Man rushed to hospital following hit-and-run in Stratford
Officers rushed to reports of a collision in The Grove, Stratford, at around 12.25pm yesterday afternoon. A pedestrian was treated at the scene, with the driver having left before police could arrive. A London Air Ambulance was also dispatched to the scene of the incident.
Police are trying to locate the driver. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote CAD 2909/15March.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: 'We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance.
'The first paramedic arrived in less than seven minutes. The patient was treated for serious injuries at the scene before being taken by road to a major trauma centre as a priority.'

Woman dies in hospital after escaping flat fire in south west London
A woman has died in hospital after escaping a fire in a flat in Fulham. The fire broke out in Marinefield Road, Sands End, a residential area next to the Thames just after 9am on June 27. The woman escaped the flat before two fire engines and around 10 firefighters arrived. She was treated by the London Ambulance Service but later died in hospital. An hour later the fire was under control, having damaged part of the three-roomed home. The cause of the fire under investigation by the London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service. An LFB spokesperson said: 'Sadly, a woman has died following a fire in Sands End, Fulham. 'Two fire engines and around 10 firefighters responded to reports of a fire on Marinefield Road. 'Part of a three-roomed flat was damaged by the fire. 'One woman left the property before crews arrived and was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service. Sadly, she later died at hospital. 'The Brigade was first called about the incident at 0909, with crews from Fulham and Chelsea mobilised to the scene. Firefighters had the fire under control by 1009. 'The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade's specialist fire investigators and the Metropolitan Police Service.' The Met Police have been contacted for more information.

Chelsea Embankment multi-vehicle crash injures five with three rushed to hospital
Five people have been injured in a crash on the Chelsea Embankment in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, July 1). Three people were rushed to hospital following the incident. Chelsea Embankment has reopened after being closed in a westbound direction for around nine hours from Tite Street to the B302 Royal Hospital Road, according to AA Traffic News. Ambulance crews rushed to the scene of the crash on Chelsea Embankment at around 1.20am this morning. One person was rushed to a major trauma centre, while two others were taken to a local hospital. Two others were also treated at the scene. Man dies after Greenwich crash between car and cyclist
A man has died after a crash between a car and cyclist in Greenwich yesterday (Monday, June 30). Two others were also treated by paramedics at the scene. Ambulance crews rushed to reports of a crash between a car and a cyclist on Creek Road at around 4pm yesterday afternoon. One man was taken to hospital and two treated at the scene. A second man died at the scene of the incident. Creek Road has now reopened after it was closed between Deptford and Greenwich yesterday afternoon. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: 'We were called today (Mon 30) at 4.07pm to reports of a car in collision with a cyclist in Creek Road, SE8.
