British tourist, 68, found dead at Greek holiday island after being pulled unconscious from water
The man had reportedly gone swimming and lost consciousness on the island of Rhodes, local media has reported.

Officers from the Central Port Authority of Rhodes rushed to the scene of the incident at the popular tourist spot of Lindos.
He was pulled unconscious from the beach, according to reports.
The man was rushed to the Archangelos Health Centre, but was sadly pronounced dead.
His exact cause of death is not yet known.
An autopsy is expected to be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
He is not the only Brit to have died while on holiday in recent months.

Man accused of deliberately trying to injure ex-partner in M1 crash is jailed
A former bus driver whose ex partner believed he had driven into the back of a lorry on the M1 to kill her - has been jailed four years. Dubliner Anthony Smyth, 55, of Orchard Villas, Newry, Co Down, admitted dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm on the M1 at Feede, Dundalk on May 18, 2023. A second count of endangerment is being taken into consideration. At Dundalk Circuit Court, Judge Dara Hayes said: 'He used his car as a weapon against his ex-partner and he could have killed them both.' The court heard Smyth's ex-partner of 32 years believed Smyth was bringing her to a hospital in Newry. However, between Junctions 19 and 20, the Audi was travelling at between 160kph and 175kph in a 120kph zone and skirting between two lanes before it crashed into a flatbed trailer. Teenager convicted for not insuring surprise birthday gift car before receiving it
A TEENAGER has received a criminal conviction for not being insured for her car – before she had received it for her 18th birthday. However, the DVLA charged her with keeping an uninsured vehicle and brought a criminal prosecution over the unpaid bill. She pleaded guilty to the offence, which took place a few weeks before her 18th birthday.
