'Simply elegant and classic in design, it looks and feels good.'
Now that we are into the summer months, most of us want to make the most of being outside and taking part in activities before the weather starts to turn chillier again. Whether it's trips to the beach, a lunch date in a beer garden or taking part in water activities, many of us are making an active effort to leave the house.
Now while you are adding more activities to your calendar, it is important to have a watch by your side that will keep you on track. For those taking back in everyday activities, there are a variety of suitable watches available online or in store. However, for those doing more extreme activities, they need a watch that can keep up with them.
One watch we believe would be up to the task is the STÜHRLING Original Maritimer 935 Quartz 43mm Diver Watch. Normally retailing for £870, watch enthusiasts can now snap up this robust yet stylish timepiece for £101.25 from Debenhams.
Saving shoppers over £760, this Maritimer Watch boasts a durable design so it can accompany its wearer on a range of activities. Powered by a Miyota 2115 movement, this timepiece is said to ensure 'accuracy and grace' in any rugged setting.
While featuring traditional elements of a diver watch, such as luminous hands and hour markers to help with reading in poor lighting, this timepiece also boasts more modern elements to create an exciting and fresh design. For example, this watch includes a coin edge unidirectional bezel to elevate its design.
Sporting a rubber strap for added comfort, this timepiece also comes with a massive water resistance of 200m, making it the ideal watch for an array of land or sea activities. Shoppers can currently choose between a blue dial and black strap watch or an all grey edition.

Another robust watch in the Debenhams sale is the STÜHRLING Original Spectra 50mm Japanese Quartz Chronograph Watch. Available in three colourways, this timepiece has be knocked down from £600 to £96.75. With a water resistance of 100m, this watch features a durable 50mm alloy case and a silicone rubber strap.
Over on Argos, the retailer has slashed £20 off this Rotary Men's Black Silicone Strap Bezel Watch. Normally retailing for £109.99, shoppers can grab it for £89.99 in the sale. With a 100m water resistance, this watch is described as 'rugged timepiece designed for underwater exploration'.
Back to the Maritimer Watch, while it currently doesn't have any reviews on the Debenhams website, many Stuhrling shoppers have left raved reviews about the timepiece over on the brand's site.
One happy customer said: "This is my fourth Stuhrling and like the other three does not disappoint. Simply elegant and classic in design, it looks and feels good and keeps time, not something I can say for other new watches in my collection."
With another five-star reviewer adding: "Nice sized diver at 43mm. The rubber strap is very comfortable and easy on and off. The case is the right weight. I like the blue dial in contrast with the black/silver bezel. The hands are easy to read at a glance in almost any light."
However, they also did note: "I can't read the date as that's how it is with my eyes, it could be a bit bigger or have a magnifier over it. Overall very pleased with this watch!"
Fashion deal of the week
Looking to make a statement this summer? Then this is the wardrobe update you need.
Roman's Fuchsia Floral Ruched Waist Maxi Dress is said to be such a show-stopper, that customers say they get "stopped" and asked "where they bought it from."
While it does retail at £48, fashion fans can add this pop of colour to their summer style for less, as the clothing retailer is offering it for 10 per cent less when using the code HAPPY at the checkout, reducing the total cost to £43.20.
Falling to a floaty maxi-length hemline, it offers a "flattering" effect on the figure thanks to its fit-and-flare design, thick ruched waistline and tie-belt feature, all which will help streamline and cinch the body.
Its short sleeves, lightweight material and its multi-coloured all-over floral print design make it the ultimate breezy and "eye-catching" choice for the current hot, humid days we are experiencing.
Finished with a chic V-neckline and a wooden button detailing down the front, this colourful maxi dress is ideal for pairing with some chunky wedge sandals and maybe even a denim jacket for the unpredictable summer weather.
The £48 frock is still available to buy in sizes 10 through to 20. There's also a pink floral version that is a touch less vibrant than the fuchsia colourway in the same sizes, with the exception of a 12.
Averaging a near perfect 4.9 rating, one shopper praised: "I have this dress and wore it for the first time today. Went out to lunch and a number of people stopped me to say how nice my dress was. I can't remember the last time that happened."
A second admiring shopper wrote: "Absolutely stunning so feminine, floaty got quite a few compliments. It will be going to Greece with me this year."
Save 10 per cent on Roman's Fuchsia Floral Ruched Waist Maxi Dress by using the code HAPPY at the checkout now.
Another shopper also complained about the crown. They wrote: "Only improvement is the crown has a very slight feel to it. Hard to set the date."
Despite these grievances, another delighted shopper said: "I took up on the offer on this and was not disappointed. Timeless looks and simplicity, great packaging and stunning price. A lot of watch for the money. Very pleased."
With a fifth customer adding on: "A truly stunning wristwatch. Easy to read during the day and at night, comfortable and well admired by all that see it."

I tested best grass seed from £4 for a lush green lawn – and winner is perfect after heat spells

The prices start at just £4 GARDEN GLORY I tested best grass seed from £4 for a lush green lawn – and winner is perfect after heat spells IF you want to grow a healthy, green and hard-wearing lawn, you'll need to pick the best grass seed. Which seed you choose may depend on the condition of the soil in your garden, how much sunlight it gets and how much wear and tear you expect it to receive. Advertisement 6 Lynsey Hope has tested grass seeds Credit: Oliver Dixon We tested our grass seed mixes by planting them in March and waiting for the grass to grow. By June, we had a patch of grass to review for softness, robustness, consistency and colour. Grass seed is much cheaper than buying turf, but it's best to germinate either in Spring or Autumn. Here Lynsey Hope shares her verdict on some best-selling seeds: Advertisement Read more on gardening GO GREEN Shoppers are running to Argos to buy £65 garden furniture set Sprogs and Dogs Ultra Hardwearing Grass Seed (500g) £8.99, Need to know: Suitable for pets and children. The 500g covers 15 square metres. 6 The grass seed by Lawn UK was growned the winner Credit: Oliver Dixon This mix of dwarf ryegrass and red fescue has been developed over a decade by Lawn UK to create a thick, "sports strength" turf for lawns that regularly double as football pitches, dog playgrounds and heavy footfall. They say this germinates quickly - and can happen in just five or six days - but our shoots appeared in ten days. The grass that grew was fine and soft with a lovely rich green colour and it seemed to bounce back well after being trodden on. Advertisement Long-term user reviews are very positive, saying the grass grows back well even after snowy winters and heatwaves. Performance: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Overall score: 10/10 Verve Universal Lawn Seed (500g) £4, Need to know: Sow from March until October. 6 This grass seed had covered a good patch of soil in just two weeks Credit: Oliver Dixon I was impressed by the thick and lush green grass that grew from this literally in a matter of days. In two weeks, it had covered a good patch of soil. It germinates at speed, providing good coverage. Advertisement You can use it to create a new lawn, for overseeding and patching. For just £4, this box provides a total coverage of around 20 square metres so I thought it was great value. There were no weeds in it either. A versatile, budget-friendly option. Performance: 3/5 Value: 5/5 Overall score: 8/10 Johnsons Nature's Lawn Grass and Wildflower Seed (400g) £7.99, Need to know: Contains wildflower seeds, attracts bees and butterfiels. Ideal sowing time is mid-March to May and late August to mid-October. 6 Enjoy wildflowers with this seed mix Credit: Oliver Dixon Advertisement An innovative seed mix for gardeners who wish to enjoy wildflowers without sacrificing the functionality of their lawns. The perennial wildflowers - 4% versus 96% grasses - can tolerate regular mowing and attract pollinators such as butterflies and bees. The grasses included are durable and the wildflowers included black medick, black knapweed and meadow buttercup. There's enough here to cover up to 20 square metres and we loved the grass that grew from it, which was a rich green, soft and luscious. Advertisement Shoots appeared in around 14 days. Performance: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Overall score: 9/10 McGregor Multi-Purpose Lawn Seed (1kg) £6.40, Need to know: Sow from January to October and covers up to 40sqm. 6 The McGregor grass came up a bit patchy and looked burnt after hot weather Credit: Oliver Dixon Fast acting and easy to sow, the grass that grew was very fine. It came up a bit patchy and looked a little burnt after recent hot temperatures, then never grew back. Advertisement The box says keep out of reach of children and pets, so can only assume it's not a great option if you have kids and animals in the garden. Suitable for sowing from January until October. This worked reasonably well on bare patches and it's a good value 1kg box. But the grass that grew wasn't as lush as others. The Powertek Solar Deluxe Fence Lights are priced at £25, and come in a pack of four. They give off an ambient, warm light and are designed to be mounted onto a fence. They charge during the day to provide up to eight hours of usage at night, Powertek claims. For larger gardens, look to Amazon, where this 30-metre string of solar lights is priced at £30.99 (down from £42.99). The dimmable lights are shatterproof, remote-control powered, and have eight modes. Meanwhile, Wowcher has a set of 100 LED solar lights for £13, with an RRP of £30. They are designed with eight modes, including steady, fade, waves and also have colour options too. Argos' set of Powertek lights is made from durable, weather-resistant plastic and is designed in a classical style with square white windows. The solar lights have an overall customer satisfaction rating of 4.6 from Argos buyers. One buyer said: "So cute! Light up the garden lovely! We have four on each side of garden easy to put up and do the job!" An additional customer wasn't as pleased, saying: "The lights look pretty but very minimal light comes out of them." Another added: "These are the best lights I have brought in a long while. They are nice-looking and give light. I would recommend buying them." A fourth customer bought them a few months ago, saying: "They are very nice. They are on all the time because there is no motion sensor, but that is what I wanted to light up my front path to our door. "They are sweet, pretty lights that make the place look homely for visitors, and they are bright enough to get the job done. They are just like the ones in the picture. I have put them on the house wall and they look great."
