BARRY DOUGLAS has paid a heartfelt tribute to his former teammate Diogo Jota after the Liverpool forward's tragic death.
The Scotland cap and Jota were teammates during a highly successful spell for Wolves.

The world of football is in mourning after the shocking news of Jota's passing at the age of just 28.
Jota and his brother Andre both died in a car crash in Zamora, Spain.
They were understood to be heading to catch a ferry to return to the UK when the a tyre suddenly burst and sent the car off the road, police believe.
The tragedy occurred just 10 days after Jota married his school sweetheart Rute Cardoso.
The news has left the footballing world shocked and saddened with tributes for the Portugal international flooding in from teammates, manager, fans and beyond.
Jota's time at Liverpool propelled him to stardom with a Premier League title, FA Cup and two EFL Cup successes to show for his efforts.
Capped 49 times for Portugal, he won the Nations League twice, including just last month.
Before moving to Anfield, Jota had a hugely successful three-year spell at Wolves.
Widely regarded as one of the club's greatest ever players, he inspired the Molineux club to promotion to the Premier League in the 2017/18 season while on loan from Atletico Madrid.
He would join Wolves permanently and enjoyed two excellent years in the top division before his big money move to Liverpool in 2020.

It was a special Wolves team, with Jota, Ruben Neves and Willy Boly among the big names who inspired the team to promotion under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Another key star for Wanderers that season was Barry Douglas.
The former Queen's Park and Dundee United left-back was signed by Wolves after four years out of the UK, joining from Turkish outfit Konyaspor.
They formed a devastating partnership down the left hand side to help the team storm to promotion as champions.
After the shock news of Jota's death emerged, Douglas took to social media to share an emotional tribute.
On X, devastated Douglas wrote: "Absolutely heartbroken with the tragic news of Diogo and his brother.
"Can't imagine what his poor family is going through sending all my love to them at this tragic time.
"Life is cruel and precious at the same time grateful for all the memories we have together. RIP gringo"
On Instagram, he added: "Miss you gringo."
Douglas shared a series of pictures of them together from their time at Molineux.
Prince William, Cristiano Ronaldo and Jurgen Klopp are among the others to have paid tribute to Jota.
