Ben said I Do to wife Vanessa Brown this week
Ben, 53, called time on his engagement with Vanessa, 63, in 2023 after 16 years together, was dating his now-wife just weeks before he popped the question.
He appeared to take his own dig at former fiance Vanessa following the special occasion in a stunning Cumbria castle, telling how his nuptials were 'a new beginning' and added: "I wasted 17 years of my life."
Now broadcasting legend Vanessa appears to have hit back.
Speaking on her daytime talk show Vanessa, she nattered to Carrie and David Grant, former Strictly star James Jordan and her daughter, Saskia Joss.
In the discussion about working with their respective spouses, James said of teaming up with fellow professional dancer Ola "for us its always worked."
After Carrie and Saskia gushed about their working dynamics, Vanessa quipped: "And I'm sitting here single, single and all alone."
She then moved on and said: "Alright let's get straight into our first topic."
Yet later in the show, the anchor hinted the subject had resurfaced.
Vanessa teased that there were 'censored' conversations with her guests during the break.
She didn't disclose what the chats were about - but the guests were all laughing as the theme tune played out.
It came a day after she was spotted all smiles as she partied with pal Myleene Klass following her MBE accolade, just hours after Ben's ceremony.
BEN'S CATTY SWIPE
While the pair were partying, Ben took a catty swipe at his ex as he said I Do.

New husband Ben then told MailOnline: "I have always wanted to be married since I was seven years old. I always wanted to be with someone who would take my surname.
"I almost gave up on marriage, thinking there wasn't a lady that would walk down the aisle for me.
"I can't believe the day has come, it is a dream come true. It feels like I've been waiting for this moment all my life.
"This is the finale of the chapter that was 17 years of my life."

2023
Shocked Vanessa announces the relationship is over, heartbroken by Ben's infidelity.
An insider also told The Sun: 'Ben's never been happier. He's always wanted to get married and knew Vanessa was the one instantly."
Back in April, Ben revealed no expense was going to be spared in order to make it the perfect day.
He told us: "There's a three-day wedding celebration. We've got a summer soiree the night before, a barbecue, then the whole day of celebrations the day after and then a farewell brunch.
"So it'll be jam-packed."
FELTZ'S PAIN
TV star Vanessa dumped her fiancé Ben two years ago after suspicions that he had cheated on her with several women.
The This Morning segment presenter spoke of her 'shock' and 'heartbreak' over the singer's suspected infidelity at the time.
Amid a string of allegations that Ben cheated with a number of women, Vanessa was horrified to discover his 'double life'.
It was understood she discovered a trail of emails and social media messages that led her to uncover the infidelity.
She told fans of her TalkTV drive time show that despite the "sadness" and "shock", she wouldn't let it get her down.
Vanessa said: "People who have been reading about my private life over the weekend will know that my 16-year relationship has come to an end.
"I have said, I'm very sad. I'm very shocked, but I am going to soldier forth. I hope to rise like a phoenix from the ashes and all of that."
The TV presenter revealed a dramatic two stone weight loss after the painful break-up.

James Whale shares he 'probably won't be here next week' as he enters hospice

James Whale has said that he has entered hospice care, as he recorded what he said would be his final podcast with his wife. The radio and TV host, 74, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, revealing in 2020 that his kidney cancer had returned and spread to his brain, spine and lungs. Whale is best known for hosting The James Whale Radio Show, as well as for his work for talkSPORT and talkRADIO over the years. The Celebrity Big Brother star has been hosting the podcast Tales Of The Whales with his wife Nadine and has now said Friday's (July 25) episode would be his last, with his voice was barely a whisper during the recording. He said: 'I'm in a hospice. I probably won't be here next week. I'm fine. I've got so many drugs in me, I can't feel a thing.' He then went on to say: 'A lot of people get really upset when someone is going to die. I'm the person who's going to die and I'm quite relaxed about it.' His wife Nadine also said that he had 'perked up' since arriving at the hospice and had changed his medications so he was 'more lucid'. She admitted she has been finding it harder to come to terms with his diagnosis, but praised how 'brilliantly' he has been coping with it. The couple said they had been crying a lot, reading messages and voice notes from listeners who praised Whale's contribution to their lives. When it came time to say goodbye to their listenership for the last time, he said to his wife: 'We've had the best time together haven't we. I love you.' More Trending He added: 'Thank you for being a listener. I hope it helps in some way. Who knows what is next so I can only say au revoir.' Earlier this year, Whale announced he had stopped receiving treatment and recently marked what he called his 'last birthday', surrounded by close friends and family. He has been a fixture of British broadcasting for over 50 years, receiving an MBE in the 2024 New Year Honours for services to broadcasting and charity. He also founded the James Whale Fund for Kidney Cancer in 2006 – now Kidney Cancer UK – the country's leading charity focused on the disease. Got a story? Death In Paradise star Ben Miller's life from famous exes to 'unmanageable' health condition

Ben Miller is best known for his role as Detective Inspector Richard Poole in BBC's Death In Paradise, but away from the screen he has lived a very interesting life Ben Miller, best known for his role as Detective Inspector Richard Poole in the first two series of Death In Paradise, left fans devastated when he exited the BBC show at the start of series three. The 59-year-old actor's departure was a shock to loyal viewers, with many claiming the show had been "ruined" after his character was killed off and replaced by Kris Marshall as Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman. ‌ Miller's decision to leave the crime drama came as he wanted to prioritise his family life, following the news that his wife was expecting their second child. Despite his successful stint on Death In Paradise, Miller began his career as a comedian, forming one half of the duo Armstrong and Miller. ‌ He also boasts roles as Angus Jeremy Bough in the Johnny English film series and James Lester in ITV's sci-fi series Primeval. He also appeared in the BBC One comedy, Austin, reports Wales Online. ‌ Off-screen, Miller is married to film producer Jessica Park, daughter of renowned TV and film musician Alan Parker. The couple, who wed in 2013, share three children and enjoy a quiet life in the Cotswolds. They welcomed their first son, Harrison, in 2011, followed by their daughter, Lana, in 2015. ‌ As a family, they grappled with Ben's demanding filming timetable, having discovered Jessica was expecting Harrison during the shooting of Death in Paradise's inaugural series. To handle the circumstances and move to a larger family residence, Jessica and Ben shifted from London to Cirencester. Discussing the relocation at the time, Ben revealed to The Telegraph: "We needed more room because our son, Harrison, who was three, was bouncing off the walls. I mean literally bouncing off the walls." ‌ Private life Before his romance with Jessica, Ben was wed to actress Belinda Stewart-Wilson, who gained recognition for her part in the beloved series The Inbetweeners as Will McKenzies' attractive mum, Polly. Belinda also achieved success in shows including Stay Close and Sick Note and even appeared alongside her then-husband Ben in Primeval. The pair tied the knot in 2004 and had a son, Sonny, in 2006 before they chose to separate, finalising their divorce in 2011. ‌ During a 2010 interview with The Guardian, Ben disclosed things had concluded amicably, sharing with the newspaper: "My wife and I have been separated for a while, but we have an arrangement where Sonny spends half the time with me and half the time with her. "I very much wanted the perfect nuclear family, and I came from the perfect nuclear family, but like so many people, that isn't the way things have worked out. I'm very lucky in that Belinda and I are good friends." ‌ In a previous piece for the Daily Mail, Ben also spoke warmly about his upbringing at Cambridge University's St Catherine's College. It was there that Ben truly began to discover himself as an individual. He found his passion for the performing arts and abandoned his studies to chase comedy instead. ‌ However, during his time at university, he also romanced a massively famous film star. Rachel Weisz is most recognised for her part in The Mummy film franchise as Evelyn O'Connell. He wrote: "I joined the Footlights drama club and met a lot of creative, witty people, including Rachel Weisz, who was my girlfriend for a time. Footlights gave me enormous confidence, and being around people who were so funny and clever was wonderful. ‌ 'Unmanageable' health condition The performer previously revealed his battle with OCD after landing the role in the ITV drama series Professor T, portraying the character Professor Jasper Tempest. In a subsequent chat with The Express, Ben admitted: "I did struggle a lot with OCD, particularly in my twenties, and I'm very lucky in that it's all very manageable now. But there were times where it was unmanageable." In the ITV programme, Jasper is a criminology genius who battles obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). ‌ Ben went on This Morning to discuss his part and what it truly signified to him, having also endured the condition throughout his life. In 2022, he said: "I've talked about this from the very beginning. I also have OCD, so when I came across this part, it was a very exciting moment for me to play this character. "My symptoms, I guess you could say, are very different and sort of present in different ways to the professor, and I also had cognitive behavioural therapy to help me, I suppose you could say, ameliorate [them]." Ben continued: "So, for me, it's very emotional to play this character because he's completely unashamed. I was always very ashamed of my OCD, that's one of the reasons why I got the treatment, [Professor T] doesn't really care. He makes everyone else go along with every single tiny detail of his regime." ‌ Outside of acting Beyond his acting career, Ben keeps himself occupied penning children's fiction novels. He's penned numerous beloved children's titles, including The Boy Who Made The World Disappear, Diary Of A Big Bad Wolf, and The Day I Fell Into A Fairytale. The entertainer recently appeared on Chris Evans' radio breakfast programme to discuss his chart-topping publications whilst promoting his eighth book, Once Upon a Legend. He revealed to Chris: "I get so much joy out of doing this. It's something I never thought I would end up doing. I started out doing comedy with Alexander Armstrong. We were so focused on sketches. "You take a little side road and you think, 'I'll write a little story, and you end up in a whole new area that you'd never even imagined."

Jeremy Vine forced to apologise after caller's 'disgusting' on-air remark to Ann Widdecombe

The Jeremy Vine Show was quickly halted on Friday after a caller made a rude and explicit comment to Ann Widdecombe during an intense debate about doctors' strikes Channel 5 viewers were left shocked when a caller made inappropriate remarks towards Ann Widdecombe live on the Jeremy Vine show last Friday. The host, Jeremy Vine, was joined by commentators Ann, aged 77, and James Schneider, a former Labour adviser to Jeremy Corbyn. ‌ The panel was discussing the latest doctors' strikes which began on July 25th. They spoke with a caller named Gregg from Tyne and Wear, who shared that he had previously worked as a junior doctor for five years before leaving the profession to earn five times more at another company. ‌ Gregg stated: "[Being a doctor] is not about the money for me. It's about the love of the job - it was the hardest decision I had to make. But I have just one thing I need to pose to Ann Widdecombe?" ‌ He then asked: "Hi Ann, how are you?" To which she responded: "How're you?" Gregg replied: "I'm good thanks for asking. I'm off to work soon but me and a few of the lads at the plant..." At this point, Jeremy interrupted, saying: "Hang on Greg. You're not going to be rude to Ann. I can just feel the storm coming." Ann retorted: "He can be rude to me," reports the Express. Gregg then made an inappropriate comment, saying: "I was just wondering if she was going to get her t**s out for the lads." ‌ Jeremy quickly intervened, halting the show and stating: "You see, I saw it coming. The guy's a clown." Ann agreed, saying: "You did see it coming." "I did see it coming. It's ridiculous. I could tell," Jeremy added. "And apologies for the language there. Let's move on." Viewers were left fuming after the inappropriate comment was aired, with many expressing their outrage on social media. One user vented: "Absolutely pathetic. 12-year-old ringing up. Horrible mysogny as well. #jeremyvine." Another seethed: "Pathetic man, doing that to Ann. These jokes are so old - he must have the IQ of a 10-year-old to think it's still funny #jeremyvine." A third chimed in: "What a twat! I'm no fan of Ann, but speaking to her like that is disgusting! #jeremyvine." Jeremy promptly issued an apology live on the show following the incident.
