
'Wednesday' Season 2: Everything We Know About The Netflix Series' Upcoming Season
Most recently, Netflix unveiled a new teaser for the upcoming season, featuring members of the Addams Family who were absent from the first. So, to get us all excited, here's a recap of everything we know about 'Wednesday' Season 2 so far:
1. The new season will be split into 2 parts
Unlike most television series, 'Wednesday' Season 2 will not be released all at once. It was reported in April that the season will be split into two parts, with the first four episodes premiering on 6th August 2025, followed by the remainder on 3rd September. While the reason for this was never specified, it was speculated that it is 'simply another way for Netflix to refresh its platform and build hype for its most popular series', according to Screenrant.
2. Hollywood's biggest stars will guest-star in the upcoming season
As previously reported, the upcoming season will feature some of Hollywood's biggest names and more. Lady Gaga, Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Christopher Lloyd, and Haley Joel Osment are among the celebrities set to appear in the show.
3. The extended Addams Family will also be introduced
As mentioned earlier, the latest teaser offers a first look at other members of the Addams family who did not appear in the first season. The new, altogether ooky family portrait features Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Victor Dorobantu as Thing, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Joanna Lumley as Grandmama Hester Frump, Joonas Suotamo as Lurch, and Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester.
4. The title of episode 1 is 'Here We Woe Again'
Netflix previously confirmed the title of the first episode of the sophomore season, which is 'Here We Woe Again'. Other newly confirmed episode titles, in no particular order, are 'Hide and Woe Seek', 'This Means Woe', and 'Woe Thyself'. Ever since these titles were announced, fans have been making guesses on what they could possibly mean based on the clues and hints given from teasers and trailers. Guess we'll have to wait till the new season comes out to confirm those theories.
5. Season 2 will feature more horror
Jenna Ortega previously revealed on the Variety 'Actors on Actors' chat with Elle Fanning that the upcoming season of 'Wednesday' will lean more into the horror aspect than romance. 'We've decided we want to lean into the horror aspect of the show a little bit more because it is so lighthearted, and a show like this with vampires and werewolves and superpowers, you don't want to take yourself too seriously. We're ditching any romantic love interest for Wednesday, which is really great,' said the actress.

AN elderly couple from Kuala Lumpur were left heartbroken after making a trip to Kuak Hulu, Perak, only to discover that a cable car attraction they saw online didn't actually exist. The video that led them there was entirely generated using artificial intelligence (AI). ALSO READ: Customer calls out restaurant for displaying AI generated images on food delivery app The incident came to light after a Threads user, @dyaaaaaaa._, shared her encounter with the couple, who had checked into a hotel in Kuak Hulu and inquired about the cable car. 'There was this elderly couple who came to check in at the hotel, and they asked me, 'Have you gone on the cable car ride at Kuak Hulu?' I thought they were joking, so I replied, 'Didn't have time to go.' 'Then they told me they had come all the way from KL just to ride that cable car. I was stunned,' she wrote. When she broke the news that no such attraction existed, the couple were in disbelief. 'I asked them, 'Are you serious?' and they said, 'Yes, really.' I felt so bad. I explained to them that the video they saw was AI-generated and fake. 'But the aunty said, 'No way, why would people lie like that? 'There was even a reporter in the video!' Despite her repeated explanations, the couple struggled to accept the truth. 'Then the uncle turned to his wife and asked, 'So what now?' I asked them, 'Didn't you ask your children before coming here?' And he said, 'We were embarrassed to ask.' 'The aunty then said, 'But you should have commented on the video to say it's not true.' 'She said they saw the video on Facebook, but I saw it on TikTok. I don't even have a Facebook account,' her post read. The situation worsened when the woman threatened to sue the 'journalist' featured in the AI-created footage, believing it was an actual news segment. 'She said she wants to sue the 'reporter' in the video. I told her, 'Aunty, the person in the video isn't real. It was all edited.' And she said, 'How could they do this to people?' The Threads user concluded her post with a reminder to be vigilant and to check in on older family members who might be vulnerable to online misinformation. 'So please, if your parents love to travel, make sure to ask them where they're going. Otherwise, something like this could happen — they came all the way from KL to Perak for nothing.' The AI-generated video, which is still circulating on platforms like TikTok and Facebook, uses convincing visuals and voiceovers mimicking news reports — making it difficult for some to distinguish fact from fiction.

K-pop stars have gone above and beyond to show their love for their fans. Recently, Stray Kids' (스트레이 키즈) leader, Bang Chan (방찬), went viral for how he treated disabled fans at the group's concert in North America. Over the weekend, the group performed in Toronto, Canada, as part of their ongoing 'dominATE' world tour. During the performance, Bang Chan went into the crowd to greet fans in the audience. However, the idol received praise after clips showed how he prioritised disabled fans. In one TikTok video, the idol stopped to interact with a fan in a wheelchair, chatting with her and her group of friends. The 27-year-old then moved towards another section of the venue to greet other fans who were also in wheelchairs. It's believed that Bang Chan purposely approached the venue's accessibility zone to greet fans in the area. The clip also showed him taking more time to speak with fans with limited movement. The TikTok video has since gone viral and was reshared on other social media platforms. Bang Chan received praise for his actions and attitude towards his fans. In the comments, fans commended the Stray Kids leader for his thoughtfulness and respectful behaviour. Others also called the interactions a showcase of Bang Chan's genuine love for his fans. At the same time, some netizens also thanked fans for not mobbing the idol when he walked around the venue. Interestingly, this news comes after the rapper went viral for showing concern to fans during a chaotic concert in Washington. For context, several fans at Stray Kids' recent show in Washington suffered from heat exhaustion caused by the heatwave and dehydration. Taking note of this issue, Bang Chan reportedly paid for drinking water to be distributed to fans in the concert hall to ensure their health and safety.
