Katy Perry Faces A Surprise Onstage — And Her Priceless Response Says It All
In 2011, Katy Perry was 'stunned' by an extraterrestrial — and now, 14 years later, she faced a different kind of invader.
Perry, currently on her Lifetimes Tour, was performing her 2008 hit 'Hot N Cold' at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, when a rogue fan approached her onstage.
In a fan-captured video posted on X Monday, Perry appears visibly startled and uneasy as the fan runs toward her.
The singer — who once kissed a girl and liked it — appeared to not enjoy this particular encounter.
As the fan jumps next to her, Perry recoils slightly, visibly spooked. His 15 seconds of fame are swiftly cut short as security rushes the stage and escorts him off. Perry then turns to the crowd to lighten the mood.
'Well, there's never going to be another show like it, so just enjoy it, Sydney,' she joked.
To further defuse the moment, she playfully asked the crowd, 'What the hell is going on?'
Back in April, during her tour's opening stop in Mexico City, Perry had another memorable onstage moment — though that one didn't require an intruder. There, she reflected on her April 14 trip to space on an all-female Blue Origin space tourism flight.
'Has anyone ever called your dreams crazy?' she asked the crowd.

How much did the Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos wedding cost?
The billionaire Amazon founder and award-winning TV journalist's luxe wedding ceremony happened on Friday, June 27. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos have finally tied the knot in a luxury Venetian wedding, but love comes at a cost. The billionaire Amazon founder and award-winning TV journalist's luxe wedding ceremony happened Friday, June 27, after multiple days of star-studded nuptial events. The affair featured A-list guests including sisters Kim and Khloé Kardashian; their youngest sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner and family matriarch Kris Jenner; Oprah Winfrey; Tom Brady; Orlando Bloom; model Brooks Nader; Leonardo DiCaprio and his model girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti; and Bezos' fellow billionaire Bill Gates. Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez tie the knot in controversial wedding ceremony Bezos' multimillion-dollar affair has drawn ire online and in person, as protests erupt in the region calling for the Blue Origin owner to pay more in taxes amid global frustrations about class and wealth divides. But how much did Hollywood's wedding of the year cost? Jeff Bezos spent tens of millions on the Italian wedding The affair — which ends Saturday, June 28, with its third official day of festivities — is estimated to cost some $50 million. The actual cost of the wedding is unknown, but Venice regional governor Luca Zaia originally estimated the cost between 20 million-30 million euros, or $23 million-$34 million, in a June 24 Reuters article. After a venue change because of security concerns, the estimate later jumped to 40 million-48 million euros, or $46.5 million-$55.6 million. The multi-day events will culminate on Saturday evening with a lively closing party in a former medieval shipyard where music icons Lady Gaga and Elton John are expected to perform. Lauren Sánchez made this subtle change after marrying Jeff Bezos For the ceremony, Sánchez Bezos wore a Dolce & Gabbana silhouette dress with a high-neck, adorned with 180 silk chiffon-covered priest buttons paired with a tulle-and-lace veil, inspired by a similar veil that iconic Italian actress Sophia Loren wore in the 1958 film "Houseboat," according to a Vogue magazine exclusive. Bezos, 61, and Sánchez, 55, were first reportedly linked in 2019, around the same time both parties announced splits from their previous partners. Bezos and his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, with whom he shares four children, split officially that same year. Sánchez was already in the process of divorcing her husband, Patrick Whitesell, with whom she shares two children. She has one more child with former NFL tight end Tony Gonzalez, who was expected to attend the ceremony with new wife October "Tobie" Gonzalez. Katy Perry Is Reportedly 'Upset But Relieved' About Her 'Split' From Orlando Bloom
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's love story is officially over after nearly ten years together. The former couple, who share a four-year-old daughter named Daisy, were plagued by split rumors for weeks, with the singer ditching her engagement ring on multiple occasions. Now, according to insiders, the breakup has left Katy Perry "upset" and "relieved" at the same time as she keeps busy with her Lifetimes Tour. Perry and Bloom have finally ended their nearly decade-long relationship. A close source who spoke to Us Weekly noted that the former couple has "split but are amicable." 'It's not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life," the source continued, referencing the singer's divorce from comedian Russell Brand. The insider further stressed that Perry and Bloom's separation has been 'a long time coming,' noting that the situation between the pair has been 'tense for months.' However, while Perry feels saddened by the end of their relationship, she is said to be "distracted" and 'keeping busy' on her Lifetimes Tour, which she kicked off in April. The confirmation of Perry's split from Bloom comes shortly after it was revealed that she rented out the Montecito home she had fought hard to acquire from an ailing veteran. Perry spent exorbitant legal fees in a bid to secure the mansion in Montecito, California, hoping that it would be the home she would raise her family with Bloom. According to the Daily Mail, the "I Kissed A Girl" singer rented the place out to actor Chris Pratt, as he and his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, recently moved into the sprawling estate in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains. "The arrangement suits Chris, but it's a bit of a surprise given how Katy fought tooth and nail to get her hands on the house," a source told the news outlet. "She previously suggested it was the ideal place for her and Orlando to raise a family. After all that time, energy, and money, it seems unthinkable that they are not going to live in it." Pratt is understood to have been in need of a temporary place to stay for himself, his wife, and their three children while they build a new mansion in L.A.'s Brentwood neighborhood. Perry and Bloom's relationship seemed to have been further strained by the singer's decision to go on an all-female trip to space. After the now-infamous 11-minute spaceflight on Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin spacecraft, Perry had gushed in a radio interview that her fiancé, Bloom, was "all about the journey." However, a source claimed that the opposite was the case, stating that Bloom "did not approve" of it as he never thought "going on the mission was a good idea." Speaking to The U.S. Sun, the insider went further to explain that Bloom "knew she would get backlash" from the mission and was "frustrated" and "disappointed" with her decision to take part in it. "From day one, Orlando didn't think going on the Blue Origin mission was a good idea, and knew she would face backlash," the source said. "He always thought it was a stupid idea, and she wouldn't get anything positive out of it." Perry and Bloom's relationship had previously faced challenging times, which ultimately led to a split in 2017. Addressing the breakup in a 2024 appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, the "Teenage Dreams" singer said both of them "weren't really in it from day one." "He was because he had just done a huge time of celibacy, and he had set intentions," Perry noted, per Page Six. She continued, "I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was like, I can't do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond, but I had to do a lot of real work." Bloom, like Perry, also addressed the difficulties he and the singer faced in their relationship, suggesting that their differing career paths may have contributed to the issues they encountered at the time. "We're in two very different pools [for their work]. Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands," Bloom told Flaunt Magazine. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor continued: "Sometimes things are really, really, really challenging. I won't lie. We definitely battle with our emotions and creativity." "I think we're both aware of how blessed we are to have uniquely connected in the way that we did at the time that we did. And there's definitely never a dull moment," he added. Amid their separation, Bloom is confirmed to be attending Bezos' wedding to Sanchez solo, while Perry forges ahead with her Lifetimes Tour.

Sad Reason Katy Perry And Orlando Bloom Never Married As They 'Split' After A 6-Year Engagement
Reports have emerged revealing why Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom never exchanged wedding vows despite being engaged for years. The former couple was reportedly "looking forward" to tying the knot; unfortunately, they faced a major obstacle in the form of a global pandemic. The revelation comes after it was confirmed that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom had "split" after almost a decade together. After getting engaged in 2019, many expected Perry and Bloom to have a fairytale wedding worthy of their A-list status. However, despite six years having elapsed since the proposal, not only have they remained unmarried, but reports have revealed that the couple has quietly called it quits on their relationship. Now, a source has shared the "real reason" why the duo didn't exchange wedding vows. "They were looking forward to marrying fast after getting engaged, and then COVID got in the way," the source told the Daily Mail. "[When] they got engaged, she was expecting, so everything came fast, and she was looking forward to heading down the aisle pregnant," the source added. According to the insider, COVID-19 brought many uncertainties and travel restrictions. This would have clearly made it difficult for family and friends to attend a wedding and disrupted other logistical arrangements. And when the pandemic subsided, Perry became busy releasing new music and preparing for a tour, all while adjusting to her new role as a mother to their daughter, Daisy. "There just wasn't any time to put a wedding together," the source continued. "The chances of breaking up were more likely than getting married." Despite not tying the knot, the former couple seemed happy for years, but amid a recent rough patch, they reportedly decided that it was time to quit the relationship. "Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable," a source informed Us Weekly earlier in the week. "It's not contentious at the moment. Katy is, of course, upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life." The decision to split was reportedly one that had been "a long time coming" as the duo's relationship had been "tense for months." Following the alleged split, Perry is now "keeping busy" with her Lifetimes Tour Down Under but is set to go on a short break at the end of the month. She has yet to make a public statement confirming the rumored split, and the same holds true for Bloom, who has remained equally silent on the matter. Previous reports that swirled amid Perry and Bloom's rough patch claimed that the singer's ongoing Lifetimes Tour largely contributed to the breakup. A source stated that it caused the "biggest disruption" to what she shared with Bloom, due to the extensive preparation, rehearsals, and travel that had gone into it. "Katy and Orlando have been disconnected for a while now, and with their work commitments have been living separate lives," the insider said at the time, per The Sun. "They have barely been together for a decent amount of time, without distractions, for many, many months," they added. "It has been 'go, go, go' and they thrived when they enjoyed a more settled life, being together in the same place for a length of time. But that has just not happened." Aside from the tour, Perry's Blue Origin space trip strained her relationship with Bloom. A report from The Sun claimed that Bloom "did not approve" of the all-female trip, which had also received criticism from netizens at the time. According to a source who spoke with the outlet, the actor never thought "going on the mission was a good idea" and was "frustrated" and "disappointed" by her decision to embark on it nonetheless. The insider went further to explain that Bloom "knew she would get backlash" from the mission, which is why he opposed it from the outset. "From day one, Orlando didn't think going on the Blue Origin mission was a good idea, and knew she would face backlash," the source added. "He always thought it was a stupid idea, and she wouldn't get anything positive out of it."
