he was showcasing John's face. He corrected himself and playfully added: 'I'm sorry y'all I'm blind,' which had the large crowd laughing. Kicking off with Love's In Need of Love Today, he attributed the song to the fragility of the world today. He said: 'We've been through the hate, [but] love is far bigger. We need - in a time when this planet is too angry — light. So, I want to start off with a song off that you would by now know…' An extra special, and unexpected, cover of Imagine by John Lennon followed. The setlist also included Everybody Is A Star, Master Blaster (Jammin'), Higher Ground and You Are The Sunshine of My Life. Stevie ended with Superstition and Another Star before the American star took his final bow. AJ Odudu, Emily Atack, David Walliams and Vicky McClure were amongst those in the crowd. It comes as it was announced that BST's final day had been cancelled, after Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) pulled out of the headline slot. A statement from organisers said: 'Following the news that Jeff Lynne's ELO will not be able to perform at BST Hyde Park due to medical reasons, Sunday 13 July's event will sadly be cancelled. AJ Odudu (left), Emily Atack (right), David Walliams and Vicky McClure were amongst those in the crowd 'Ticket holders will be refunded and contacted directly by their ticket agent with further details.' An earlier statement from BST said: 'Jeff Lynne is heartbroken to report that he will not be able to perform at tomorrow's BST Hyde Park show. 'Jeff has been battling a systemic infection and is currently in the care of a team of doctors who have advised him that performing is simply not possible at this time nor will he be able to reschedule- 'The legacy of the band and his longtime fans are foremost in Jeff's mind today - and while he is so sorry that he cannot perform, he knows that he must focus on his health and rehabilitation at this time.' The band were due to be joined at BST Hyde Park by Californian rockers The Doobie Brothers, English songwriter Steve Winwood and Dhani Harrison, the son of late Beatles lead guitarist George Harrison. Other acts on the bill included W.H. Lung, Cats in Space, High Fade, Neckbreakers, Bobbie Dazzle and Bec O'Malley. ELO's latest cancellation comes after the rock band, best known for their hit song Mr Blue Sky, pulled out of a performance at Manchester's Co-Op Live on July 10 at the last minute. The musician, best known for hit Mr Blue Sky, revealed on X that he was battling a 'systemic infection' and said that doctors 'have advised him that performing is simply not possible at this time' The band cancelled less than an hour before they were due to take to the stage, with thousands of fans already seated in the vemue. They were told that the performance would not go ahead as planned due to 'illness.' The band posted on social media: 'Unfortunately due to illness tonight's (Thursday 10th July 2025) scheduled performance of Jeff Lynne's ELO at the Co-Op Live will not going ahead. 'Jeff is devastated he cannot perform this evening.' The band was formed in Birmingham in 1970 by Lynne, multi-instrumentalist Roy Wood and drummer Bev Bevan, and first split in 1986.

BBC lost public trust over Glastonbury fiasco, Ofcom boss says

The BBC lost public trust over the Glastonbury fiasco when it broadcast anti-Israeli chants, the head of Ofcom has said. Dame Melanie Dawes, the regulator's chief executive, called on BBC bosses to act more quickly to recognise issues with their coverage and said she was 'frustrated' with the organisation. The BBC was widely condemned last month when it broadcast Bob Vylan, a band, chanting: 'Death, death to the IDF.' The footage remained available on BBC iPlayer for several hours after it happened, prompting calls for the resignation of senior executives including Tim Davie, the Director-General. The corporation was also criticised after it broadcast a documentary about Gaza, which featured the son of a Hamas official. 'I think it's very frustrating that the BBC has had some own-goals in this area, with the Gaza documentary and then with the Glastonbury coverage,' Dame Melanie told the BBC's Laura Kuennsberg programme. 'It does start to erode public trust and confidence,' she added. 'I think I would say that above all, what frustrates me and others is that when these things go wrong, it can take a long time for the BBC to see that something's happened when everybody else was there within a matter of hours. 'So I would say to the BBC [that] I think they need to get a grip quicker, get these reports and investigations concluded sooner. Otherwise, there is a real risk of a sort of loss of confidence in the BBC, which is a shame.' She added that 'day by day' the BBC produces 'really high quality journalism' but had been let down recently by several editorial mistakes. Ofcom previously said that the BBC had 'questions to answer' over the Bob Vylan chants. The corporation has apologised for the broadcast and said 'high risk' acts would not be broadcast live in future. Next week the BBC will publish a report into the Gaza documentary, which drew condemnation and accusations that it was broadcasting propaganda by Hamas. It will also report on Gregg Wallace, the former MasterChef presenter, who has been accused of inappropriate behaviour on set. Mr Wallace said this week that his failure to wear underpants while working at the BBC was a result of autism. The broadcaster will also release its annual report, which could address wider cultural issues at the corporation and recent controversies. Separately, Dame Melanie said she thought the Government may have to go further with its online harms legislation to protect children from AI chatbots. Some AI services have reportedly encouraged children to self-harm, raising concerns among parents about the accessibility of unregulated bots. The Online Safety Act, passed by the previous Conservative government, covers some AI services linked to social media companies but there are already warnings of 'loopholes' about new platforms developed since it came into force in 2023. 'There are some forms of new AI which are going to be covered, but there are some that may not,' Dame Melanie said. 'I think this is a general point…that as the internet keeps changing, as new forms of AI come in very rapidly, there may need to be some changes to the legislation to cover that.'

The soap star is coming back as Nigel Bates' wife Julie amid his dementia battle. 3 3 3 However, Nigel walked out on her over a year ago without being honest about his diagnosis. Next week, she will go up against Nigel's best pal Phil Mitchell as they row over his care. Karen said: "Even with the Phil situation, Julie knows that as long as she's with Nigel – and he knows how much she loves him – that's what matters. "They are facing a hard road ahead, but they've got each other now. "Julie loves Nigel more than anyone else, and she'll go above and beyond to help him. Phil can be as difficult as he wants to Julie, she's not going anywhere." Phil is left furious when Julie reveals she wants to take Nigel back to Scotland with her. "She's really angry because Phil knew where Nigel was all this time, and he could have told Julie," Karen adds. "She doesn't understand why he didn't get in touch with her, and that leads to clashes between them. "Also, Julie believes Nigel should have as much support as possible, so she doesn't get why Phil is trying to cut her out." Nigel was seen back on EastEnders for the first time in 27 years when he appeared in the 2024 Christmas Eve episode. The character left the show in April 1998 when he and his adopted daughter Clare fled Albert Square to start a new life in Scotland with his partner Julie Haye and her son Josh. Actor Paul Bradley said at the time he was "thrilled and honoured" to be back.
