'He's been coming to Australia for a long time. He's got family here. And he's made a lot of offensive comments that my officials looked at again once he released the song and he no longer has a valid visa in Australia,' the minister told Australian Broadcasting Corp.
'We have enough problems in this country already without deliberately importing bigotry,' he added.
After the song was released at the start of the summer, Ye made a string of antisemitic posts on X, which included comments such as 'I love Hitler' and 'I'm a Nazi.' The track has since been banned in Germany and from online platforms including Spotify, YouTube and Apple Music because of its antisemitic lyrics praising Adolf Hitler.
The song repeats the slogan hailing the Nazi leader and also includes a sample of a speech Hitler gave in 1935.
Earlier this year Kanye was dropped by Los Angeles-based talent agency 33&West following a series of polemic posts the rapper posted on X. Australian Home Affairs minister Tony Burke spoke out on the track, which was released in Mary, claiming it promoted Nazism. Pic: Broadimage/REX/Shutterstock
Variety reported that West's agent took to Instagram at the time to state that they were severing ties with the artist 'effective immediately… due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33&West can stand for.'
Among the many messages he wrote on the platform were: 'I love Hitler,' 'I'm never apologising for my Jewish comments,' and 'you Jewish n* abort Black children for stem cells, abortion is murder.'
Ye also expressed support for rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who is currently in prison awaiting trial for sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Ye posted: 'Free Puff,' and, referring to other celebrities: 'Y'all watch our brother rot and never say s***.'
He also claimed he has 'dominion' over wife Bianca Censori, and stated her recent appearance in the nude on the Grammys red carpet was only possible because of his permission.

Diddy may only get TIME SERVED after disastrous prosecution in most expensive prostitution case in history, says lawyer

SEAN 'DIDDY' Combs' criminal case has been blasted as a 'total failure' for the prosecution and he will likely only get time served or a few years, legal experts believe. He has been acquitted of racketeering conspiracy, which carried a life sentence, and two counts of sex trafficking, the most serious crimes. Combs was arrested in September 2024 and has been behind bars ever since after multiple requests for bail were denied. While the star and his family celebrate, his accusers will not after a grueling seven-week trial including harrowing testimony from over 30 witnesses, including his former girlfriends and employees. Sean Combs A judge will decide whether or not he will be granted bail late on Wednesday, July 2. However, prosecutors look set to argue that detention is mandatory following a conviction of this kind. Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani, president of Los Angeles-based West Coast Trial Lawyers, who has been following the case since the beginning spoke to The U.S. Sun about the outcome. He said, "Today's verdict is nothing less than a complete and total failure by the prosecution in what will go down as the most expensive prostitution trial in American history. Most read in Entertainment "Even though the Mann Act carries a potential 10-year maximum sentence, Diddy is going to get time served or close to it. His sentencing guideline range may be as low as 15-21 months. The government made several fatal self-induced errors." Neama Rahmani, president of Los Angeles-based West Coast Trial Lawyers "The jury has spoken and prosecutors in the prestigious Southern District of New York should take this very embarrassing loss and move on." Count 1 : Racketeering conspiracy - Not Guilty Count 2 : Sex trafficking of Not Guilty Count 3 : Sex trafficking of "Jane" - Not Guilty Count 4 : Transportation to engage in prostitution (Cassandra Ventura) - Guilty Count 5 : Transportation to engage in prostitution ("Jane) - Guilty The U.S. Sun obtained a letter from the prosecution sent to Judge Arun Subramanian following the verdict on Wednesday. They say the guideline sentence for him is just 51 to 63 months [five and a half years maximum], and he has already been behind bars for nine months. It reads, "The Government notes, however, that the Guidelines applicable at sentencing may be higher than this preliminary calculation. Explosive new Diddy mansion pics reveal star's shelves stacked with baby oil & vast weapons arsenal "The Government has not had adequate time to carefully consider all potentially applicable Guidelines provisions." He believes that the sex trafficking charges appeared weak because of the "evidence of consent" the jury was told throughout the trial. "The prosecution's only real chance of a victory was racketeering and to prove a non-sex related predicate act like kidnapping, arson, extortion, or bribery," Rahmani continued. "The fact that the jury even rejected that argument shows the many flaws in the prosecution's case. "They failed to lean on and flip key members of Diddy's inner circle like KK and D-ROC." The prosecution also didn't call any of the alleged sexual assault victims who have filed civil lawsuits against Combs, who did not have a romantic or professional relationship with him. Many celebrities who showed the alleged victims support throughout the trial have expressed their disappointment at the outcome of the trial. Rosie O'Donnell shared on Instagram on Wednesday, "I guess a jury just never wants to believe that a woman stays because of power and coercion - wow - they just think women stay because what? money - fame - 'they love the abuse' - what a fucking joke - this decision got me angry #cassie." New Mexico-based criminal defense attorney John W. Day also told The U.S. Sun he felt the verdict was a "major loss for the prosecutors." He said, "They presented a tsunami of evidence against Diddy over many weeks, and the jurors did not buy their story. "The government was trying to convince the jury that RICO — which was designed to go after the Mafia and mob organized crime families — should be applied to baby oil and Diddy's high-flying lifestyle in the music business, and the jury just was not convinced. "The prosecutors believed that Cassie Ventura and Jane — the girlfriend who testified under an alias — would tell a story of victimization that the jury would feel empathy for, but they most likely just saw these witnesses as willing participants in the glamorous world of Diddy. "In retrospect, the prosecutors aimed too high with the RICO charges. "He's likely to get some time in federal prison — maybe more than three or five years, but not the full 20 years he's facing after convictions on the two counts. "At the end of the day, the prosecutors need a black box, like we have in airplanes to tell us what went wrong after a crash, to find out what failed with their case." Combs' legal team has written a letter, obtained by The U.S. Sun, to Judge Subramanian outlining the reasons why they say he should be released from custody. They argue he is not a flight risk and has been a model inmate and shown up to all court hearings, adding that "reasonable conditions would ensure" he would not have the ability to arrange to meet with escorts in the future. His defense also says the jury "unambiguously rejected the government's allegations that Mr. Combs ran a years-long criminal enterprise or engaged in sex trafficking - the core of the government's case." 6 Sean Combs could soon be a free man after beating the most serious charges in the indictment this week Credit: Getty 6 Cassie Ventura, left, and Sean Combs appear at the MET Gala in New York in 2015 Credit: AP 6 The embattled music mogul fell to his knees in court after the verdict was read out Credit: Reuters

Lorraine Kelly's ‘curry night' with Pacific Ocean rowers – 6000 miles out to sea

THE heroic Maclean brothers hosted two celebrity dinner guests this week - as they continue to row across the Pacific Ocean. Ewan, 33, Jamie, 32, and Lachlan, 28, have passed Day 80 of their record breaking voyage from Peru to their final destination in Australia. 5 The Maclean Brothers are aiming for the record books. 5 The rowers had their freeze dried meal at the same time as their dinner date Lorraine. 5 Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg has now video called the Scots twice. 5 Greg Hemphill had a host of questions for the rowers. But Lorraine Kelly and Still Game's Greg Hemphill both joined the lads as virtual dinner dates to help boost their morale. ITV host Lorraine tucked into a freeze dried ruby chicken curry with the lads who were over 10,000miles away from her London base. Initially she described their food as looking 'disgusting' but was soon won over saying it tasted 'really nice'. While Greg, 55, who played Craiglang's Victor McDade, wanted to know what the Macleans have to drink , asking: 'Have you had any alcohol on board?' Jamie replied: 'We've got a couple of cans of beer . We had one of them already. But I think there would be cause for a mutiny if the chocolate runs out.' Greg then confessed that he would like to join them for a leg of their trip. He told them: 'I'm an old man of the sea. I have my day skipper licence . 'I think I must have been an old sailor in the past and would have joined the navy for sure. Most read in Celebrity 'But what you are doing is above and beyond all that.' The siblings are aiming to become the fastest to row the 9,000 mile route completely unsupported. Trolls attack Lorraine over 'disgraceful' way she broke Kim Woodburn's death on live TV They've already managed to row over 6,000 miles but have been hit by storms along the way and been followed by a man-eating hammerhead shark. Despite that, the Maclean's told Lorraine, 65, that they still have to take a dip in the ocean. Lachlan says: 'It's not a leisure swim, but we have to clean the bottom of the boat. 'It's amazing how quickly you get kind of barnacles and little muscles on the bottom of the hull . 'So we have to jump in and kind of scrape down, because they really slow the boat down.' And as they near the Australian coast they reveal the sharks will get bigger as they enter waters patrolled by great whites. Ewan says: 'We've seen a bunch of sharks already. I think they're mostly reef sharks which aren't that big although we actually saw a hammerhead the other day. I think once we get closer to Australia we will have to be really careful as we will still need to get in the water every five days to clean the hull. 'So I think once we get beyond New Zealand on that final stretch to Australia there will be great whites in those waters.' But keen fisherman Greg also wanted to know what kind of fish the lads had been catching to eat. Jamie explained: 'For the first half of the journey there were flying fish everywhere. 'They're like pigeons of the sea. They're pests. Some of them are quite big, about the size of a mackerel. 'They travel at some speed and the perfect height to take out a rower's head then just fly on. 'But the little ones end up just throwing themselves on deck. You wake up in the morning, and it looks like there's been some sort of massacre and they've already started to smell.' However Lorraine wanted to know if the brothers themselves had started to smell as they're cooped up today night and day on the 30ft vessel called the Rose Emily. She asked: 'Are you all really smelly and horrible? Or can you wash?' Ewan replied: 'Well, I think to each other we smell okay, but the reality would be to anyone on the outside, it's probably pretty dreadful. 'But we do have to be quite strict. Mainly from a salt perspective as the sea spray corrodes your skin and can quite quickly cause salt sores and blisters. 'So on that basis you either have to rinse it off with fresh water baby wipe before going to bed.' We revealed last month how Mark Wahlberg, 54, had also had a video call with the Scots brothers saying he wanted to make a movie about their "badass" record bid. And Greg wanted to know how they had got in touch with the Hollywood A-lister. Lachlan says: 'It was very surreal as we didn't have any kind of link to him. He reached via one of his people. Apparently he was just taken by the story. Read more on the Irish Sun 'But we've actually spoken to him twice now. He seems quite interested in what's going on. He's Just a lovely guy.' *The Maclean Brothers are attempting to raise £1million for clean water projects.
