Trailer for George Clooney and Adam Sandler's Netflix Film JAY KELLY From Director Noah Baumbach — GeekTyrant
Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for Jay Kelly , the latest film from director Noah Baumbach, and it gives us a first look at what looks like a personal and introspective character journey. George Clooney stars in the title role, playing an aging movie star grappling with his legacy, fame, and identity. Adam Sandler plays his longtime manager, Ron, and the two set off across Europe in what starts as a professional obligation and slowly becomes something much more profound. The trailer is packed with sharp dialogue and quiet reflection. 'What do you say to people who say you only play yourself?' one character asks Kelly. His reply: 'You know how difficult it is to be yourself? You try it.' Baumbach, known for his character-driven dramas like Marriage Story and The Meyerowitz Stories , co-wrote the script with Emily Mortimer, who also appears in the film. The supporting cast is stacked with talent including Laura Dern, Riley Keough, Billy Crudup, Greta Gerwig, Patrick Wilson, and Stacy Keach. Jay Kelly is Baumbach's fourth feature for Netflix and will make its world premiere next month in competition at the Venice Film Festival. The film will hit select theaters on November 14 before landing on Netflix December 5. The movie is produced by David Heyman, Amy Pascal, and Baumbach, and this one looks like it could be a major awards contender with a pair of leads we've never seen quite like this before.

Leslie Odom Jr. joins ‘Hamilton' this September. How much are tickets?
Vivid Seats is the New York Post's official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase. Featured pricing is subject to change. One of Broadway's greatest villains — Aaron Burr — is returning to the scene of the crime. Starting Sept. 9, Leslie Odom Jr. will step back into the disgraced former Vice President's shoes for the second time in his career. This time around, he'll portray the Newark native in 'Hamilton' for 12 weeks at Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre. As of now, he's scheduled to take his final Midtown bow on Wednesday, Nov. 26. The juicy role, which netted Odom Jr. a Tony and Grammy during his historic 2015-16 run with Lin-Manuel Miranda, is one he can't wait to slip back into. 'Returning to 'Hamilton' is a deeply meaningful homecoming,' Odom, Jr. said in a statement. 'I'm so grateful for the chance to step back into the room — especially during this anniversary moment — and to revisit this brilliant piece that forever changed my life and the lives of so many.' According to The Associated Press, the gifted performer speculated he played Burr approximately 500 times in the mid-2010s but never tired of the part. 'It still had revelation for me, and it still gave me reason to look a little deeper and focus a little harder,' he noted. In an interview with The Today Show announcing his Great White Way comeback, he also teased more 'Hamil-ten' surprises, since the show is celebrating a decade since its inception. 'I'm not breaking any other news here today,' he coyly told host Savannah Guthrie. '…but I know they have a lot of wonderful things planned. It's a big deal and we're going to celebrate all year long.' If you'd like to be in the err, umm, uhh, 'Room Where It Happens' (sorry), tickets are available for all 88 Leslie Odom Jr. 'Hamilton' shows. At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for any one performance was $634 including fees on Vivid Seats. Based on our findings, all other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $637 to $1,613 including fees. Seats for Odom Jr.'s opening night are $642 including fees; the final show is going for $656 including fees. Although that's certainly pricey, keep in mind it was reported by Financial Planner LA that 'Hamilton' tickets were going for as high as $42.5K in 2017. All of a sudden, tickets under $700 doesn't sound so bad. Need a bit more information before smashing the 'buy Burr tickets' button? We're here to help. Our team has everything you need to know and more about Leslie Odom Jr.'s 2025 'Hamilton' stint as well as his solo tour below. All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation. Black Sabbath's Geezer Butler Reflects on Band's Final Rehearsals, Concert Before Ozzy Osbourne's Death: He Was So 'Frail'
Black Sabbath co-founder Geezer Butler recalls being surprised at how 'frail' Ozzy Osbourne was in the weeks leading up to the band's last concert on July 5. In a post on The Sunday Times, bassist Butler recounted the rehearsals for the show in Villa Park, located in Birmingham, England, not far from where he and Osbourne grew up. Butler and fellow Black Sabbath co-founders Tony Iommi and Bill Ward had started rehearsing about a month for their final show. More from The Hollywood Reporter Jennifer Lopez Laughs Off Wardrobe Malfunction During Concert: "I'm Glad I Had Underwear On" British Comic Nish Kumar on How YouTube Helped Him Achieve Success Outside of the U.K. Tom Lehrer, Musical Satirist Whose Influence Peaked in the '50s and '60s, Dies at 97 'Of course, not having played together for 20 years, it took a couple of days to get rid of the rust,' Butler wrote. 'Then it was time for Ozzy to join us. I knew he wasn't in good health, but I wasn't prepared to see how frail he was. He was helped into the rehearsal room by two helpers and a nurse and was using a cane — being Ozzy, the cane was black and studded with gold and precious stones. He didn't really say much beyond the usual greetings and when he sang, he sat in a chair. We ran through the songs but we could see it was exhausting him after six or seven songs. We had a bit of a chat, but he was really quiet compared with the Ozzy of old. After a couple more weeks we were ready for the show.' The show did go on, with a slew of celebrities making appearances during the 10-hour concert, titled 'Back to the Beginning.' 'Fans lucky to be there surely had an immersive stadium show experience they'll never forget,' wrote Lina Lecaro in a recap for The Hollywood Reporter. But, for Butler, 'the strangest part of that show was the end,' he wrote. 'Normally, we would all hug each other and take a bow to the audience. But Ozzy was on his throne and we hadn't thought that out. What do we do? Tony shook his hand, I presented him with a cake, but it was such a strange feeling to end our story like that. I wish I'd had more time backstage with Ozzy, but wishes are redundant now. As Ozzy used to say: 'Wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which comes first.' 'Nobody knew he'd be gone from us little more than two weeks after the final show,' Butler continued. But I am so grateful we got to play one last time together in front of his beloved fans.' Osbourne died July 22 at age 76. He revealed his Parkinson's disease diagnosis in 2020. In his post, Butler also wrote about how he met Osbourne and the band's early years. He remembered another side of Osbourne, who earned the nickname 'The Prince of Darkness.' 'To me, Ozzy wasn't the Prince of Darkness — if anything he was the Prince of Laughter,' Butler wrote. 'He'd do anything for a laugh, a born entertainer.' But he was also a good friend, Butler recalled. 'We became inseparable brothers in arms, always looking out for each other,' he wrote. 'People always thought Ozzy was a feral wild man, but he had a heart of pure gold. Most of his infamous antics — the bat saga, biting the head off a dove, pissing on the Alamo, snorting lines of ants and the rest — came in his solo years, away from the restraints of the Sabbath crew. But if you were a friend in need, Ozzy was always there for you. When my son was born with a heart defect, Ozzy called me every day to see how I was coping, even though we hadn't spoken for a year.' Butler also showed appreciation for the fans who showed up at the last concert to celebrate Osbourne. 'The love from the fans and all the bands, musicians, singers and solo artists that night was incredible,' he wrote. 'Everyone had come to pay homage to the Prince. I am so privileged to have spent most of my life with him. Of course there are millions of things I will think of that I should have written, but how can I sum up 57 incredible years of friendship in a few paragraphs? God bless, Oz, it has been one hell of a ride! Love you!' Butler, Iommi and Ward also paid tribute — along with other stars — to Osbourne on social media last week.
