THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Clip Sees Silver Surfer Arrive on Earth - "I Herald Galactus" — GeekTyrant

Geek Tyranta day ago
Marvel Studios has released a new clip from The Fantastric Four: First Steps and it features the moment that Silver Surfer (Julia Garner) arrives on Earth and warns the people about the coming of Galactus.
It's kind of an eerie ominous scene as Shalla-Bal says, "Your planet is now marked for death. Your world will be consumed by the devourer. There is nothing you can do to stop him, for he is a universal force as essential as the stars."
"Hold your loved ones close and speak the words you've been afraid to speak. Use this time to rejoice and celebrate, for your time is short. I herald his beginning, I herald your end. I herald...Galactus."
'Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel's First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ben Grimm/The Thing—as they face their most daunting challenge yet.
'Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus' plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren't bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.'
Directed by WandaVision 's Matt Shakman, the film boasts a high-profile cast led by Pedro Pascal (Reed), Vanessa Kirby (Sue), Joseph Quinn (Johnny), and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben), with a supporting lineup that includes John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne, Paul Walter Hauser, and Sarah Niles in yet-to-be-revealed roles.
The script was originally written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer, it was revised by Cameron Squires and Avatar: The Way of Water co-writer Josh Friedman, with Eric Pearson ( Thor: Ragnarok, Black Widow ) giving it the final pass.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps in theaters on July 25, 2025.

Rumored AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Plot Leak May Spoil The Entire First Act — GeekTyrant

An Avengers: Doomsday plot leak is making the rounds, and if it's legit, it might have just revealed everything that goes down in the movie's first act. We're talking multiversal collisions, big team-ups, and the return of some very familiar faces. According to new online scooper James Mack, the leak supposedly outlines how the film kicks off, setting the stage for the Russo Brothers' massive return to the MCU. This is the movie where the Avengers, Fantastic Four, The New Avengers, and X-Men reportedly unite against Doctor Doom , played by none other than Robert Downey Jr. Take it with the usual grain of salt, but let's break down what this leak claims: Shuri discovers the Incursions, collisions between universes, and alerts Captain America ( Sam Wilson ), Wong, Hulk, and Captain Marvel. The Fantastic Four arrive on Earth-616, looking for Franklin Richards, who's been kidnapped by Doctor Doom. Galactus is name-dropped, and Bucky seeks out Sam for help. A larger team forms, including Thor, Yelena Belova, M'Baku, Namor, and the Fantastic Four. They identify the incoming universe as the one where Monica Rambeau is stranded—also the home of the X-Men. Doom and Franklin are on that world, setting up a three-part mission: stop the Incursion, rescue Monica and Franklin, and take Doom down. America Chavez helps open the portal between worlds, though her role is reportedly limited to just that. A hero vs. hero battle erupts, but it's short-lived. Eventually, both sides realize they're being manipulated by a larger force, Doctor Doom, the TVA, and Loki all come into play. Nothing in this rundown sounds far-fetched especially considering what the multiverse has already thrown at us in Loki , Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness , and Spider-Man: No Way Home . But that might be exactly why some fans are skeptical. It's almost too on-the-nose. That said, the only official production tidbit comes from trusted insider Daniel Richtman, who noted: 'They are currently filming scenes taking place on F4's Earth like a baseball game.' A small detail, sure, but it suggests that Marvel's First Family will be getting some time on their own turf before crashing into Earth-616. Avengers: Doomsday is being directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, working from a script by longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely. The film is slated for release on December 18, 2026, with Avengers: Secret Wars to follow on December 17, 2027.

Ryan Gosling in Space: All About ‘Project Hail Mary,' Sci-Fi Adaptation

If you've ever been on BookTok (book TikTok), then you've probably heard of the wildly popular science fiction book Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Currently, it has over 800,000 ratings on Goodreads and even won the app's highly coveted Readers' Favorite Science Fiction Award back in 2021. Given all this success, it makes total sense that it's being turned into a movie, starring none other than Oscar-nominated actor Ryan Gosling as astronaut Ryland Grace. But what exactly is it going to be about? And when will the Project Hail Mary movie be released? We have all of that must-know information and more below. Project Hail Mary was originally published in May 2021 by Ballantine Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House. It follows an astronaut named Ryland Grace, who is the sole survivor of a desperate mission to stop humanity and Earth from perishing. The only problem? One day, he wakes up and doesn't know who he is or what his mission is. Desperate to figure it out, Ryland soon embarks on a mission to figure out what happened and how it could help him save everyone and everything. 'Ryland Grace, it's not a story of him trying to survive. It's much more about finding a way to solve this problem that has afflicted our sun,' Weir, the author of both Project Hail Mary and The Martian, turned into a movie in 2015 starring Matt Damon and directed by Ridley Scott, told Penguin Random House. 'I am very aware of the similarities between The Martian and Project Hail Mary. We have an isolated scientist far from Earth, doing a lot of problem solving, but I didn't want to have a re-run of any of the stuff from The Martian, so the problems that Ryland faces are completely different." 'For instance, he's got plenty of food. He's fine on the food and, with a few very minor exceptions, his ship works correctly. All of his equipment works, never breaks down and does what it's supposed to, because unlike Mark, who is stranded on Mars using equipment that's supposed to last for 30 days and has to live there for two years, Grace is on a ship that was made for this purpose.' Shortly after the book was released, it was announced that Project Hail Mary would be turned into a movie by MGM studios with Gosling (The Notebook and Barbie) set to take on the role of Ryland. The film will also star Sandra Hüller (Toni Erdmann and Anatomy of a Fall). It will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who previously collaborated as filmmakers on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), and written by Drew Goddard, who also wrote the screenplay for The Martian in 2015. Weir is expected to work on the film as a producer. 'It's an insanely ambitious story that's massive in scope, and it seemed really hard to make, and that's kind of our bag,' Gosling said about the film at CinemaCon, per Variety. 'This is why we go to the movies, and I'm not just saying it because I'm in it. I'm also saying it because I'm a producer on the film.' Marvel Studios Reportedly Still Hasn't Finalized AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY's Third Act — GeekTyrant

Marvel Studios may be knee-deep in production on Avengers: Doomsday , but according to a new report, the film's third act still hasn't been locked in. That might sound wild considering the scope of the project, but for longtime MCU watchers, it's basically business as usual. Originally slated for release in May 2026, Doomsday was recently pushed to December 18, giving Marvel a bit more breathing room. While fans were understandably bummed by the delay, most agreed it was the right call, especially if it helps the film stick its big landing. As it turns out, Doomsday started rolling cameras without a fully finished script from longtime MCU scribe Stephen McFeely. Scooper Daniel Richtman claims the third act still isn't finalized. But, Marvel has a long history of shaping major set pieces mid-production. Richtman also offered a peek at what's currently filming in the UK. Scenes are being shot in The Void, the realm of pruned realities where we last saw in Loki. That is sure to open the door for some wild multiversal surprises. He also shared that Marvel is filming scenes set on The Fantastic Four's Earth, one of which takes place during a baseball game. There's also a mention that Marvel is still 'mulling over a Silver Surfer project,' which, if true, lines up with the cosmic scale Doomsday seems to be aiming for. Tom Hiddleston, who's confirmed to return as Loki, recently weighed in on his surprising return. While many thought Loki Season 2 was his swan song, even Hiddleston didn't know what Marvel had planned. Her said: "I didn't know that, so I was sincere in my conviction that I thought it was the end [Laughs]. I wasn't lying to you, I promise. I didn't know then what the plan was. I'm trying to think how long I've known... it's very exciting." He's all in for what's next: "[Laughs] Yes. I do know some things. It's an extraordinary privilege to still be on the team, and there are more stories to tell. I feel like the character has grown as I've grown. It's genuinely an honour to still be in the squad." Avengers: Doomsday is directed by the Russo Brothers. Their return brings major expectations, especially as they set the stage for Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027. For now, the movie remains a multiversal mystery in motion. Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18, 2026, with Avengers: Secret Wars scheduled to arrive on December 17, 2027.
