Jurors view dramatic moment armed police arrest neo-Nazi teenager in gun sting
It was the culmination of a 'highly sophisticated operation' in which Coleman was allegedly snared by an undercover officer from MI5.
Former Tesco worker Coleman had allegedly made an arrangement with the undercover officer for the supply of a Makarov pistol, five magazines and 200 rounds of ammunition.
Coleman, then aged 19, was allegedly told they would be in a Land Rover Discovery parked in the Morrisons car park in Stratford, east London, on the morning of September 29 2023.
Jurors have been shown video footage of the defendant, dressed in a black tracksuit with the hood up as he went to collect the weaponry.
In the video, he is seen leaving cash in the front passenger seat footwell and collecting a holdall from the boot.
But before he has walked 30 yards, he is confronted by counter-terrorism police officers pointing stun guns.
In front of shocked shoppers, Coleman drops to his knees and lies flat on the ground before being handcuffed.
Coleman has accepted having a significant quantity of extreme right-wing material and pleaded guilty to possessing 10 documents which contain information likely to be useful to terrorists.
The defendant, now aged 21, of Great Notley in Essex, has also pleaded guilty to attempting to possess both a firearm and ammunition but has denied he was preparing for a terrorist attack.
The Old Bailey trial continues.

The tribunal heard the gift was given David Orton, who, recognising it was a mug and "suspected that there may be something on the mug which might not be appropriate to show in a work meeting'. He opened it later at home, took a picture and popped it in the group chat, adding: 'I think I need to have a word with Santa.' Replies poured in from tickled co-workers, saying 'Haha brilliant', 'I am so jealous Dave' before Head of H&S Sally Smith, said: 'Just checked and thankfully Barry isn't on here yet is he!' To which another replied: 'Not yet!' But days later, Mr Cochrane was added to the company's Gmail group chat, and scrolled up to read messages sent before he had been added and became immediately offended at the light-hearted banter. Mr Cochrane, based in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, where Morrisons owns the Woodheads abattoir site, said the comments and mug left him 'very upset,' felt 'singled out for a cheap laugh.' He became so distressed he packed up his things and walked out, quitting his new post, claiming he'd been 'named in sexual content.' Mr Cochrane then took the matter to a tribunal and sued for unfair dismissal and sexual harassment, claiming: 'Instantly, my mental health took a massive hit.' Ms Smith said that she made the comment about Mr Cochrane because she thought 'oh what what will Barry think of us' having not been in the meeting or understanding the context of the message. Employment Judge Murdo Macleod dismissed Mr Cochrane's case, finding that his reaction was entirely 'disproportionate' and accused him of blowing it out of proportion so he could sue the company. He said: 'We consider that [Mr Cochrane's] reaction was disproportionate… 'It is clear to us that [Mr Cochrane] did not find the initial comment, nor the legend on the mug, to be offensive. He thought it was funny. 'His outrage at his name being mentioned on the thread is confected, with this litigation in mind. 'It is quite clear that if anyone was being singled out for ridicule, it was Mr Orton.' The panel dismissed Mr Cochrane's complaints in their entirety.

Urgent recall for 5 million above ground pools
By Published: Updated: The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) warns that when wrapped around the pool, the straps can create a foothold, allowing young children to climb in even when the ladder has been removed. The affected Bestway and Coleman models were sold between 2008 and 2024. Select Intex models purchased between 2002 and 2012, and Polygroup above-ground pools, which were sold between 2006 and 2025. CPSC investigators say the design flaw has been linked to the deaths of nine children, ages 22 months to 3 years, between 2007 and 2022. At least three additional incidents were reported in 2011 and 2012 in which children gained access to the pools. All of the pools range from $400 to over $1,000, and were sold at various retailers like Target, Lowe's, Sam's Club, Costco and Big Lots. For maximum safety, the CSPC suggests adults insure children cannot access the pool unattended or keep the pool drained until the kit is installed. The above-ground pools join a small string of summer essentials that have been recalled this year. Ready-to-eat chicken sausages that can be found at barbecues were recalled this month over fears of throat lacerations . The sausages were sold at Walmart and other retailers in 26 states, Washington DC and Puerto Rico. As of now, no injuries have been reported. The Endless Pools company also issued a massive recall on Manual Retractable Security Pool Covers due to drowning and entrapment hazards. Each affected cover could potentially leave a gap of over 4.5 inches between the cover roller and pool surface when incorrectly installed, which could be hazardous for young children. Some of the highest recalls of the year so far have been for automobiles, including one for 850,000 Ford vehicles in the US . The recent recall was made due to the potential failure of low-pressure fuel pumps, which can cause engine stalls.

Three women charged under Terrorism Act after van ploughed into Edinburgh factory fence
Police had been occupying a Morrisons supermarket car park in the capital next to the Leonardo factory site when the incident happened on Tuesday. Three women have been charged under the Terrorism Act after a van was ploughed into a fence outside a factory in Edinburgh. The incident took place during a disturbance on Crewe Road North, on Tuesday July 15. Police were earlier occupying a Morrisons supermarket car park on Ferry Road in the capital next to the Leonardo factory site which has previously been targeted by pro-Palestine activists. At least five police vans with riot cops were in attendance inside a cordon. Three women - aged 31, 34 and 42 - have now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. They will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday July 21. Police Scotland's Counter Terrorism Unit are leading the investigation and enquiries are ongoing. As part of the probe, cops are looking to trace the movements of a blue Ford Transit van on Gorgie Road on Monday July 14 and before the incident on Tuesday. "They are also keen to trace the movements of a white Honda CR-Z on these dates. It was recovered from a carpark in Gorgie Road following the incident. "Anyone who saw either vehicle in the area, or has any information, is asked to contact police. If anyone was in the Crewe Road North or Gorgie Road areas and has any relevant dashcam footage or saw anything suspicious, please contact police on 101 quoting reference 0416 of 15 July."
