Vidić was speaking on The Overlap, brought to you by Sky Bet, when he spoke on his frustrations with Neville's annoying training ground habit.
Vidic had recently made the move to England from Russian outfit Spartak Moscow in 2006, and was struggling to adapt to Man Utd's morning training.
This discomfort was only made worse by Neville's incessant talking, which drove Vidic to snap back every day.
He said: "I did not realise why he was talking all the time when I come in in the morning.

Ibrahima Konate to Real Madrid transfer will be 'finalised in coming days'
Report in Spain claims Liverpool will be bidding farewell to France defender Ibrahima Konate in the coming days because Real Madrid are desperate to sign him Liverpool are gearing up for their first pre-season friendly, away to Preston North End, this afternoon with a number of touching tributes set to be paid to Diogo Jota. The game should also provide Reds fans with a first look of new signings Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez following an early summer spending spree to equip Arne Slot with a squad capable of retaining their Premier League title. But, as ever, the transfer rumour mill continues to spin and having spent £200m on new signings, talk surrounds players who may up being sold to balance the books. Here are some of the rumours doing the rounds - and some of them may even hold a grain of truth. Konate to Madrid Real Madrid have "reached a comprehensive agreement" with Ibrahima Konate, according to the Spanish outlet Fichajes, who add that they are set to pay £43m in a "deal that will be finalised in the coming days. The report adds that Konate "meets the qualities Xabi Alonso considers essential to compete at the highest level" and the defender, who has a year left on his deal, "is not considering any other alternative at this time." Guehi latest Two plus two was equalling five yesterday with suggestions that Marc Guehi is more likely to move away from Crystal Palace now they had been demoted to the Conference League because of a multiclub ownership issue. But there are also suggestions that Parma's Giovanni Leoni and Wolfsburg's Konstantinos Koulierakis are "being watched," according to a Substack blog by David Lynch. Starlet's deal Youngster Rio Ngumoha will sign his first professional contract with Liverpool following his 17th birthday next month, according to the Echo. The Reds pulled off a coup last summer when signing the highly-rated teenager from Chelsea and he made a senior debut in the FA Cup third round win over Accrington Stanley in January despite still being on a scholarship deal. He has been tipped to feature again under Slot during pre-season. Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content. Bryan Mbeumo offers fresh Man Utd hint as Ruben Amorim gets £10m boost
Manchester United remain keen on Bryan Mbeumo, who has continued to make it clear he wants the move, as player sales elsewhere benefit Ruben Amorim's budget this summer Manchester United's transfer business has firmly stalled with Matheus Cunha still their only major summer signing after he joined from Wolves for just over £60million earlier in the summer. Their attention is now on Bryan Mbeumo, who has excelled for Brentford, but they've seen two bids for the forward rejected and are yet to return with a third bid. The player himself wants the move but the Bees have not eased off their valuation. Ruben Amorim also has a number of players whom he needs to either back or more on. The likes of Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho all headed out on loan last term but are back at Old Trafford despite not appearing to be part of the plan. Alejandro Garnacho is another man who could be on his way out as the club look to bolster their funds with a No 9 thought to be on their shopping list. A dire Premier League underlined the need to change the look of the squad and here's the latest news coming out of Manchester. Mbeumo's latest hint Mbeumo has liked Leny Yoro's Instagram post after he confirmed his return to United training in what is the latest hint that he's keen on making the switch. The Cameroonian has made no secret of his desire to move on and take up the opportunity at the Premier League giants, who are trying to land more firepower in a bid to get them back up the table. His latest move on Instagram has appeared to underline his motivation to move on. He liked Yoro's post despite the pair having no prior involvement as team-mates. The Frenchman put up a post that read: "ReUnited" alongside an image of him going through his paces and Mbeumo was among those to like the post, along with current Old Trafford stars Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot. Club banking £10m plus from sell-on fees United's summer business is being aided by the millions they are receiving from sell-on fees they previously included in deals with Alvaro Carreras - who never played a game for the club - due to bank them more than £7m. Newcastle have just signed Antony Elanga from Nottingham Forest, which has cost the Magpies £55m. As per the clauses inserted in the deal that took Elanga from Manchester to Nottingham, United will land 15 percent of profit on any deal. Given he moved for £55m, United are said to have picked up around £6m of the fee, reports The Telegraph. Former United left back Carreras is set to land them even more cash as he is on the verge of leaving Benfica to join Real Madrid for around £43m after an impressive year in Lisbon. He moved to Portugal 12 months ago for around £7m, which means Benfica will pocket around £36m of profit. 20 percent of that - £7.2m - will go to United and further bolster their summer budget. Juve agree Sancho fee Juventus have agreed a £17.3m deal with United for Jadon Sancho as the player looks for a way out of Old Trafford following Chelsea's decision to send him back after his loan move. According to La Stampa the Red Devils were holding out for closer to £25m for the former Borussia Dortmund man, who cost them £70m back in 2021, but have decided to ease on their demands in a bid to get the flop out the door. Sancho refused to budge on his £350,000-a-week wage when Chelsea considered signing him, meaning they pulled out of a deal as they refused to pay that much. His salary could still prove a major sticking point when it comes to negotiations with Juventus.

McInnes: ‘It is clear we have work to do'
Even Derek McInnes said the 4-1 scoreline in Hearts favour against Dunfermline in Group E of the Premier Sports Cup was flattering for the Tynecastle men, but he added: 'It is clear that we have work to do.' was pleased that the Jambos had bounced back after being pegged back by The Pars. Overall, Hearts enjoyed 56 per cent of the possession and the visitors 44 per cent and the home side had 19 shots against three from their opposition. Head coach McInnes said that he asked for a strong start, which he got. He added: 'We could have been a couple up before wee Wilson gets one, and we settled down. We had a few good moments after that, and we should have been better. 'The one real opportunity Dunfermline had, I think it was their first shot, they scored, and it sets you back and it sets the crowd back. This isn't going to script. This is not what is meant to happen.' He revealed that at half-time the coaching staff tried to settle the boys down and they stressed that this was now a 45 minute game. McInnes said: 'I thought we had decent control, but I did not think we were going to lose the game. I was not convinced we were going to win it. I probably made the substitutions five minutes too late but Dunfermline, for the first time in the game, thought they could win this. 'They got encouragement from us not being as composed and as sure of ourselves as we should have been.' The Pars started promoting a few more bodies into Hearts half for the first time and McInnes said: 'We have done them going the other way. 'The scoreline runs away from them. We won the game 4-1, it flatters us, it is harsh on Dunfermline' The coach said he enjoyed the first 25 minutes, and the last 15 minutes of the game and stressed: 'Everything in between was OK, and it is clear that we have work to do.' Hearts struck early, James Wilson following-up to net after Lawrence Shankland had curved a shot with his right foot against an upright. Time three minutes. It appeared that the visitors were in for a long afternoon as Hearts buzzed around sun-kissed Tynecastle, eager to claim a second, picking up scraps with lively Cammy Devlin beavering away in midfield, and forcing the play. The Men in Maroon hemmed Dunfermline in and Neil Lennon's side did not have a goal attempt until Josh Cooper netted with a crisp shot from the edge of the box after poor back-pass. The strike after 38 minutes shook the home fans. It also silenced some of the more vociferous members of the Main Stand crowd who were on the ex-Hibs bosses back from the first whistle. Two penalties in three minutes ended the contest. He was not sure if the first was a penalty, when the goalkeeper was adjudged to have brought down Alan Forrest, the second one, was a clear penalty which really annoyed Lennon. Both dispatched by skipper Lawrence Shankland into the bottom left-hand corner, after 75 and 79 minutes, with the goalkeeper going the other way. Substitute Stephen Kingsley rounded off the scoring by calmly placing a left foot shot beyond Dunfermline goalkeeper Deniz Mehmet with a minute of the four minutes of injury time gone. The goal came from a corner taken by Harry Milne on the right and how the Jambos fans in the crowd of 12,900 celebrated. They went home happy despite some anxious moments after the Dunfermline equaliser. There is no doubt they grew into the game and Lennon was pleased with their effort and praised the 1,500 fans who made the trip and contributed greatly to the atmosphere inside Tynecastle. Lennon added: 'I did not think we started the game well at all and we conceded early and from 30 minutes to 70 minutes I thought we controlled the game and were the better team which is a big plus for me. Then individual errors cost us, I don't know if it is inexperience or fatigue. 'I thought we were very good second-half, but we need some strength in depth, but there are a lot of positive signs for me.' PICTURES: Derek McInnes salutes the crowd and meets the mascots.
