OnePlus 13 And 13R Finally Get Plus Mind AI Feature After Launching With 13s Variant
OnePlus 13 series models are now getting the Plus Mind AI feature that was introduced with the OnePlus 13s model earlier this year.
OnePlus 13 series models are finally getting the new Plus Mind AI feature that was introduced with the OnePlus 13s in India last month. The company has made design tweaks that replaces the alert slider with a new Plus Key that can be triggered to use the Plus Mind ecosystem, something that OnePlus built over its private cloud computing system.
The OnePlus 13 and 13R models launched earlier this year come with the alert slider, which means the brand has overhauled the system to support the new AI feature for users.
The Plus Mind AI feature has been demoed working on the OnePlus 13s with the Plus Key but the company promised the tool will be rolling out to other OnePlus 13 models, and this week it has been made official. OnePlus 13 and 13R users will get a new update over the next few weeks that adds the new AI feature.
The Plus Mind feature effectively lets you capture images, notes and posts from social media and save them in a folder on the app. You get an AI summary around an image or any notes that you take. When you long-press the Plus Key on the OnePlus 13s model, it can record the information you want to be saved. And if you own the OnePlus 13 or 13R model, the system will be slightly different.
Other brands have offered similar features in recent months. Nothing has the Essential Space that works through the Essential key button that sits below the power key on the Nothing Phone 3a and Phone 3 models. Apple also has the Action button which is customisable and we could see the company make it AI-enabled when its features become available in the near future.

Vivo To Finally Launch Phones With OriginOS Outside Of China? Here's What We Know
Last Updated: Vivo launched its new foldable in the country this month and soon we could see its OS experience change in India as per new reports. Vivo phones have launched with Funtouch OS in markets like India and other regions for many years. The company has the OriginOS available for its devices in China. The experience of using Funtouch and OriginOS has been claimed to be stark, and many people have asked the company to bring the latter to more regions with its phones. And it seems Vivo is going to oblige to their requests after all these years. New details via a tipster this week suggests Vivo's next phone launch could be the first to come with OriginOS outside of China. The news about Vivo bringing OriginOS to India has been shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav in a post on X this week. His source has even suggested that the new version will be based on Android 16 and launch with the rumoured Vivo V60 model in the region. ExclusiveVivo V60 is launching in India on August 19, 2025!The same source also reveals that OriginOS based on Android 16 will debut in India alongside the launch. — Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) July 15, 2025 The OriginOS available in China does not have Google Play Store or any other Google services, which Vivo will have to integrate if the OS releases in India. We have previously asked Vivo about its plans to replace Funtouch OS with OriginOS in India and most times the brand has talked about studying the feasibility of making it happen without ever giving us a clear timeline. If Vivo does bring OriginOS to the market next month with the V60 model, we expect the teasers and news about the development to go mainstream in the next few weeks. The company launched its X Fold 5 flagship foldable and the X200 FE compact phone in the Indian market earlier this month, and having OriginOS running on them will surely be a game changer. Most of our Vivo reviews have said good things about the hardware, and even though Funtouch OS has gotten better over the years, the impact of OriginOS for the company could be much higher, especially when people already know about its experience through videos from China. We'll be keeping a close eye on these details and hope the tipster has got his sources spot on. view comments Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
