
Palestinian People's Party announces support for Hamas's response to ceasefire proposal
The Palestinian People's Party (a member of the Palestine Liberation Organization) announced on Saturday its support and welcome for the positive response provided by Hamas regarding the ceasefire proposal.
According to Quds Press, the party stressed in a statement the "importance of continuing consultations between Palestinian forces to confront the expected challenges, especially from the Israeli side, during the negotiations to implement the agreement."
The party stressed the "need to fortify the core issues in the agreement, foremost among which are the complete cessation of Israeli aggression, the withdrawal of enemy forces, and the organization of a mechanism for the entry and distribution of aid through the United Nations and its various agencies."
