
Bahrain stands united with GCC for peace
He lauded their solidarity during the region's sensitive times and their continuous efforts to maintain peace and security for all.
HM the King was speaking as he received Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, at Al Safriya Palace during his visit to the Kingdom.
His Majesty welcomed the Secretary General and commended the ongoing efforts of all members of the General Secretariat to enhance Gulf cooperation, achieve greater coordination, integration, and meet the aspirations of the peoples of the member states for development and prosperity.
He also commended the prominent status of the GCC regionally and internationally, and the comprehensive achievements made since its establishment in promoting peace, security, and stability in the region.
Progress
The meeting also covered various Gulf-related issues, particularly those supporting the progress of the GCC.
Al Budaiwi expressed gratitude to HM the King.
He conveyed his appreciation for His Majesty's directives, as well as HM King Hamad's efforts and constant commitment to supporting joint Gulf action, increasing its achievements, and enhancing cooperation and solidarity among member states in HM the King with Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi order to achieve the GCC goals.

Bilateral strength In his meeting with the Saudi envoy, His Royal Highness reaffirmed the enduring strength of Bahrain–Saudi relations, rooted in historical ties and sustained by growing cooperation across multiple sectors. HRH credited the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for driving this partnership forward, and highlighted the support of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia. HRH described C-SIPA as a key framework in advancing cooperation across multiple domains. His Royal Highness also stressed the critical role of the United States, together with its partners, in supporting regional security and sustainable development efforts. Discussions included regional and global issues of common interest. Shared priorities In both meetings, His Royal Highness highlighted Bahrain's commitment to deepening ties with its strategic allies and supporting stability and progress in the region. The presence of HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, at both engagements further reinforced the significance of the diplomatic consultations.
