Actors Suraj Pratap Singh and Savi Thakur get candid about meaningful connections this friendship day

Friends are the family we choose. They shape our memories, help us grow, and offer silent strength when we need it the most. This Friendship Day, Sun Neo actors Suraj Pratap Singh and Savi Thakur share heartfelt reflections on the meaning of true friendship and how it impacts their lives on and off screen. Suraj Pratap Singh, who plays Prem in Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani, says, 'There are so many types of love, but I feel friendship is one of the most special.' He adds, 'I've never had a huge group of friends, but the few childhood friends I do have are very close to my heart. Real friendship is when someone shows up in your worst moments without being asked.' He also revealed that his portrayal of Prem has been influenced by his real-life friends. 'I'm calm and quiet in real life, unlike Prem. But I've added many traits of my friends into the character, and that's helped me perform better.' Savi Thakur, who plays Rudra in Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri, shared a similar sentiment. 'Friendship is that one bond that doesn't break, no matter what,' he said. 'My best friend is Aman Sharma, who also plays my on-screen elder brother. We were close even before the show, but working together has brought us even closer. A fight scene between us turned out so good, people on set kept praising it!' He concluded with, 'It's always more fun when you work with your best friend. I hope we do more shows together.' Their stories serve as a beautiful reminder that genuine connections often go beyond the script — they stay with us, shape us, and make every journey richer.
