My holy-grail drugstore mascara is now even cheaper for Amazon Prime Day
This mascara has taken pride of place as my everyday mascara ever since I first tried it, thanks to its lash-lengthening and volumising powers. The formula feels lightweight and doesn't clump, and the wand manages to catch every one of my lashes. And best of all, I've never experienced any fallout.
Having worked my way through many a tube of this mascara, I'm constantly on the hunt for a deal on it – and I'm pleased to say that I've just spotted that it's currently reduced at Amazon to £5.99 thanks to Prime Day.
It's safe to say I'm running to the checkout to get my hands on it. Keep reading for why I think you should do the same.
One of my favourite innovations in the make-up world is the glow-up that mascara wands have had. Over the years, they've developed from thick bristles that simply aren't as effective at separating lashes to spiky, plastic heads that easily glide through, distributing product evenly and sparingly. Maybelline's sky high mascara has one such wand, and I instantly fell in love with it.
Its uniquely designed brush is long, thin and densely packed with tiny plastic bristles, which make it ideal for getting to hard-to-reach areas and easy to manoeuvre from all angles with minimal mess. In my in-depth review of the mascara, I also rave about the tiny bristles that line the wand, which I have found 'help comb through each and every lash – yes, even those pesky ones right in the corner'.
The mascara itself isn't flaky, meaning it doesn't drop throughout the day and feels lightweight on lashes. I also find that when I swipe the product on my lashes, which are relatively short and stubborn, they look significantly longer and separated. If you're all about volume, then this mascara may not be for you, but if length is your game, then there are few better products out there. It is buildable, and you can take your lashes from incredibly natural to dramatic without the product feeling crusty or dry.
I love this mascara and will definitely be taking advantage of this saving on Amazon today. I'd highly recommend doing the same if you're looking to say hello to long lashes. Thank me later.

Christina Aguilera, 44, flashes her underwear beneath a daring black string dress as she leads stars at the Burlesque: The Musical world premiere in London
Christina Aguilera was a vision as she attended the world premiere of Burlesque: The Musical at The Savoy Theatre in London on Tuesday. The Genie In A Bottle hitmaker, 44, left little to the imagination as she showcased her underwear beneath a daring black string mini dress. She teamed the striking look with black stockings and elevated her slimmed-down frame with a pair of sleek black heels. The pop legend completed her head-turning ensemble with silver jewellery and a bold plum lipstick. Christina posed up a storm on the red carpet before joining producer Steve Antin. The pair appeared in high spirits as they smiled for photos, with Steve planting a sweet kiss on Christina's cheek. The Genie In A Bottle hitmaker, 44, left little to the imagination as she showcased her underwear beneath a daring black rope mini dress Also at the starry event was Michael Marouli, Georgina Castle, Stewart F. Lane, Bonnie Comley, Matt Goss, Jess Folley, and Nick Collier. Following a sold-out run in Manchester, Burlesque The Musical is now playing at the Savoy Theatre for a strictly limited season until 6 September 2025. Christina swapped the spotlight for a seat in the stalls on Sunday 20 July, when she slipped into London's Savoy Theatre to watch a preview of Burlesque The Musical. The musical reimagines the 2010 screen hit that first turned her into an on-screen star. Christina previously displayed her thin appearance and sparked concern among fans who discussed rumours she might have undergone plastic surgery on her face to achieve her transformed appearance. Her frame has also sparked rumours among fans who wondered if she may have turned to Ozempic-like drugs to help her impressive weight loss. Despite the speculation among fans that she may have altered her appearance in some way, the Grammy-winning singer–songwriter has not addressed any of the rumours. She was previously rumoured to have had a breast augmentation after displaying a scar under her arm — which is a common place for the surgical incision — in 2010. Recently, Christina showed off her age-defying looks on the cover of the French magazine Carcy, which set rumours bubbling from fans who wondered if she had touched up her face. In October of last year, multiple plastic surgeons who had not treated the songstress spoke to about her seemingly transformed appearance, suggesting that she may have undergone a face lift to sculpt her cheekbones and smooth the natural lines between her nose and lips. Other cosmetic surgeons have shared similar opinions about her new appearance on social media. Although Christina has not directly responded to the claims, she recently said she no longer feels the need to 'give a f***' about the public scrutiny on her body. Following the speculation, she has since commented on the years-long 'obsession' over her weight in an interview with Glamour from August. 'When you're a teenager, you have a very different body than when you're in your 20s,' she said. 'I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, "Oh, she's getting thicker." Then I had industry people: "They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager."' However, as she has grown older, she revealed that she does not let comments about her weight affect her anymore. 'I have a maturity now where I just don't give a f*** about your opinion. I'm not going to take it on,' she stated.

Awkward moment Toni is PIED by Cach after trying to kiss him – as new Love Island triangle forms
A VERY awkward moment occured on Love Island as Toni was pied by Cach after trying to kiss him. Toni and Cach have had a bit of a bumpy romance so far on the show, hindered by Toni and Harrison's will-they-won't-they situation. 5 5 But after Harrison decided to leave the villa, Cach and Toni have grown close once more, with Toni attempting to reignite their spark. This didn't go too well in tonight's episode, as Cach decided to reject her kiss on the terrace. Toni invites him to the Hideaway for a private evening discussion, but he's quick to suggest the less intimate setting of the terrace instead. Once up there, Toni asks Cach: ' You're confused?' to which he replies: 'Yes, I'm confused.' Toni then suggests she'll clear up some of his confusion, and leans in for a kiss. But it quickly becomes a move that creates yet more confusion, as Cach rejects her attempts. The next day, they discuss what happened at the first ever Love Island Festival. They share another private moment, during which Toni says: 'I'll be alright that you didn't kiss me but it still hurts.' He replies: 'I didn't kiss you then but that doesn't mean it's going to be a never…' Emotional moment Love Island star Cach admits he DOES still like Toni She presses on: 'Where do we go from here, now you denied me my kiss?' Of course, all the while, Cach has been getting to know Billykiss too, and the pair have shared a kiss already. Earlier in the series, Love Island fans were left outraged after a recoupling saw Toni sensationally steal back Harrison hours after he slept with Lauren. Humiliated Cach then broke down in tears following the shock betrayal. Last night, Toni and Cach spoke on the daybeds, and she teased him for giving her a score of 10 for her kiss during the challenge. She asked him: "Like, what do you think about me now?" Cach replied: "Well, obviously I still have feelings for you." Toni replied: "I was hesitant to speak to you after the Harrison thing because I didn't want you to feel like an option." Cach sighed and said: "You've made this bare complicated for no reason. I still aint got an answer for you right now. Other that I'm willing to talk to you still. The door is not completely shut." Cach told her he's still exploring with Billykiss but they haven't had the affectionate or sexual side. Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX 5 5
